As the importance of human-computer interaction (Human Computer Interface) technology grows and research on HCI is progressing, it is inferred about the research emotion inference or the computer reaction according to the user's intention, not the computer reaction by the standard input of the user. Stress is an unavoidable result of modern human civilization, and it is a complex phenomenon, and depending on whether or not there is control, human activity ability can be seriously changed. In this paper, we propose an intelligent emotional recommendation system using music as a way to relieve stress after measuring heart rate variability (HRV) and acceleration photoplethymogram (APG) increased through stress as part of human-computer interaction. The differential evolution algorithm was used to extract reliable data by acquiring and recognizing the user's biometric information, that is, the stress index, and emotional inference was made through the semantic web based on the obtained stress index step by step. In addition, by searching and recommending a music list that matches the stress index and changes in emotion, an emotional recommendation system suitable for the user's biometric information was implemented as an application.
A psychophysical measurement technique called "magnitude estimation" was used to evaluate several interior design alternatives for a high speed train. Pas- senger activity, seat direction, and passenger age were manipulated by using a three factor within-subjects experimental design. During the experiment, two dependent measures, a line length and a numerical estimate for each alternative design were collected to validate the experimental procedures. The results showed that pasnger seats arranged in the same direction as the running direction of the train was favored nine times more than the opposite. Also, the subjects preferred listening to music in a coach train to the other activities such as reading newspaper, watching a movie, and resting. This paper demonstrates that a psychophysical technique can be sued in the design of a development process, especially when it is difficult to quantify design variables such as subjective opinion or preference, etc.

The theme of this study is holistic healing environment of children's library and it was researched on the basis of anthroposophy theory of Rudolf Steiner. According to Steiner's theory, human being consists of body, spirit, and soul. Especially, children are sensitive ones, and through synthetic function of 12 kinds of senses, they can be holistically healed (healing of body, spirit, and soul). As the sense independently functions or it is a element that cannot be described, it needs spatial plan to support synthetic function of it. We classified the healing space's meaning of children library by motion (including art and music), reading, & landscape healing activities and analyzed spatial characteristic to support each activity.

In this paper, a speech endpoint detection algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm is a kind of state transition-based ones for speech detection. To reject short-duration acoustic pulses which can be considered noises, it utilizes duration information of all detected pulses. For the optimization of parameters related with pulse lengths and energy threshold to detect speech intervals, an exhaustive search scheme is adopted while speech recognition rates are used as its performance index. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the baseline state-based endpoint detection algorithm. At 5 dB input SNR for the beamforming input, the word recognition accuracies of its outputs were 78.5% for human voice noises and 81.1% for music noises.

The intent of chis descriptive study is to investigale lhe patients perceived effect and expectance of activity therapy. The subjects for this study were 56 patients from the psychiatric ward in Severance Hospital. The data were collected during Lhe period from June 1, 1991 to January 18, 1992. The effect and expectance of the activity therapy was measured using a questionnaire developed by this study's investigators. The date were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test ancl one-way ANOVA, using the SPSS program. The results of this study can ue summarized as following ; 1. For motivatiorc for the accivity therapy, the response range was from 64.;] % to 89.3 %, that is, it showed a relatively positive response. 2. For the degree of improvement according to the nurse's method in the activity therapy, it was shown that the nurses need professional skill and meeting after activity therapy. 3. For the relevance of the nurse in the activity therapy, 90 % of the subjects had a positive answer for all of the activity therapy except the painting therapy. 4. For the perceived effect of the activity therapy, the following results were obtained. 1) 92% of the subjects had a positive response to the dance therapy, that is-I am vigorous physically. 2) 90 % of the subjects had a positive response to the reading therapy, that is-I acquire good ideas and instruction. 3) 98.1 % of the subjects had a positive response to the recreation therapy, that is-I am joyful. 4) 88.9% of the subjects had a posilive response to the writing therapy, that is-I am interested and become acquainted with other patients. 5) 86.8 % of tbe subjects had a positive response to the occupation therapy, that is-I am happy when I work. 6) 92.6 % of the subjeccs had a positive response to lhe painting therapy, that is-I can express myself in painting. 7) 87.3% of the subjects had a positive response to the musie therapy, that is-I am comforted. 5. For the expectance related to the activity therapy, 97.1 % the subjects had the most postive response to the music therapy which is a pleasant comfortable time. From the above-mentioned findings, it is suggested that psychiatric nurses need to development systematic and professional group activity therapy, and know the patient premorbid hobbies, interests and occupations.

The information and knowledge of modern society in the 2lst century is changing rapidly. Based on this social change, the ministry of education introduced STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Music) in 2011 to foster creative convergence talents. Therefore, this study is based on the PBL model that learners participate in the class voluntarily to develop appropriate talents in the 21st century. The combined subjects were English, which is the world's official language, and Science, which is found in almost all the fields with the development of the 4th industrial revolution. As a result, learners could define the problems and solutions during the English class and take part in the group activity actively to obtain the problems and solutions of environmental pollution during the Science class. Through this, learners answered that they had a great understanding of learning (86%), high motivation for learning (100%), improved self-confidence (100%), and improved collaboration and creativity (100%). Unfortunately, this study does not progress actively due to the entrance exams, which still require accurate answers rather than the necessity and effectiveness of convergence education. To foster talents suitable for the present age, more active research should be applied to a range of educational sites.
The purpose of his study was to explore the effect of crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan on the multicultural perception of young children. The subjects of this study were one class of 21 5-year-old children(experimental group) in J kindergarten and two classes of 5-year-old children (20 children in comparative group and 20 children in control group) in S kindergarten located in Y city, totaling 61 children (31 male children and 30 female children). Twenty sessions of Crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan (rhythmic patterns) developed by the author were applied to the experimental group, musical activities focusing on traditional Korean music to the comparative group and musical classes from Nuri curriculum for 5-year-olds to the control group, respectively. The result of this study showed the following, among the sub-factors of multi-cultural perception, the scores of post-cultural openness and post-cultural acceptability showed a significantly higher level in statistical terms in the experimental group, for which crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan were conducted, than those in the comparative group and the control group. The comparative group which participated in musical activities of traditional Korean music exhibited a significantly higher level of post-cultural respectfulness statistically (than other groups). The result of this study implies that crossover musical activities applying the traditional Korean Jang-dan have the effect of enhancing the perception of cultural openness and cultural acceptability which are the sub-factors of young children's multi-cultural perception.
'Geumokchongbu' that is Gajib(a book of songs) is composed only the works of An Minyoung. Ahn Minyoung was not only an editor of Gajib and also Musician that is a kind of singer, Because of his works, he is the one who should be studied for the history of literature of Sijo in the latter period of Chosun, especially in 19th century. Through the studies on 'Geumokchongbu' that is the Gajib edited by Ahn Minyoung. his excellent musical talent could be confirmed. 'Geumokchongbu' which is another Gajib in compared to 'Gagokwonryu' was produced under his careful musical consideration. The tunes shown on Gajib reflected the situation of Gagok just as it was sung and played in that period. Generally, the system of Gajib which was edited in that period Including 'Geumokchongbu' was continued on nowaday's tradition of singing and playing the Gagok. Nevertheless lots of studied results about Ahn Minyoung, the editor of Gajib. was reported. his personal aspect still was not explained for many detailed part. The introduction o( the background of works and various explanation was recorded for each work in 'Geumokchongbu'. The written year of works was found in the introductions. and some of Ahn Minyoung's life could be traced through the chronicle. It could be confirmed for his broad knowledge about music and detailed reality of active correspondences with many loyal family including Daewongun, Lee Haeung and artists in that period. The existence of a type of singing and playing which takes any part of specific tunes shown on Gajib was confirmed. For example, Hachuksi, a blessing poem, dedicated for Daewongun or loyal family was created for supposing singing and playing thoroughly. Accordingly, Hachuksi dedicated to specific persons might be sung and played at the same place, and in the same bundle. Through the study, the way of singing and playing the Gagok was much various, and the variety was confirmed concretely.
This study aims to examine the moderating effect of Extended Song Sharing for helping alcoholics to deal with stress. ESS is structure with non-verbal techniques approaches traditional Song Sharing technique. For this study, 64 alcoholics hospitalized were experimental (n=33) and control groups (n=31). The group was asked to participate in 12 ESS programs twice a week, every 45 minutes for six weeks. During this period, all those who belonged to the experimental and control groups were required to continue to participate in treatment programs prescribed by hospitals. Result: ESS interventional effects on subjects were evaluated using a stress response scale. As a result of the experiment, the WCC score of the experimental group increased 7.3% (p=0.000) but there was almost no change in the control group (1.5% increase, p=0.019). Effects of WCC types were higher in the experimental group, followed by 13.67% (p=0.006) in coping with wishful thinking, 9.66% (p=0.000) in the pursuit of social support, 6.35% (p=0.000) in dealing with problems, and 4% (p=0.000) in coping with emotions. ESS activities have been confirmed to improve the way alcoholics cope with stress.

The purpose of this study is to propose the revitalization of the existing senior cultural activity centers as a new venue for the social and cultural activity of the baby-boom generation. Unlike the previous generation of seniors, the baby-boom generation (born in 1955-1963) has a strong desire to actively participate in various social activities, as well as working for their living. In order to meet their needs, it is proposed that the existing senior cultural activity centers be redesigned and transformed from an elderly welfare perspective. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire including questions on the socio-economic background, need for cultural activities, social activities, and job-training programs. The data collected from a total of 229 baby-boomers were used for the final analysis by cross-tabulation. The major findings are as follows: most of the baby-boom generation strongly agreed that they were very different from the previous elderly generation in terms of their education and social and economic environment. Therefore, a new system for the senior cultural activity centers which can integrate these various needs is suggested to encourage the baby-boomers to participate more actively, even after their retirement. Based on the research results, a new paradigm for the senior cultural activity centers is proposed in order to enhance their quality. The application and practice of our research results would be very important, because larger numbers of baby-boomers are gradually retiring from the workforce, and it is necessary to ensure their ongoing integration in society for the further development of society in general.
