And I map out organizational status of the POSCO Museum in the POSCO I examined activities of the POSCO's archives acquisition method about the records which left out the records management rules, unavoidably scattered and lost, or the records related the POSCO are created outer the corporation. I made up arrangement scheme of the archives with it and gave the code to mix the character and the figure. In accordance with the arrangement scheme of archives, I extracted the description elements of organizational structure and function and of real records. The former is guide level and the latter is in detail. The POSCO Museum used the business archives to publish the corporate history and to exhibit, but in another corporation, usage of the business archives was various, it is contacted current activities of the corporation. • At present, domestic archives within the realm of performing arts predominantly focus on recording through videos, yet they often lack comprehensive documentation of crucial production processes and content services. Recognizing the contemporary significance of archival content services, this study analyzes the archival content within the national performing arts archives websites of the United Kingdom and the United States, serving as international benchmarks. The findings extrapolate insights and implications to propose enhancements for the Museum of Performing Arts in the National Theater of Korea. The analysis focused mainly on the missions and visions on the websites, examining 107 contents from the UK National Theater, 27 from the United States, and 9 from Korea. The suggested improvements encompass clarifying target users and execution tasks in the mission and vision statements, fostering expert collaborations, incorporating preview features, curating content with a single theme, and organizing a comprehensive list on the National Theater's YouTube channel.

  • In the recent changes in the museum industry, one trend that can be observed is museums' attempt to expand their role scope from the collection and preservation of historically valuable materials to utilization and recreation through the introduction of the concept of an archive for museum data management and utilization. Data generated by the experience program at the university museum is expected to grow in size and increase the value of use, but there has been no area where records management for the experience program has been systematically established and operated. Therefore, this study conducted a survey on the operation status of domestic and foreign university museum experience programs and the person in charge of them. Based on the analysis of the results, it proposed a method for handling the records of the university museum experience program to systematically collect related records and manage them efficiently.

  • In recent years, the term "art archives" has become increasingly popular, with the growing use of archives in exhibitions and program planning within domestic cultural and arts institutions. The need for art archives has been raised for reasons such as establishing the identity of art and culture and providing basic resources for academic research; however, they are now being recognized as a direct resource and service for users. Accordingly, research has also been conducted on the values, policies, and management practices of art archives in the archiving field. Nevertheless, there is a lack of research on management methodologies that can be applied to institutions that manage art archives. In particular, for the efficient use of art archives, classification, organization, and systematic management of descriptive areas must be preceded. But, There are different methods of managing art archives depending on the type of collection, the management institution, and the characteristics of the collection resources, which, in turn, makes it difficult to apply a consistent methodology for classification and description. Based on actual cases from The Art Archives, Seoul Museum of Art, this study examined the types and categories of arts, and presented the establishment of a classification system and archival description rules.

  • To research the directionality of Korean literary archives, this paper introduces the modern literature archive of the National Library of Korea and discusses the future direction of the archive of the National Museum of Korean Literature. The modern literature archive of the National Library of Korea is operated with focus on digitizing the original text of modern literature, providing professional release information, and constructing contents related to modern writers and literary history. As such, the National Museum of Korean Literature, which aims to open in 2023, needs to refer to the case of the National Library of Korea but introduce more professional curating. In other words, the archivist should have the initiative to document the context of the records so that literature can be reproduced creatively based on the archived data. Moreover, he/she should actively implement archive policies to expand the availability of materials.

  • Fredrick Krause's chair in the Brooklyn Museum of Art (accession no. 87. 19) is a key to the understanding of factory-made, patent furniture, and the Modern Gothic style in the United States. However, research has rarely done for this chair as well as for the designer. Since this piece is incorporating the utility patent, it is a valuable example to understand the nineteenth-century patented furniture. Because of the popularity of Modern Gothic style, the similar style of chairs were often manufactured. This study explores how other examples are related and what the significance of the Brooklyn Museum chair is. The book of Sharon Darling provided especially helpful information about other Krause chairs in Fond du Lac and chair manufactures in Chicago. The interview with John Ebert at Galloway House in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin was especially helpful. Several primary sources proved helpful in researching the chair. The photo archives. of Kimbel and Cabus at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum provides me a key to this research.
