The Hadoop system was developed by the Apache foundation based on GFS and MapReduce technologies of Google. Many modern systems for managing and processing the big data have been developing based on the Hadoop because the Hadoop was designed for scalability and distributed computing. The R software has been considered as a well-suited analytic tool in the Hadoop based systems because the R is flexible to other languages and has many libraries for complex analyses. We introduced Rhipe which is a R package supporting MapReduce programming easily under the Hadoop system, and implemented a MapReduce program using Rhipe for multiple regression especially. In addition, we compared the computing speeds of our program with the other packages (ff and bigmemory) for processing the large data. The simulation results showed that our program was more fast than ff and bigmemory as the size of data increases.

Overlay routing has emerged as a promising approach to improve reliability and efficiency of the Internet. For one-hop overlay source routing, when a given primary path suffers from the link failure or performance degradation, the source can reroute the traffic to the destination via a strategically placed relay node. However, the over-heavy traffic passing through the same relay node may cause frequent package loss and delay jitter, which can degrade the throughput and utilization of the network. To overcome this problem, we propose a Load-Balanced One-hop Overlay Multipath Routing algorithm (LB-OOMR), in which the traffic is first split at the source edge nodes and then transmitted along multiple one-hop overlay paths. In order to determine an optimal split ratio for the traffic, we formulate the problem as a linear programming (LP) formulation, whose goal is to minimize the worse-case network congestion ratio. Since it is difficult to solve this LP problem in practical time, a heuristic algorithm is introduced to select the relay nodes for constructing the disjoint one-hop overlay paths, which greatly reduces the computational complexity of the LP algorithm. Simulations based on a real ISP network and a synthetic Internet topology show that our proposed algorithm can reduce the network congestion ratio dramatically, and achieve high-quality overlay routing service.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the social maturity of sustained sport-for-all participants on their physical and mental health. The subjects in this study were 190 company employees who were selected by convenience sampling from among the residents in Gangwon Province. The selected office workers continued to participate in sport-for-all programs. After a survey was conduced from November 7 to 25, 2011, the statistical package SPSS WIN 18.0 was employed to analyze the collected data. To find out the general characteristics of the subjects, frequency analysis was made, and the reliability test of the instrument and factor analysis were carried out. Descriptive statistics analysis was made by factor, and multiple regression analysis was utilized to look for connections among their variables. As a result, it's found that the social maturity of the sustained sport-for-all participants made a significant difference to their physical health, and that their social maturity made a significant difference to mental health as well. As sustained sport-for-all participation was found to be correlated to their physical and mental health, office workers should be given a chance to participate in sport-for-all on a long-term basis.

This study investigates the relationship between the difference of the importance of physical environment by use behavior and customer satisfaction based on the customers who have visited domestic fine dining restaurants and tries to develop a marketing strategy to promote sales in fine dining restaurant business suffering from the global economic hard times. A survey was conducted to examine the customers who were older than 20 years old and have visited a fine dining restaurant, 'Wood & Brick' and 'Benigni', located at Sejongro Junction in Seoul for 61 days from May 1 to June 30, 2009. SPSS 14.0 statistical package was used to process data. Frequency analysis, reliability test, ANOVA, and multiple regression were executed. The result shows that the difference of the importance of physical environment by use behavior depends on the number of visits per month and the cost per capita. On the relationship between physical environment and customer satisfaction, cleanness, space arrangement, charm, and accessibility have positive effects on customer satisfaction.
The subject of this study is a cohort of elderly women who are older than 60 years of age and reside S city in and Jeonnam. The sample size of this study is 386. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, reliability, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression analysis through the SAS package program. The major study result were as follows. First, the physical satisfaction of elderly women is low, and the life satisfaction of the married group is higher than for the widowed group. Second, according to the results. For the women from the married group, the effect were from economic state, age, and physical satisfaction. There were also significant interaction effects according to economic state$\times$physical satisfaction, age$\times$economic state$\times$physical satisfaction, and age$\times$physical satisfaction. As for women from the widowed group, the effect were from physical satisfaction, economic state, and age. There were also significant interaction effects according to economic state$\times$physical satisfaction, age$\times$physical satisfaction, age$\times$economic state$\times$physical satisfaction, and age$\times$economic state. Fourth, the married group gave significance to life satisfaction, economic state, physical satisfaction, and age. The group of widows gave significance to life satisfaction, physical satisfaction, economic state, and age. The results of this study suggest that we should be concerned about the physical satisfaction of older women and should foster a social atmosphere to establish a positive image of elderly women.
