  • The multidimensional poverty index is an indicator system established for defining and evaluating poverty, to understand poverty in dimensions beyond just monetary scarcity. Based on income, education, health, living standards, and social dimensions, this article measures and analyzes the level of multidimensional poverty in Xinjiang using the AlkireFoster method, with cross-sectional data obtained from a 2022 survey. Probit model is constructed for regression analysis, further considering the impact of education on enhancing feasible capabilities and alleviating multidimensional poverty at the post-poverty alleviation era. The data shows that many people still face significant challenges from the perspective of multidimensional poverty; the decomposition results of each dimension show that education contributes more to the multidimensional poverty; the regression analysis results show that the higher the education level, the lower the multidimensional poverty; heterogeneity analysis revealed that the inhibitory effect of education on multidimensional poverty is greater for females than males, and the poverty reduction effect of education mainly concentrates on middle-aged and older individuals. This article is meaningful for exploring strategies to alleviate multidimensional poverty in ethnic minority regions in frontier areas in the new era, accelerating regional economic development, and achieving shared prosperity.

  • The characteristics of poverty can be comprehensively revealed from the two angles of income and multidimensional. This paper compares China's rural income poverty measure with multidimensional poverty index using data from China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) by focusing on the static and dynamic disparities, and analyzes the factors influencing poverty through the Logit model. The results show that there exists a substantial mismatch in who is deemed poor, 60 percent of multidimensional poverty households are not considered poor in terms of income poverty, and 70 percent of income poverty households are not considered poor in terms of multidimensional poverty; There is a high level of disparity between the dynamics of the two measures of poverty. Among those who rose in the income dimension, only about 7 percent also rose in the multidimensional measure from 2016 to 2018.

  • The paper is devoted to problem of spline modeling of multidimensional signals. A new method of nodes location for curves and surfaces computer construction in multidimensional spaces by means of B-splines is presented. The criteria are which links a square-mean error caused by high frequency spline distortions and approximation intervals is determined and necessary theorem is proved. In this method use a theory of entire multidimensional spectra and may be extended for the spaces of three, four and more variables.

  • Multidimensional scaling is a multivariate technique for constructing a configuration of n points in Euclidean space using information about the distances between the objects. This can be done by the singular value decomposition of the data matrix. But it is known that the singular value decomposition is not resistant. In this study, we provide a resistant version of the multidimensional scaling.

  • Among OLAP(On-Line Analytical Processing) approaches, ROLAP(Relational OLAP) based on the star, snowflake schema which offer the multidimensional analytical method has performance problem and MOLAP (Multidimensional OLAP) based on Multidimensional Database System has scalability problem. In this paper, to solve the limitaions of previous approaches, design and implementation of multidimensional data model based on Object-Relation DBMS was proposed. With the extensibility of Object-Relation DBMS, it is possible to advent multidimensional data model which more expressively define multidimensional concept and analysis functions that are optimized for the defined multidimensional data model. In addition, through the hierarchy between data objects supported by Object-Relation DBMS, the aggregated data model which is inherited from the super-table, multidimensional data model, was designed. One these data models and functions are defined, they behave just like a built-in function, w th the full performance characteristics of Object-Relation DBMS engine.

  • In this paper, we extend the work by Lee et al. (2010) to multidimensional di usion processes. A test statistic analogous to the one-dimensional case is proposed to inves-tigate the joint stability of covariance matrix parameters and, under certain regularity conditions, is shown to have a limiting distribution of the sup of a multidimensional Brownian bridge. A simulation result is provided for illustration.

  • This study has the purpose to measure the multidimensional poverty in Korea by the counting approach which was theorized by Alkire and Foster to overcome problems of unidimensional approach, union method and intersection method for the identification of the multidimensional poor. By the counting approach applying to Welfare Panel in Korea during 2006-2008, the head-count ratio of the multidimensional poverty was measured. When 3 dimensions are applied as a dimension poverty line, the multidimensional poverty rate was 20% in 2008. It was due to broad deprivations in assets, social securities, income and health. Vulnerable classes such as single parent families, low-education level group, the aged, economically non-active population were among the severe poverty rates, which were reaching around 50%. The analysis reveals the possible alternative to change the present public assistance program to the robust approach of multidimensional poverty measurement, the counting approach. Social policies to reduce poverty in Korea would gain expected positive outcome with the various approaches based on the concepts of multidimensional poverty.

  • This paper presents a new index mapping method for DFT (Discrete Fourier Transform) and its application to multidimensional DFT. Unlike conventional index mapping methods such as DIT (Decimation in Time) or DIF (Decimation in Frequency) algorithms, the proposed method is based on two levels of decomposition and it can be very efficiently used for implementing multidimensional DFT as well as 1-dimensional DFT. The proposed pipelined architecture for multidimensional DFT is very flexible so that it can lead to the best tradeoff between performance and hardware requirements. Also, it can be easily extended to higher dimensional DFTs since the number of CEs (Computational Elements) and DCs (Delay Commutators) increase only linearly with the dimension. Various implementation options based on different radices and different pipelining depths will be presented.

  • Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effects of multidimensional five senses treatment on patients with depression or anxiety. Methods: This study examined the effects of multidimensional five senses treatment for patients with depression or anxiety who visited the neuropsychiatric clinic of Korean medicine. STAI-X1,X2, BDI, BAI, PAS were used to determine whether the mood (depression or anxiety) of patients was improved. Results: Our results showed that multidimensional five senses treatment improved the depressive symptoms or anxiety symptoms. In addition, after the multidimensional five senses treatment, PAS score in patients with panic disorder was improved. Conclusions: The multidimensional five senses treatment was effective for the improvement of patients with depression or anxiety.
