Time-related underemployment exists when a person's employment is insufficient in terms of the volume of work. Two alternative definitions can be considered based on a longer-term view or a shorter-term view and these were designed into a single questionnaire. We conducted a pilot sample survey with about 6,000 respondents in Korea. The estimates of underemployment using the two definitions show some differences given the ages, genders, industrial areas and main activities of the respondents. A larger number of people could be identified as underemployed when the longer-term view is used than when the shorter-term view is used, but there is a greater cost associated with the former. The cost-benefit of the interviewers' time was investigated by multiple visits to households. Biases and costs are also analyzed using the results of the comparison of the decrease in non-responses with the increase in the costs for the interviews.
A method to reduce seam line artifact in spatial compounding of ultrasonic images is presented. Spatial compounding is a speckle reducing imaging technique in which a number of ultrasound images of a given target that have been obtained from multiple view angles are combined into a single compounded image by combining the data received from each data point in the compounded image. Since different view angle results in different view area, and the images of different view arms are combined into an image, the compounded image consists of regions with different signal to noise ratio, and the boundary lines between these regions are visible as seam lines in the compounded images. In this paper, we present an algorithm that reduces the visibility of this seam line in the spatially compounded images. Design procedure for a FIH filter is described and the results of applying the filter to in-vivo ultrasonic images are analyzed.

This study was cross sectional descriptive survey study to analysis the relationship between marriage value view and health promotion behavior among university students. Questionnaires from those who voluntary agreed to the study were collected online, and the collection period was from May 20, 2020 to June 10, 2020. Research tools for analyzing marriage value view was used by RR lee, and health promotion behavior research tools was developed by Walker., The data analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0 as frequency, Pearson correlation, t-test, and Multiple regression analysis. According to the analysis, women had high passive (p<0.05) and exclusive (p<0.01) marriage value view, while men had high active (p<0.01) and instrumental (p<0.05) marriage value view. According to the analysis, it turns out that people who value interpersonal relationships during health promotion have a positive effect on romantic (t=2.383, R2=.257, p=.019) and instrumental (t=2.201, R2=.120, p=.030) marriage value view. Hygiene has been appeared to affect Passive marriage value view (t=3.001, R2=.111, p=.003) and Exclusive marriage value view (t=3.765, R2=.122, p=.000). Nutrition has been appeared to affect conservative marriage value view (t=2.086, R2=.118, p=0.039). Exercise has been appeared to affect conservative marriage value view (t=2.456, R2=.118, p=0.015) and active marriage value view (t=2.261, R2=.168, p=0.025). Through this study, in order to increase for the desire of marriage, marriage values need to be organized differently between men and women in marriage value programs and it suggested that health promotion behavior be included in programs that enhance the value of marriage.

Image stitching techniques produce an image with a wide field-of-view by aligning multiple images with a narrow field-of-view. While conventional algorithms successfully stitch images with a small parallax, structure misalignment may occur when input images contain a large parallax. This paper presents an image stitching algorithm that aligns images with a large parallax by regional linear warping. To this end, input images are first approximated as multiple planar surfaces, and different linear warping is applied to each planar surface. For approximating input images as multiple planar surfaces, the concept of dominant edges is introduced. Dominant edges are defined as conspicuous edges of lines in input images, and extracted dominant edges identify the boundaries of each planar surface. Dominant edge extraction is conducted by detecting distinct changes of local characteristics around strong edge pixels. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm successfully stitches images with a large parallax without structure misalignment.
This paper presents a solution of the 'Quick, Draw! Doodle Recognition Challenge' hosted by Google. Doodles are drawings comprised of concrete representational meaning or abstract lines creatively expressed by individuals. In this challenge, a doodle is presented as a sequence of sketches. From the view of at the sketch level, to learn the pattern of strokes representing a doodle, we propose a sequential model stacked with multiple convolution layers and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) cells following the attention mechanism [15]. From the view at the image level, we use multiple models pre-trained on ImageNet to recognize the doodle. Finally, an ensemble and a post-processing method using the minimum cost flow algorithm are introduced to combine multiple models in achieving better results. In this challenge, our solutions garnered 11th place among 1,316 teams. Our performance was 0.95037 MAP@3, only 0.4% lower than the winner. It demonstrates that our method is very competitive. This thesis explores the problem of reconstructing a three-dimensional(3D) scene given a set of images or image sequences of the scene. It describes efficient methods for the 3D reconstruction of static and dynamic scenes from stereo images, stereo image sequences, and images captured from multiple viewpoints. Novel methods for image-based and volumetric modelling approaches to 3D reconstruction are presented, with an emphasis on the development of efficient algorithm which produce high quality and accurate reconstructions. For image-based 3D reconstruction a novel energy minimisation scheme, Iterated Dynamic Programming, is presented for the efficient computation of strong local minima of discontinuity preserving energyy functions. Coupled with a novel morphological decomposition method and subregioning schemes for the efficient computation of a narrowband matching cost volume. the minimisation framework is applied to solve problems in stereo matching, stereo-temporal reconstruction, motion estimation, 2D image registration and 3D image registration. This thesis establishes Iterated Dynamic Programming as an efficient and effective energy minimisation scheme suitable for computer vision problems which involve finding correspondences across images. For 3D reconstruction from multiple view images with arbitrary camera placement, a novel volumetric modelling technique, Embedded Voxel Colouring, is presented that efficiently embeds all reconstructions of a 3D scene into a single output in a single scan of the volumetric space under exact visibility. An adaptive thresholding framework is also introduced for the computation of the optimal set of thresholds to obtain high quality 3D reconstructions. This thesis establishes the Embedded Voxel Colouring framework as a fast, efficient and effective method for 3D reconstruction from multiple view images.
Recently, as business problems become more complicated and require more precise quantitative results, large-scale model management systems are increasingly in demand for supporting the decision-making activities. In addition, as distributed computing over networks gains popularity, departmental computing systems are gradually adopted in an organization to facilitate collaboration of geographically dispersed multiple departments. In departmental collaborative model management systems, multiple departments share common models but approach them with different user-views depending on their departmental needs. Moreover, the shared models become evolved as their structures and the corresponding data sets change due to the dynamic nature of the operating environment and the inherent uncertainty associated with the problems. In such capacity, providing the multiple departmental users with synchronized and consistent views of the models is important to improve the overall productivity. In this paper, we propose a collaborative model management framework for coordinating model change and automatic user-view update in a departmental computing environment. To do so, we describes changes in the model and their effects occurred in departmental model management environments and identifies the constructs and processes for maintaining the consistency between a shared model and its departmental user-views. Especially, in this framework, generic model concept was adopted for accommodating diverse mathematical models in a uniform way in a modelbase and object-oriented database management systems(ODBMS) for combining the model management constructs and automatic user-view update mechanisms in a single formalism. A prototype object-oriented modeling environment was developed using an ODBMS called ObjectStore and $C^{++}$ programming language on Windows NT.

Useful continuous sensing applications are increasingly emerging as a new class of mobile applications. Meanwhile, open, multi-use sensor devices are newly adopted beyond smartphones, and provide huge opportunities to expand potential application categories. In this upcoming environment, uncoordinated use of sensor devices would cause severe imbalance in power consumption of devices, and thus result in early shutdown of some sensing applications depending on power-hungry devices. In this paper, we propose EnergyCordy, a novel inter-device energy use coordination system; with a system-wide holistic view, it coordinates the energy use of concurrent sensing applications over multiple sensor devices. As its key approach, we propose a relaxed sensor association; it decouples the energy use of an application from specific sensor devices leveraging multiple context inference alternatives, allowing flexible energy coordination at runtime. We demonstrated the effectiveness of EnergyCordy by developing multiple example applications over custom-designed wearable senor devices. We show that EnergyCordy effectively coordinates the power usage of concurrent sensing applications over multiple devices and prevent undesired early shutdown of applications.
Spatial correlation is a result of insufficient antenna spacing among multiple antenna elements, while temporal correlation is caused by Doppler spread. This paper compares the effect of spatial and temporal correlation in order to investigate the performance of multiuser scheduling algorithms in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) broadcast channels. This comparison includes the effect on the ergodic capacity, on fairness among users, and on the sum-rate capacity of a multiuser scheduling algorithm utilizing statistical channel state information in spatio-temporally correlated MIMO broadcast channels. Numerical results demonstrate that temporal correlation is more meaningful than spatial correlation in view of the multiuser scheduling algorithm in MIMO broadcast channels. Indeed, the multiuser scheduling algorithm can reduce the effect of the Doppler spread if it exploits the information of temporal correlation appropriately. However, the effect of spatial correlation can be minimized if the antenna spacing is sufficient in rich scattering MIMO channels regardless of the multiuser scheduling algorithm used.
