Preparation and Properties of PVDF Multilayer Film

  • As the rapid development of the electronics, the demand for portable electronics and wireless sensors is growing faster, also with the increased needs of one material which can power it automatically, and then power the electrical devices. The piezoelectric effect of the PVDF material can be used for this. So in this paper, PVDF multilayer films were made for this aim. Make the PVDF / DMAc solution in the 10% concentration; use the spin coater technique to make films with the optimum process parameters: the spin rate is 1260rpm; the spin time is 70s; the dry temperature is 100$^{\circ}C$; the dry time is 30mins. And also, for obtaining the higher $\beta$-phase crystallinity, put the Ca(NH3)2.4H2O into the PVDF / DMAc solution system.

러프집합을 이용한 다층 신경망의 구조최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structure Optimization of Multilayer Neural Networks using Rough Set Theory)

  • In this paper, we propose a new structure optimization method of multilayer neural networks which begin and carry out learning from a bigger network. This method redundant links and neurons according to the rough set theory. In order to find redundant links, we analyze the variations of all weights and output errors in every step of the learning process, and then make the decision table from their variation of weights and output errors. We can find the redundant links from the initial structure by analyzing the decision table using the rough set theory. This enables us to build a structure as compact as possible, and also enables mapping between input and output. We show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm by applying it to the XOR problem.

Organic Photovoltaic Devices on $HNO_3$-Treated Multilayer Graphene Electrodes

  • We reported on the characteristics of organic solar cells (OSCs) fabricated on $HNO_3$-treated multilayer graphene (MLG) transparent electrodes. MLG electrodes were prepared using a chemical vapor deposition and a multi-transfer process. Compared to organic solar cells (OSCs) on the ITO electrodes had a fill factor of 65.97%, and a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 3.364%, OSCs on the MLG (three-layer graphene) electrodes with sheet resistance of $274{\pm}1{\Omega}$/square and transparency of 92.1% had a fill factor of 43.46%, and a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 2.019%. However, OSCs on the HNO3-treated MLG electrodes with lower sheet resistance of $119{\pm}1{\Omega}$/square had a fill factor of 57.54%, and a PCE of 2.861%. The results would provide a promising method to improve the performance of large-area OSCs based on MLG electrodes.

  • A Fuzzy Hybrid-Multilayer Perceptron (FH-MLP) Structure is proposed in this paper. proposed FH-MLP is not a fixed architecture. that is to say. the number of layers and the number of nodes in each layer of FH-MLP can be generated to adapt to the changing environment. FH-MLP consists of two parts. one is fuzzy nodes which each node is operated as a small fuzzy system with fuzzy implication rules. and its fuzzy system operates with Gaussian or Triangular membership functions in premise part and constants or regression polynomial equation in consequence part. the other is polynomial nodes which several types of high-order polynomial such as linear. quadratic. and cubic form are used and is connected as various kinds of multi-variable inputs. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. time series data for gas furnace process has been applied.

  • MLCC(Multilayer ceramic capacitor) 등의 전자 세라믹스 분야에서 폭넓게 이용되는 BaTiO3 분말 제조를 위해 GNP(Glycine-Nitrate process)법을 이용하였다. 일반적인 GNP법과는 달리 출발물질로 카보네이트와 알콕사이드를 도입했고, 연소반응의 산화제 및 출발물질의 용매로써 질산을 사용하였으며, 연소합성시의 연료인 글리신의 첨가량을 달리하여 분말을 합성하였다. 연소합성된 분말의 특성은 helium pycnometer, XRD, N2 흡착을 이용한 BET, 주사전자현미경 등으로 분석하였다. 제조된 전구체 분말은 100$0^{\circ}C$로 하소시에 단일상의 BaTiO3 상으로 전이되었으며, 조성이 1.2인 경우 24m2/g의 높은 비표면적 값을 나타내었다.

  • In this study, a new manufacturing process for a multilayer-clad electrical contact material is suggested. A thin and dense BCuP-5 (Cu-15Ag-5P filler metal) coating layer is fabricated on a Ag plate using a high-velocity oxygen-fuel (HVOF) process. Subsequently, the microstructure and bonding properties of the HVOF BCuP-5 coating layer are evaluated. The thickness of the HVOF BCuP-5 coating layer is determined as 34.8 ㎛, and the surface fluctuation is measured as approximately 3.2 ㎛. The microstructure of the coating layer is composed of Cu, Ag, and Cu-Ag-Cu3P ternary eutectic phases, similar to the initial BCuP-5 powder feedstock. The average hardness of the coating layer is 154.6 HV, which is confirmed to be higher than that of the conventional BCuP-5 alloy. The pull-off strength of the Ag/BCup-5 layer is determined as 21.6 MPa. Thus, the possibility of manufacturing a multilayer-clad electrical contact material using the HVOF process is also discussed.

  • Conventional patterning based on wet-process for multi-layered film is a relatively complex and costly process though it is a necessary step for fabrication of TFT-LCD module. Recently, a direct pattering by laser has been studied because it is low cost and simple process compared to the wet process. In this work, the selective removal process of multi-layered film (polyimide/indium tin oxide/glass) is studied by modeling the thermal and mechanical behavior for multi-layered structure. Especially, the effects of thickness of polyimide layer are examined.

  • In the process of MLCC manufacturing, MLCC stacking process is the key process of making high quality MLCC. Since MLCC is small components, the entire process of MLCC stacking process is minute and sensitive to micro errors. To prevent micro error, we suggest condition-based monitoring which quantifies error based on feature extraction and quantifying error method. As results, it has been shown that the suggested algorithm has effectiveness of condition based monitoring of MLCC stacker.

  • Glass/Ni$_{83}$Fe$_{17}$(2 nm)/[Cu(2 nm)Ni$_{83}$Fe$_{17}$(20 nm)]$_{50}$ 다층박막의 평면 홀 효과를 측정하였다. 평면 홀 효과에서 반복된 톱니모양의 홀 효과 신호가 관측되었다. 그 원인으로 갑작스러운 자벽의 이동이 홀 효과로 관측된 것이라는 가설을 세울 수 있다. 이러한 톱니모양의 평면 홀 효과는 모든 측정방향에서 관측되었다. 각 자성층의 전체 자화만이 자기저항을 결정하므로 자기저항의 특성곡선에서는 이러한 톱니모양에 해당하는 신호가 관측되지 않았다. 톱니모양의 근본 원인에 대한 연구는 더욱 수행되어야할 것이다.것이다.

  • In this paper, an intelligent adaptive controller is proposed for the process with unmodelled dynamics. The intelligent adaptive controller consists of the numeric adaptive controller and the intelligent tuning part. The continuous scheme is used for the numeric adaptive controller to avoid the problems occurred in the discrete time schemes. The adaptive controller is adopted to the process with time delay. It is an implicit adaptive algorithm based on GMV using the emulator. The tuning part changes the design parameters in the control algorithm. It is a multilayer neural network trained by robustness analysis data. The proposed method can improve the robustness of the adaptive control system because the design parameters are tuned according to the operating points of the process. Through the simulation, robustnesses are shown for intelligent adaptive controller. Finally, the proposed algorithms are implemented on the electric furnace temperature control system. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is shown from experiments.
