SNS 사용자의 서브계정 관리행동에 대한 탐색 (An Exploration of Sub-account Management Behavior of SNS Users)

  • Purpose This study is to phenomenologically discover key antecedents and outcomes of behavioral process of SNS users who have multiple SNS sub-accounts. Unlike previous studies that focused on user behavior in the context of a specific SNS platform, this study attempts to describe how and why individual manages their multiple sub-accounts across a variety of SNS platforms. Design/methodology/approach By applying the grounded theory methodology (GTM) to elucidate the unique behavior in SNS platforms, this study has conducted in-depth interview with 14 respondents who handle multiple accounts across the SNS platforms. As a results of analyzing the interview manuscripts, this study has extracted 47 concepts, 10 sub-categories and 6 main categories by conducting open coding, axis coding, and selective coding. Findings By analyzing interview data, this study has derived main categories such as account management, impression management, self-categorization, authority to determine the relationship, digital shadow work, and portfolio SNS accounts from qualitative interview data. This study has also conducted a process analysis that represents how main categories could be inter-related. Based on findings, this study provides a new phenomenological perspective to understand the behavioral process of SNS users' sub-account usage experience.

  • This study qualitatively explored the case of users utilizing multiple accounts on one social network service to create their own multiple spaces and different personas. The purpose of the study was to understand the behavior of people who use multiple accounts to express their identity online using Carl Jung's personality theory. We used in-depth interviews and the Zaltman metaphor elicitation technique (ZMET), targeting 19 people in their 20s and 30s who use more than one personal account on Instagram. Creating a shared consensus map using the configuration concept of ZMET derived six personas in relation to Instagram accounts. The motivations for the respondents' self-presentation associated with their personas and self-presentation types shown on Instagram were analyzed in terms of persona and fashion and subdivided into five dimensions: relationship management strategic presentation, self-monitoring presentation, competence demonstration presentation, anonymous presentation, and persona-centered presentation. Each respondent's persona and self-presentation formed by the Instagram account was analyzed.

  • Intraspinal cavernous malformation (CM) accounts for 5% to 16% of all spinal vascular abnormalities. Multiple spinal cord CMs are very rare and only a few cases have been described. We report a patient presented with right chest paresthesia and seizure, and diagnosed as multiple spinal intramedullary CM and intracranial involvement.

  • This study investigated elementary students' (grade 4~6) learning progressions for water cycling drawn from iterative assessments using ordered multiple-choice (OMC) items. An assessment system, which consisted of construct map, item design, outcome space, and measurement model, was employed in this study to examine children's learning progressions. At the first stage of the assessment system, a construct map was designed on which children's conceptual understandings from naive to most sophisticated were represented. At the item design stage, 8 OMC items were drawn from the construct map. Each item option of the OMC items was scored from 0 to 3 according to its level of understanding at the stage of outcome space. As a measurement model, Rasch model, a branch of item response theory, was applied to interpreting the outcomes of the OMC items. This cycle of assessment system was furtherly implemented iteratively in order to elaborate on the first version of water cycling learning progression. In conclusion, children's understanding of water cycling could be described in two aspects: water distribution and water movement. We identified children's conjectural developmental pathways about water cycling existed from superficial and naive accounts to more complex and abstract accounts.

  • 전 세계적으로 SNS(social network service) 사용자와 사용 시간이 매년 증가하고 있으며, SNS의 영향력 또한 점점 커져가고 있다. 이에 따라 SNS는 일상적인 의사결정에서부터 기업의 경영활동에 이르기까지 광범위하게 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 SNS를 적절히 분석하는 것은 매우 의미 있는 작업이 될 수 있는데, 이에 많은 연구들이 SNS에서의 다양한 활동과 관계를 들여다보려는 많은 노력들을 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 SNS 서비스 가운데 하나인 트위터를 이용해서 SNS 팔로잉 관계를 분석하고자 한다. 즉, 기존의 SNS 분석과는 달리 두 개 계정이 공통으로 팔로잉하는 계정들을 추출하고 시각화 함으로써 해당 계정들의 관심사를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 마이크로소프트 액셀 매크로를 사용해 공통 팔로잉 계정을 추출하였으며, 인접행렬를 이용해 추출된 계정들 간의 관계를 정의하였다. 또한 팔로잉 관계 분석을 용이하게 하기 위해 방향 그래프를 이용해 시각화 하였으며, 이 같은 시각화에는 R 프로그래밍을 사용하였다.

국내·외 SPA 브랜드의 이미지 기반 패션 큐레이션 이미지 유형 및 이용자의 이미지 선호에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Image Types and User's Preference on Image-based Fashion Curation of Domestic and Foreign SPA Brands)

  • This study classified and analyzed the types of images posted on official accounts operated by domestic and foreign SPA brands on Instagram and Pinterest, which are image-based fashion curations, and performed a survey on preferred image types in the fashion curations of SPA brands. It aims to induce active apparel purchasing behavior of consumers through the suggestion of image types about fashion curations for effective communication between fashion brands and consumers. The survey to targets the 20s and 30s was carried out from October 23, 2015 until November 22 and conducted factor analysis, paired t-test. The above images were classified into four types based on previous studies: product images, brand images, lifestyle images, multiple images. The results of the survey were also divided into four factors in line with the classification of image types. Generally, foreign SPA brands(H&M, Uniqlo, Zara) used image-based fashion curation services more frequently than domestic SPA brands(8Seconds, Mixxo, Spao, Tngt). The analysis of image types in the fashion curations of SPA brands showed that product images accounted for the highest proportion of images used in the official accounts of SPA brands. However, the comparison of averages on the preferred image types of survey respondents showed that the users who had once visited the official accounts of SPA brands on Instagram and Pinterest preferred in the order of lifestyle information > product information > brand information > multiple information provided by SPA brands, which was statistically significant.

갑상샘 여포암의 다발성 골전이 1예 (Follicular Thyroid Cancer with Multiple Bone Metastasis : A Case Report)

  • Follicular thyroid cancer(FTC) accounts for about 10-15% of thyroid cancer. Distant metastasis is common, usually to lung, bone and brain. 71-years-old man visited neurosurgery outpatient department. He complained of recent 6kg weight loss, left upper extremity pain with weakness and back pain. The radiologic findings showed multiple bone metastasis including thoracic spine and left scapular resulting from FTC. There was a probable brain metastatic lesion on right temporal fossa. The core biopsy of thyroid and thoracic spine(T11) confirmed metastatic follicular carcinoma. Radioactive iodine therapy and radiotherapy was done following total thyroidectomy. We report a unique case of multiple bone metastasis from follicular carcinoma of thyroid with literature review.

Framework for One Account Log-in From Multi Device On Mobile Application

  • Many applications require users to log-in, some applications can allow users to use the same account is active on multiple devices at the same time. On location-based application that serves to record the movement of the position, account is active on multiple devices could not be permitted because it causes a different location data from multiple devices, so the location of the users become ambiguous. This paper describes a simple protocol to prevent users from using their accounts on multiple devices at the same time. This Protocol will turn off one account on a device when the account log-in on new devices.

Micromechanics Modeling of Functionally Graded Materials Containing Multiple Heterogeneities

  • Functionally graded materials graded continuously and discretely, and are modeled using modified Mori- Tanaka and self-consistent methods. The proposed micromechanics model accounts for multi-phase heterogeneity and arbitrary number of layers. The influence of geometries and distinct elastic material properties of each constituent and voids on the effective elastic properties of FGM is investigated. Numerical examples of different functionally graded materials are presented. The predicted elastic properties obtained from the current model agree well with experimental results from the literature.

Optimization Methods for Power Allocation and Interference Coordination Simultaneously with MIMO and Full Duplex for Multi-Robot Networks

  • The present work addresses the challenging problem of coordinating power allocation with interference management in multi-robot networks by applying the promising expansion capabilities of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and full duplex systems, which achieves it for maximizing the throughput of networks under the impacts of Doppler frequency shifts and external jamming. The proposed power allocation with interference coordination formulation accounts for three types of the interference, including cross-tier, co-tier, and mixed-tier interference signals with cluster head nodes operating in different full-duplex modes, and their signal-to-noise-ratios are respectively derived under the impacts of Doppler frequency shifts and external jamming. In addition, various optimization algorithms, including two centralized iterative optimization algorithms and three decentralized optimization algorithms, are applied for solving the complex and non-convex combinatorial optimization problem associated with the power allocation and interference coordination. Simulation results demonstrate that the overall network throughput increases gradually to some degree with increasing numbers of MIMO antennas. In addition, increasing the number of clusters to a certain extent increases the overall network throughput, although internal interference becomes a severe problem for further increases in the number of clusters. Accordingly, applications of multi-robot networks require that a balance should be preserved between robot deployment density and communication capacity.
