  • Based on the scientific and pedagogical analysis of the theory and experience of teaching computer science disciplines, the didactic mechanism for ensuring the continuity of the average (full) general and higher professional education of economists for practical implementation innovative technology of personal experience foundation. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of information competence, including laboratory, design, research work, the use of active teaching methods for acquiring management skills in production and activities of the enterprise. An indispensable requirement for the conditions for the implementation of basic of educational programs is the assessment of competencies. With this the goal was to develop criteria and levels of formation information competence of future economists and carried out complex diagnostics.

  • This paper reevaluates the influence and value of Shakespeare inherent in the history of music, focusing on the works of playwright William Shakespeare who have had an absolute influence on the history of music and various musical works derived from his work. To consider ways referred to the original work of Shakespeare, and at the same time to analyze the different musical pieces with his same material, and also about the musical implementation according to theatrical devices provided by Shakespeare through the four aspects of 'Shakespeare's musical descriptions and texts', 'Configuration model and its variants', 'Portrayal of person and human character' and 'Genre diversity and Creative possibility'.

  • Due to the development of mobile devices and communication technology, cell phones have radically evolved from portable phones into smartphones and provided variety of services to a society. This paper presents Multi-user Musical Instrument application for smart phones based on band instruments such as piano, guitar, bass guitar, and drum. This application makes music playing from smartphone to integrative music data stream using the synchronization function of server. In addition, user can play it of smartphone efficiently by implementing a graphic user interface similar to real musical instruments.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel implementation method to detect musical plagiarism which can provide human experts evidences to decide plagiarism using cutting-edge information technologies and thereby can solve exhaustive disputes on cases of musical plagiarism when the cases are decided by human experts' emotional preferences.

Musical Analysis on the Phrases of Chinese Poetry in Pansori Words (판소리 사설 중 한시 어구의 활용에 따른 음악적 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out the way of utilizing phrases of Chinese poetry in Manjeongje and its musical characteristics. To this end, the roles of phrases contained in the Pansori words were classified into five patterns: landscape description, strengthening of pleasant emotions, strengthening of sad emotions, wordplay, and combination of various poems. As a result of analysis, phrases quoted in sad mood part consist of slow rhythm of Jinyangjo and Jungmori, and sad melody of Gyemyun-gil and Jingyemyun tone; thus, both the rhythm and melody are expressed in accordance with the mood of poems. On the other hand, the melody in the landscape description parts, and the rhythm in the joyful feeling and wordplay parts showed the characteristics of determining the mood. In addition, when applying the analysis results to the perspective of Pansori composition, it is necessary to discover novel texts, apply to editorials, and study musical implementation suitable for the original mood in order to create more artistic Pansori.

  • The Musical Slide Show MAF, which currently being standardized by MPEG, conveys the concept of combining several established standard technologies in a single file format. It defines the format of packing up MP3 audio data, along with MPEG-7 Simple Metadata Profile and MPEG-21 Digital Item Declaration metadata; with JPEC images and optional text, and synchronizes them all together to create a slideshow of JPEC image data associated to MP3 audio data during the audio playback. The implementation of Musical Slide Show MAF can be a music karaoke file where users can sing along while listening to the music, view the JPEG slideshow and reading the lyrics; or a story-telling file where users can listen to the narrated story by looking at the related illustration slideshow of the story In this paper we present the tool to producing the Musical Slide Show MAF contents. Regardless the knowledge of user on the MAF file format, the authoring tool simplify the manner of packaging several multimedia contents into single file.

  • This paper deals with the implementation of a high-quality audio system for karaoke. For improving the key/tempo changes performance, we separated the audio into many musical instrument channels. By separating musical instrument channels, high-quality key/tempo changes can be achieved and we confirmed this using the cross-correlation distribution and the MOS evaluation. The improved audio system was implemented using the TMS320C6747 DSP with fixed/floating-point operations. The implemented audio system can perform the multi-channel WMA decoding, the MP3 encoding/decoding, the wav playing, the EQ, and the key/tempo changes in real time. The WMA channels used for processing the separated instrument channels. The audio system includs the MP3 encoding/decoding function for playing and recording and the wav channel for the effect sound.

  • This paper describes design and implementation of the system that is used to efficiently retrieve music information at a digital music library. Unlike typical music information retrieval systems, this system allows the user to sing a part of the melody through the microphone which he/she wants to find rather than using title, composer or the subject catalog to search. The system then recognizes the musical notes information through the signal processing of the sounds of the entered melody, and the intervals contour is created based on this information and used as a search pattern. By running the proposed notes string search algorithm that uses the musical notes information processed with the user input, and it produces the approximate search results. Therefore, users are able to retrieve and appreciate the music whenever he/she can sing any portion of the desired music.

  • This study aims to develop an Orff musical activity program based on interpersonal care for children from multicultural families in South Korea. The Orff music activity program based on interpersonal care consists of a program that can control ego-resilience, peer relationships, happiness, anxiety, and stress, and was developed based on the Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation (ADDI) model. As a result, a ten-session program was developed based on the expressive area of care, theme, goal, interpersonal care technique, Orff technique. The research results of the developed program show that interpersonal care nursing can be effective for children from multicultural families, and this program can be used as an intervention to improve children's mental health.
