중년 여성의 스트레스 증상에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Influencing Factors on Symptoms of Stress of Middle Aged Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing factor on Symptoms of Stress of Middle Aged Women. The subjects of this study were 35 middle aged women who lives in Seattle, Washington in U.S, and 74 middle aged women who lives in Seoul. Data collection was performed at the University of Washington and Seoul from Oct. 1998 to May. 1999. Data collected through 4 types of questionnaires : SOS, Ways of Coping, Mood Status, Perceived Stress. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The stress symptoms showed positive correlation with emotion-oriented coping, mood status, and perceives stress. 2. Stepwised multiple regression analysis revealed that most powerful predictor of Stress Symptoms was mood status. A combination of perceived stress, mood status and ways of coping account for 64% of the variance in Symptoms of stress in Middle aged women. From the results of the study, the following recommendations are presented as follow: 1. It is necessary to replicate this study with a larger sample. 2. It is necessary to develop a stress management program focused on ways of coping, mood status, perceived stress for middle aged women.

결혼이주 임신여성의 스트레스 대처방식 유형에 따른 모-태아애착과 모성정체성 (Maternal-Fetal Attachment and Maternal Identity according to Type of Stress Coping Strategies on Immigration Pregnancy Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive survey study was designed to identify the stress coping types of married immigrant pregnant women and find out the differences in maternal-fetal attachment and maternal identity based on each types. Methods: 151 married immigrant women who visited 3 women's hospitals located in J-do for pre-pregnancy checkup were selected as study objects. Data were analyzed by dsecriptive statistics, cluster analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ multiple comparison test. Results: Cluster analysis revealed 4 distinct stress coping styles; low stress-coping involvement social support-oriented type, high stress-coping involvement hopeful thinking type, low stress-coping involvement type, effective stress coping types. Women frequently using effective stress coping type among the four types reported higher maternal-fetal attachment. The group of active coping styles got significantly higher score on maternal identity. Conclusion: Proper stress coping of married immigrant pregnant women regarding pregnancies proved to result in high levels of maternal-fetal attachment and maternal identity. Studies measuring the stress coping styles that affect pregnancies should be continuously conducted.

간호사의 통합성이 스트레스와 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Nurses' Sense of Coherence on Their Stress and Quality of Life)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of sense of coherence (SOC) on occupational stress, psychosocial stress and quality of life (QOL) of nurses working in a hospital. Methods: The participants were 401 nurses working in S hospital in Seoul. A stratified random sampling was performed for the all nurses in S hospital which were grouped by age and work unit. Data were collected by a self-report survey. Data analyses included descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson correlations, multiple linear regressions, and ANOVA. Results: This study showed nurses' occupational stress was at high risk and their psychosocial stress, at low risk. It also showed that those two types of stress are mutual predictors for each other and that SOC was a predictor for both types of stress. For QOL, SOC was also a predictor in SF-36 and MCS (Mental Component Summary). Therefore, SOC may be considered as a major controlling factor for stress and QOL. Conclusion: The results indicate the need to develop programs that enhances nurses' SOC, programs that could be utilized as an intervention to reduce nurses' stress and to promote nurses' QOL.

대학교 졸업반 학생의 취업 스트레스와 영향요인 (A Study on the Employment Stress in Senior-year University Students)

  • Purpose: We wanted to examine the degree of employment stress that university seniors suffer and to find the factors affecting on this employment stress. Methods: The subjects were 250 university seniors in Seoul and Gyeonggido, and the data were gathered by using questionnaires that were administered from September to October in 2004. The data were analyzed with the SAS program by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean score of the respondents' total employment stress was 96.5 point out of 200. Their sub-factors of employment stress was 2.0 out of 4.0 for 'academic', 1.9 for 'personality', 2.1 for 'school environments' and 1.9 for 'home environments'. The degree of the seniors' employment stress from such things as their majors, their available jobs in the future, leaves of absence from school, the employment status, and the number of semesters within the leave was found to have significant differences. The major factors affecting on the employment stress were those related to personality stress and majors of the students, and these were 92.7% of the total stress. Conclusion: This study suggests the necessity of intervention or counseling with consideration being given to seniors' employment stress and the other symptoms like depression for improving the health of university seniors.

임부의 스트레스, 우울 및 배우자와 가족의 지지가 모성 정체성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of stress, depression, and spousal and familial support on maternal identity in pregnant women)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to identify the factors influencing maternal identity in pregnant women. Methods: Using a descriptive research design, a cross-sectional survey was conducted. In total, 127 pregnant women were recruited from a tertiary hospital in Korea from January to April 2019. Measurements included maternal identity, stress, depression, spousal and familial support, and demographic and obstetric characteristics. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS version 25.0. Results: The mean score for maternal identity was 131.15 out of 160, and the mean scores for stress, depression, and spousal and familial support were 14.59 (out of 40), 6.82 (out of 30), and 109.04 (out of 132), respectively. Stress (r=-.38, p<.001), depression (r=-.37, p<.001), and spousal and familial support (r=.37, p<.001) were significantly correlated with maternal identity. In multiple regression analysis, stress (β=-0.27, p=.005) and spousal and familial support (β=0.23, p=.014) were found to be significant factors influencing maternal identity in pregnant women (F=14.19, p<.001). Conclusion: It is necessary to develop effective strategies to mitigate stress and to encourage spousal and familial support in pregnant women. Such strategies could further enable pregnant women to enhance their maternal identity.

대학생의 자아존중감과 스트레스에 미치는 영향 요인 (Factors affecting the Self-esteem and Stress of University Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate self esteem and stress of students at their universities for the development of a program related to school life and guidance. Methods: The survey were carried out in 5 universities located in Gyounggi Do, Gyungbuk Do, Busan city and Daegu city from 2014. October 1. to November 30. Out of a total of 500 Questionnaires answered by 500 students, 489 Questionnaires, were analyzed with SPSS version 12.0. Results: The total mean of the self esteem point of college student's school living was $3.41{\pm}0.44$ points. The total mean of the general stress point of college students was $2.67{\pm}0.52$ points. Affecting factors of the self-esteem of subjects(multiple regression analysis) were important things of school living(p<0.05), human and friendship(p<0.05), protector's job(p<0.001), home economic states(p<0.001), and friendship(p<0.001). Based on multiple regression analysis, affecting factors of the stress of subjects were important things of school living(p<0.05), human and friendship(p<0.05), religion(p<0.001), protector's job(p<0.001), friendship(p<0.001), and arbeit job(p<0.05). Conclusions: The results of this study help to provide a basis for development of a strategy to improve the self-esteem and solve problems of stress for university students. Also relevant programs should be developed and provided by related authorities and universities.

온라인 대학원 학습자의 학업 스트레스, LMS 활용만족도, 사회적 지지가 학업지속의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Academic Stress, LMS Utilization Satisfaction and Social Support on Academic Persistence among Online Graduate Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine academic stress, social support and learning management system(LMS) utilization satisfaction of learners attending online graduate schools and understand the factors influencing their academic persistence. Methods: The participants were students of K online graduate school and the data of 143 students, in total, were collected from April to May in 2019. For data analysis, frequency analysis, x2 test, t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS ver. 23. Results: Academic stress, social support, and LMS utilization satisfaction were associated with academic persistence of online graduate students. The multiple regression analysis of the factors influencing academic persistence showed that the model was significant (p<.001) with an explanatory power of 23% and that significant factors influencing it were academic stress (β=-.23, p=.002), LMS utilization satisfaction (β=.31, p<.001) and jobs (β=.23, p=.002). Conclusion: Although the online graduate students' level of academic persistence was high, it is required to develop strategies to alleviate their academic stress and increase LMS utilization rate in order to increase their persistence to academic success. In addition, it is necessary to provide the foundation on which the utilization of major knowledge regarding jobs can be enhanced, reflecting the characteristics of online graduate students. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to the extension of professional and advanced education in response to social needs by developing a variety of online high education learning systems beyond time and space.

하악구치부에서 Bicon 임플란트에 의해 지지되는 고정성 국소의치의 광탄성 응력분석 (A PHOTOELASTIC STRESS ANALYSIS OF FIXED PARTIAL DENTURES WITH BICON IMPLANTS ON MANDIBULAR POSTERIOR AREA)

  • Statement of problem: Several prosthetic options are available for the restoration of multiple adjacent implants. A passively fitting prosthesis has been considered a prerequisite for the success and maintenance of osseointegration. Passivity is a particular concern with multiple implants because of documented inaccuracies in the casting and soldering process. One way to avoid this problem is to restore the implants individually, however, the restorations of individual adjacent impants requires careful adjustment of interproximal contacts. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the stress distribution pattern and amount surrounding Bicon implants with individual crowns and splinted restorations. Material and method: A photoelastic model of a human partially edentulous left mandible with 3 Bicon implants($4{\times}11mm$) was fabricated. For non-splinted restorations, individual crowns were fabricated on 3 abutments ($4{\times}0.65mm,\;0^{\circ}$, 2.0 mm post, Bicon Inc., Boston, USA) After the units were cemented, 4 levels of interproximal contact tightness were evaluated: open, ideal ($8{\mu}m$ shim stock drags without tearing), medium($40{\mu}m)$), and heavy($80{\mu}m$). Splinted 3-unit fixed partial dentures were fabricated and cemented to the model. Changes in stress distribution under simulated non-loaded and loaded conditions(7.5, 15, 30 lb) were analyzed with a circular polaricope. Results: 1. Stresses were distributed around the entire body of fin in Bicon implants. 2. Splinted restorations were useful for distribution of stress around implants especially with higher loads. 3. By increasing the contact tightness between the individually restored three implants, the stress increased in the coronal portion of implants. Conclusions: Ideal adjustment of the contact tightness was important to reduce the stresses around individually restored Bicon implants.

고강도 콘크리트의 등가응력 매개변수 추정에 관한 연구 (Prediction of Equivalent Stress Block Parameters for High Strength Concrete)

  • 최근 들어 고강도 콘크리트의 사용이 꾸준히 증가하고 있지만 현행 국내 콘크리트구조설계기준은 보통강도 콘크리트에 기초한 등가직사각형 응력매개변수를 사용하고 있어 응력분포가 일반 강도 콘크리트와 상이한 고강도 콘크리트의 설계 시 문제점을 야기할 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해서는 고강도 콘크리트에 대한 새로운 등가응력 매개변수 값이 제시되어져야 할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 등가응력 매개변수를 제안하기 위해 기존 연구자들의 실험데이터를 토대로 선형 및 다중회귀분석을 수행하여 40~80 MPa 까지의 고강도 콘크리트에 대한 등가응력 매개변수를 이론적으로 추정하고 제안된 등가응력모델을 휨과 압축 부재설계에 적용시켜 기존의 국내 콘크리트구조설계기준과 비교검토 하였다. 제안된 등가응력모델로 구조설계를 수행한 결과, 콘크리트 강도 40~70 MPa 까지는 기존 모델에 비해 콘크리트 단면 감소 효과가 있었으며 또한 압축부재의 경우, 제안된 모델이 기존 모델 보다 콘크리트의 압축력을 더 보수적으로 평가하는 것으로 나타났다.

간호대학생의 그릿(Grit)과 스트레스가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Grit and Stress on Nursing Student's Adjustment to College Life)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 그릿(Grit)과 스트레스 및 대학생활 적응간의 관계를 살펴보고 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 간호대학생의 대학생활 적응에 도움이 되고자 시행되었다. 연구 대상자는 간호대학에 재학 중이면서 최소 1학기의 임상실습을 이수하고 본 연구에 참여하기를 동의한 145명의 학생이며, 자료수집 기간은 2017년 6월 14일부터 6월 16일까지였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Statistics 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, Pearson's correlation, Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 본 연구대상자의 그릿(Grit)은 대학생활적응과 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.17, p=.047)가 나타났으며, 스트레스는 대학생활적응과 유의한 음의 상관관계(r=-.31, p<.001)가 나타났다. 대학생활 적응에 그릿(Grit)과 스트레스는 11.2%의 설명력(F=9.98, p<.001)을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 대학생활 적응을 위해서는 그릿(Grit) 수준의 향상과 효과적인 스트레스 관리를 위한 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용을 제안한다.
