상호작용 비선형성이 있는 다중 리더와 단일 추종자를 위한 일치 기반의 협력 제어 (Consensus-based Cooperative Control for multiple leaders and single follower with interaction nonlinearities)

  • 본 논문에서는 상호작용을 갖는 다중 리더들과 단일 추종자를 위한 협력 제어 문제를 고려한다. 리더들은 제어 가능하고, 추종자는 모든 리더들과 상호작용을 갖고 상호작용에 의하여 제어된다. 따라서 리더들을 제어함으로써 일치를 달성하는 협력 제어문제를 연구한다. 리더들과 추종자는 각 일차 적분기와 이차 적분기로 모델링되고 상호작용에 비선형성이 존재한다고 가정한다. 리더들은 추종자 사이의 상호작용만을 측정할 수 있고 이웃한 리더들과 측정된 정보를 교환할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 측정된 상호작용에 대한 정보와 속도 일치를 위한 가상의 속도 변수에 대한 정보교환을 이용하여 일치 기반의 협력 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 라살레 불변의 법칙을 기반으로 에이전트들의 공통 상태로의 수렴을 해석한다. 마지막으로 이론적 결과들을 검증하기 위하여 수치적 예제를 제공한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and profile Korean women's fashion opinion leaders on demographic, psychological and communication channels dimensions. The questionnaire was administered to 1204 students from a purposively selected. women's universities in Seoul. The data was analyzed using $X^2$-test, t-test, multiple regression analysis and discriminant analysis, The significance level was set at. 05. The major findings derived from analysis are as follows: 1. Fashion opinion leaders are generally come from families with higher income, more education and higher occupational status than followers. 2. Fashion opinion leaders are more likely to be exhibitionistic, self-confident, individualistic, risk taking and gregarious than followers. 3. Fashion opinion leaders are more exposed to impersonal communication media, especially to fashion magazines than followers. These findings imply an obvious usefulness for both manufacturers in the apparel industry as well as retailers to help them in the identification of their target market for the introduction and acceptance of fashion items.

한국군의 효과적인 지휘행동에 관한 탐색적 연구 -소대장과 대대장을 중심으로- (An Exploratory Study on Military Leadership Behavior in the ROK Army)

  • Data from a series of four studies on leadership behavior are analyzed and compared to identify effective patterns of leadership behavior for platoon leaders and battalion commanders in ROK Army. Multiple-method research strategy is utilized in four studies to overcome some of the limitations of previous researches. Two of four studies employ a questionnaire method, and the rest use content analysis of critical incidents. Important behaviors for leadership effectiveness in both platoon leaders and battalion commanders include Supporting and Motivating Task Commitment. However, Developing and Monitoring Operations are only important in platoon level, and Planning & Organizing and Recognizing & Rewarding only in battalion level. Most discrepancies in results among studies can be explained in terms of either method effects or situational differences in role requirements for leaders.

패션기업 팀장의 리더십이 팀 임파워먼트 및 팀원의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Leadership by Team Leaders on Team Empowerment and the Performance of Team Members in Fashion Companies)

  • This study analyzes the effects of leadership by team leaders on team empowerment and the effects of team empowerment on the performance of team members in fashion companies. A survey was conducted from May 1 to June 30 in 2010. The data were collected from team members in fashion companies in the Seoul metropolitan area and 670 respondents were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result, the leadership of the team leaders was classified by the contingent reward, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, charisma, and exceptional management. Team empowerment was classified by the team potency, team autonomy, team impact, and team meaning. The performance of team members were classified by the job accomplishment, job satisfaction, and job commitment. The intellectual stimulation and charisma leadership influenced team empowerment in fashion companies; in addition, the team potency, team impact, and team meaning influenced the performance of team members in fashion companies.

농민조직의 리더십 유형과 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Leadership Style and Development of Agricultural Organization in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the leadership style and development of agricultural organization in Korea. Specific objectives of the study were to : 1) identify the leadership style of agricultural organization though literature review, 2) survey the members' opinions about their leadership style, 3) examine the leader's self-estimation of their leadership style, 4) identify the desirable leadership style items of the leaders and members, 5) suggest effective way to the development of leadership style. The study was carried out through literature review and questionnaire survey. Total of 715 farmers were surveyed to collect data, and 501 responded. The statistical techniques applied on the data are frequency, percentile, analysis of variance, multiple regression utilizing the SPSS/WIN, and the statistical significance was tested at .05 level. The major findings of the study were: 1) the leaders motivation and problem solving abilities of agricultural organizations were not enough to satisfy the members, 2) members believed the leaders make somewhat arbitrary decisions, 3) the leaders of the organizations had difficulties to coordinate the different opinions of the members, and 4) the leaders of the organizations felt the need of skills and information on leadership style and development of agricultural organization. For improvement of leadership for agricultural organization, this study suggests; 1) the more education programs should be made and practiced to make their leadership special, 2) all members should make much efforts to have channels for rational communication, 3) the leaders have to give members well-polished incentives for active participation, 4) more governmental support should be given to empower those organizations, and 5) the agricultural organizations, universities and government must establish a strong coordinating system to realize above suggestions.

입력 포화를 고려한 2차 다중 에이전트 시스템을 위한 봉쇄제어 (Containment Control for Second-order Multi-agent Systems with Input Saturations)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 리더 에이전트와 추종 에이전트들로 구성된 2차 다중 에이전트 시스템의 봉쇄제어 문제를 연구하였다. 봉쇄제어의 목표는 추종 에이전트들을 다중 리더 에이전트들에 의해 생성되는 convex hulll을 추종하도록 하는 데에 있다. 따라서 리더 에이전트들에 의해 전체 그룹을 제어함으로써 다중 에이전트 시스템의 군집 행동을 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서 리더 에이전트들은 일정한 속도로 움직이고 추종 개체들은 입력 포화가 존재하는 경우를 고려하였다. 또한 추종 에이전트들은 이웃한 에이전트들과 상태 정보를 교환할 수 있고, 이웃과의 상대 상태 정보만 이용 가능하다 가정하였다. 이러한 가정하에 움직이는 리더 에이전트들을 고려한 봉쇄제어 문제를 해결하기 위해 비례-적분 기반의 분산제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 또한, 라살레 불변의 법칙을 기반으로 추종 에이전트들의 리더 에이전트들에 의해 생성되는 convex hull로 수렴을 보장하는 제어 이득들에 대한 조건들을 조사하였고 시스템 파라미터의 정보만으로 설계할 수 있음을 보였다. 마지막으로 모의실험을 통한 이론적 결과를 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents a knowledge-based view of platform-centered collaborations among multiple organizations. Studies of technological innovation and knowledge creation have broadened beyond their initial emphasis on internal development within an organization or simple exchange of ideas between two parties toward complex collaboration among many organizations at the level of platform-based knowledge ecosystems. Platforms serve as an interface between different groups of producers and consumers in a variety of multi-sided knowledge markets such as smartphone operating systems and video games industries. This study is an exploratory examination to offer theoretical understanding of how the organizational capabilities of platform leaders help expand a network of platform participants. The growth of platform participants is particularly important in the early stage of any platforms as the concept of network effects suggests that the platform with the largest number of participants will capture entire markets. Building upon organization studies and network economics theory on multisided markets, this paper focuses on the role of platform leaders in expanding platform-based collaboration. In our view, platform leaders develop varying levels of three organizational capabilities to discern quality of potential participants, to attract them to actually participate in collaboration, and to maintain long-term exchange relations in the ecosystem. We suggest that the capabilities of platform leaders will have a positive effect on the expansion of platform participants to secure network effects, and also examine several contextual factors that moderate the relationship between a platform leader's capacity and platform expansion.

한국의 트위터 오피니언 리더들의 정치적 정보행동에 관한 연구 - 정보세계이론을 중심으로 - (An Exploratory Study on the Political Information Behaviors of Korean Opinion Leaders on Twitter: Through the Lens of Theory of Information Worlds)

  • 이 연구는 2014년 제6회 전국동시지방선거(6.4 지방선거) 기간 동안 트위터 정치커뮤니케이션 네트워크에서 큰 영향력을 행사한 오피니언 리더 이용자들의 정치적 정보행동을 탐구하였다. 13명의 오피니언 리더 이용자를 대상으로 반구조화 심층면담을 진행하였으며, 피면담자는 이메일, 스카이프(Skype), 면대면 3가지 양식 중 가장 선호하는 방식을 선택하여 면담에 참여하였다. 면담내용은 정보세계이론의 5가지 개념(사회적 역할, 규범, 정보가치, 정보행동, 경계)을 조작화하여 만든 코드북과 근거이론을 함께 사용하여 질적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 오피니언 리더 이용자들은 그들이 속한 복수의 사회적 세계에서 비롯된 사회적 역할 중 특정한 역할을 선택하여 전시하고, 그에 수반된 규범에 따라 평가한 정보가치를 기준으로 정치적 정보행동(선택적 정보공유, 정보회피, 정보교환)에 참여하였으며, 다른 정보세계와 교차하는 경계에서 다양한 충돌과 협력의 상호작용을 경험하였다.

패션기업 팀장의 리더십과 팀원의 신뢰가 직무몰입 및 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Leadership of Team Leaders and Trust of Team Members on Job Commitment and Satisfaction in Fashion Companies)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze whether leadership of team leaders and trust of team members have an effect on job commitment and satisfaction in fashion companies. A survey was conducted from December 8 to 22 in 2008, among team members of fashion companies. The data was collected with 464 subjects, the statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows; first, contingent reward, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration of leadership had an effect on all factors of trust. Charisma of leadership had an effect on calculus-based trust and identification-based trust, but management by exception had an effect on knowledge-based trust. Second, calculus-based trust and identification-based trust about team leaders had an effect on job commitment and satisfaction of team members. Third, charisma, contingent reward and intellectual stimulation of leadership had an effect on job commitment and satisfaction of team members.

Demographic Characteristics and Small Business Success: Evidence from Indonesia

  • The demographic characteristics of a leader are important for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several researchers have proven that demographic characteristics affect business success. Unfortunately, business success has only been analyzed from a financial perspective and has not been compared to the owner's interests perspective. This study examines business success from both perspectives. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics of small entrepreneurs and their impact on business success. Demographics consist of age, experience, education, and gender. Meanwhile, business success is seen from two perspectives: financial performance and the owner's interest. The study used an explanatory survey method. The number of samples is 155 entrepreneurs who are also the leaders of their businesses. The research was conducted in Bandung City, Indonesia, in 2021. The data was processed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression. The study results found that age only affects financial performance. Experience is proven to affect financial performance and the interests of the owner. Gender only affects the interests of the owner. This study concludes that in difficult times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, having young leaders who are experienced will make it easier to achieve business success.
