소규모 미술관의 외관형태분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Exterior Form in Small Art Museum)

  • Small art museums are important objects in the point of view that they are museums to speak for the general architectural culture of current Korea and immediate factors to have an effect on urban street view and urban people's life. In small art museums, form has had plural transfigurational process when we analyze the external component elements or form types, we will find various aspects. In past, composition of form was expressed by simple partition of surface and columv. Now a days, it is expressed with unnumerable formal vocabularies. Although these forms being looked plural, form principle of composition that prescribe it can be rather simple. This study aims to grasp the characteristics and the composition technique of form in small art museums by analyzing compositional elements of it.

문화예술시설의 재정적 독립방안의 관점에서 시니어프로그램의 역할 (Role of Senior Program for Financial Independence in Culture and Art Facility)

  • Purpose: Financial independence of the museum is an urgent issue in Korea. In this paper, methodology to combine arts and culture facilities with senior society is investigated based on case study of various senior programs in other countries. Methods: In this paper, case study of various senior programs from cultural and arts facilities in other countries are investigated in the aspect of public nature and independent management. Based on the analysis of the case study, optimal methodology is derived. Results: Based on case study of various senior program in other countries, it is clear that art and cultural facilities play important roles in participating elderly people to various social activities through developing programs specialized for elderly people. Conclusion: From analysis of the case study, senior program from arts and culture facilities provides more familiar contents rather than professional contents. Also, they consider more on communication and cooperation with local society to develop the senior program, which fulfill both public nature and financial independence.

An Analysis of Deng Sanmu's Seal Cutting Emulation-Centering on Ancient Seal, Qin Seal and Han Seal

  • In November 1983, Deng Sanmu's wife, Zhang Jianquan, donated a large number of Deng Sanmu's original seal carving stones and seal cutting scores to the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum in China. Therefore, the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum of China is the richest and most authoritative place to collect Deng Sanmu's original seal cutting stones and seal carving scores. According to the fieldwork, the original seal cutting stones and the seal cutting score donated by Deng Sanmu's wife, Zhang Jianquan, include Deng Sanmu's seal cutting inscriptions made between 1922 and 1963. In addition, Deng Sanmu's own life and career in the art are documented in detail in his markings, so the seal cutting inscriptions of Deng Sanmu in the collection of the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum of China are quite representative. We paper is a documentary review and study of the seal inscriptions of Deng Sanmu in the collection of the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum in China. For the accuracy and richness of this study, a total of 89 representative seals in the collection are used as primary sources to study Deng Sanmu's seal cutting emulation method. The specific content is centered on ancient seals, Qin seals, and Han seals, from which the lineage of Deng Sanmu's emulation methods of seal cutting is further clarified.

  • A new possibility for helping regional residents to establish the identity based on the history, culture and environment of the region and harmonizing art and culture in daily life can be seen from eco-museum. Unique cultural inheritances for each region exist not only in our nation but everywhere around the world, and Cheonan region is continuously attracting tourists from other regions as a home of the Independence Hall, Yu Gwan Sun Memorial, and live branches of independent activists with important inheritances such as tourist attractions and national treasures. However, despite unique environment of the region and inheritances with high academic values, lack of basic guides and explanations place the region in an environment that is difficult to approach. The purpose of this study is to systematically investigate regional inheritances based on the concept of eco-museum as an alternative for such problem recognition and to examine problems of inheritances scarred around Cheonan region based on their current status. The author of this study aims to analyze the investigated regional inheritances, rearrange their values and suggest possibilities for continued preservation and utilization.

Application of Finite Element Analysis for Structural Stability Evaluation of Modern and Contemporary Sculptures: 'Eve 58-1' by Man Lin Choi

  • 'Eve 58-1', the subject of this study is a statue made of plaster and its structural stability was evaluated by utilizing the CAE program in order to prevent the risk of damage arising from impact and vibration that are generated during the packaging and transportation process given its material characteristics. CAE is an abbreviation for Computer Applied Engineering for realization by predicting changes at the time of application of virtual physical energy. It is applied by reflecting the physical property conditions and each boundary condition of plaster, and the digital images of the internal and external structure of the work were acquired through 3D scanning and CT analysis for interpretation by executing finite element modeling. When acceleration is applied to the work in the direction of its own weight, the left-right side and the front-rear side, it was possible to confirm a maximum displacement value of 15.24 mm in the head section of the front-rear side direction that has been tilted by approximately 27° from the Y-axis and the largest stress value of 12.46 MPa was at the left ankle section. The corresponding results confirmed that the left ankle section is the most vulnerable area and the section for which precautions need to be exercised and supplemented at the time of transporting the work by means of objective values.

  • 문화유산기관들은 인류의 문화적 경험과 표현의 산물들을 기반으로 기관 및 지역을 넘어서는 협력망을 구성하여, 사회 구성원들에게 문화를 향유할 수 있는 사회적 환경을 조성해야 한다. 도서관이 소장한 문헌자원, 박물관이 소장한 유물 자원, 미술관이 소장한 예술품 자원, 기록관이 소장한 기록 자원의 통합적 관리를 통한 다양한 문화정보서비스의 창출이 필요하다. 본 연구는 도서관, 박물관, 미술관 및 기록관 등 문화유산기관의 협력 배경이 되는 관련법과 고려사항을 제시하고, 도서관, 박물관, 미술관 협력망과 통합형으로 북미 유럽 사례를 소개하였다. 이러한 사례 분석을 토대로 정책/제도적 측면, 기술적 측면 및 인적 측면의 문화유산기관 협력 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 비대면 시대에 따른 미술관과 초등학교 연계 온라인 교육프로그램을 중심으로 디지털 기술기반의 더 나은 교육 환경 조성을 위한 사용자 경험 유도 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 국내외 실시하고 있는 미술관 온라인 교육프로그램 현황을 분석하고 사용자 경험을 측정하기 위해 참여한 어린이와 학급 교사를 대상으로 1차 온라인 설문을 진행하였으며, 2차로는 전문가를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 디지털 미디어를 활용한 학교 연계 교육프로그램의 장단점이 존재했다. 이에 부정적인 의견을 토대로 사용자의 만족도를 높이려는 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 기술기반의 온라인 교육을 활성화하는 데 의의가 있다. 이 연구가 향후 초등학교에서 진행되는 비대면 온라인 미술 교육프로그램 사용자 경험에 대한 자료로 활용되고 나아가 실질적 활성화 방안을 논의하는 데 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

20세기 한국미술사 연구를 위한 소고: 1960-70년대 미술을 중심으로 (A Study on the $20^{th}$-century Korean Art History: Focusing on the 1960s-70s Art)

  • Historian Eric J. Hobsbawm once said "the task that historians have is to analyze the meanings of the past within the context of society and to track the changes and implementation." It would not be too far of a stretch to apply Hobsbawm's quote to art historian since art history, although quite specific, is still history. In addition, Hobsbaum also asserted that, "a mold called the past continuously forms the present or at least thought to be." It is my recognition that the major westernization of the last century took place under the Japanese colonization which served as the channel to usher in western art; however, the current 20thcentury Korean art history fails to recognize that the mold of the past, namely western art in this case, has formed the modern art of the present. Based on this recognition, attention was given to what lacked in the analysis of the current 20th-century Korean art history in terms of "Informel" which was identified as the turning point towards "modern art" in the Korean art history as well as the following "experimental art." My belief is that the art history of Korea has to be reassessed from, a socio-cultural perspective as well as adopting multi-level and diachronic understanding. However, the existing Korean art, especially the one between the end of 1950s to the 1970s was based on the perspective of "severance"; thus, raising the needs for the starting point of a new perspective. It is my conviction that meta perspective on writing is most essential in order to lay a solid basis for the Korean art scene to have a productive discussion. I feel the utmost necessity to reinterpret the typified history analysis and criticism which stemmed from the trauma under the Japanese colonization. The most urgent task is to avoid academic closeness and to share the research. Painting is an individual expression of the artist, but the act of expression is not free from the cultural and societal influence to which the artist belongs.

미술 전시를 위한 건축 공간 설계 사례 분석에 관한 연구 - 레미 조그(Rémy Zaugg)의 이론을 적용한 스위스 미술관들을 바탕으로 - (A Study on the Exhibition Space Design for Visual Art - Based on Rémy Zaugg's Writings -)

  • While artists and architects both recognize the importance of well-designed exhibition spaces, they have rarely shared, through direct and open communication, their thoughts on what constitutes an ideal architectural context for art. Remy Zaugg's text offers a rare and valuable insight on artists' conception of an ideal space for art, and his words and diagrams have directly influenced some of the successful architectural projects for art in the recent past. By analyzing the original content of Zaugg's writings, and highlighting Zaugg's key design elements from three sample projects, all of which mention Zaugg's text as a direct reference, we can compile a list of core design elements for constructing an ideal space for art. Three museums closely incorporated all but two of Zaugg's seven core planning elements, and the remaining two recommendations on the luminous ceiling and gallery distribuition were more subjectively interpreted. These deviant components in turn become unique features to each project, suggesting proper areas of intervention for architects as authors.

미술관 이미지저작권 아카이브 모델 연구 (A Study on Image Copyright Archive Model for Museums)

  • 본 연구의 배경 및 목적은 다음과 같다. 미술관에서 생성되는 미술 콘텐츠 생명주기 전반에 걸친 저작권 서비스 연구개발의 필요성과 창조산업에서 이미지저작권 콘텐츠 유통시장 활성화와 저작권 서비스 관리체계 수립의 필요성에 의해, 이미지저작권 보호 및 이용 활성화를 위한 미술관 이미지저작권 아카이브 모델을 설정하기 위해 다학제적으로 진행된 융복합 연구이다. 본 연구의 연구방법 및 내용, 결과는 다음과 같다. 국내 1,000여개의 뮤지엄(박물관, 미술관, 전시관 등)의 저작권료에 대한 산정, 분배, 정산, 모니터링에 대한 기준체계를 제안하여 이미지 저작물의 이용 활성화 및 재활용을 통한 미술콘텐츠 생태계 투명화 및 효율성 향상화를 위해서 다양한 제안이 이루어졌다. 우선, 이미지저작권 아카이브 모델의 내용설계 및 구조설계를 제안하였으며, 프로토타입 시뮬레이션, 실현 시뮬레이션, 모델 가동 시뮬레이션을 위하여, 미술관 미술콘텐츠 유통 서비스 플랫폼을 제안하여, 미술 콘텐츠 저작권료 프로세스 모델을 설정하였다. 미술관 소장품 및 미술작품 유통 과금 기술 개발과 저작권 자동분배 및 정산 엔진 개발은 이미지 콘텐츠에 대한 과금 체계 및 기술 개발이 미약하기 때문에 기본 프레임워크는 기존 콘텐츠 과금 프레임워크를 모델로 사용하였다. 궁극적으로는 미술작가, 미술관 학예사, 유통업체 등이 사용가능한 이미지저작권 아카이브 모델을 제안하였다. 사업화 전략에서는 미술관 이미지저작권 아카이브 모델의 틈새시장 침투전략(Niche penetration strategy)을 제안하였다. 판매확대 전략에서는 미술관 아카이브 시스템의 유동적 연결을 통하여, B2B, B2G, B2C, C2B 형태의 이미지 거래를 효율적으로 진행되게 하며, 이미지 저작물의 관리가 통제 가능한 비즈니스 모델이 수립되었다. 향후 혹은 앞으로의 과제는 미술관에서 소장하고 있는 소장품 및 신규 창작 작품의 미술 콘텐츠 분쟁 예방 및 유통 및 활용에 대한 정보 제공을 통해, 미술작품에 대한 이미지저작권자와 소유자간의 분쟁 등을 최소화하고, 미술품 저작물의 관리성이 향상될 것으로 기대된다. 또한 미술관의 소장품 및 신규작품에 대한 아카이브에 대한 가이드라인이 제공되어, 이미지저작권 등록 증대가 예상되며, 이미지저작권 유통 서비스에 대한 저작권료, 과금, 분배, 정산 등 다양한 융합적 비즈니스 활용이 가능해 질 것이다.
