크로핑 된 초기소재 형상이 금형수명 및 제품의 정밀도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Cropped Initial Billet Shape on the Dimensional Tolerance and Tool Life)

  • In cold forging by multi stage former, crowing process is important process for the high production rate and automation of forging process. But various cropping defects occur in cropping process such as orthogonality, ovality and unevenness, etc. These defects have harmful effects on the dimensional tolerance of products and tool life. So in this study, the cropping experiment is performed to examine influence of cropping process variables(clearance, cutting velocity, H/D) on occurrence of crowing defects and optimum process variables are selected, and then FE analysis is performed to verify influence of these defects on dimensional tolerance and tool life.

  • Drilling Jig is the device according to industrial demand for multi manufacturing products on the growing at alarming rate. In the field of design and making for machine tool working, welding, assembling with jig and fixture for mass production is a specific division. In order to prevent the production defects the optimum design of product, fig and fixture putting in the field is very significant manufacturing method. They require analysis of many kinds of important factors, theory and practice of machine tool operating process and its phenomena, jig & fixture structure, machining condition for tool making tool materials, heat treatment of jig & fixture components, know-how and so on. In this study we designed and constructed a drilling jig of mass production and performed tryout under the Auto CAD, database, and window environment. Especially Part1 of this study is reveals with the analysis of part drawing, jig planning, jig design etc.

듀얼블레이드 로봇 클러스터툴의 생산성 분석 (Throughput Analysis for Dual Blade Robot Cluster Tool)

  • The throughput characteristics of the cluster tool with dual blade robot are analyzed. Using equipment's cycle time chart of the equipment, simple analytic form of the throughput is derived. Then, several important throughput characteristics are analyzed by the throughput formula. First, utilization of the process chamber and the robot are maximized by assigning the equipment to the process whose processing time is near the critical process time. Second, rule for selecting optimal number of process chambers is suggested. It is desirable to select a single process chamber plus a single robot structure for relatively short time process and multi process chambers plus a single robot, namely cluster tool for relatively long time process. Third, throughput variation between equipments due to the wafer transfer time variation is analyzed, especially for the process whose processing time is less than critical process time. And the throughput and the wafer transfer time of the equipments in our fabrication line are measured and compared to the analysis.

  • Recently, the trends of industrial products grow more miniaturization, variety and mass production. Micro drilling which take high precision in cutting work is requested more micro hole and high speed working. Especially, Micro deep hole drilling is becoming more important in a wide spectrum of precision production industries, ranging from the production of automotive fuel injection nozzle, watch and camera parts, medical needles, and thick multi-layered Printed Circuit Boards(PCB) that are demanded for very high density electric circuitry. This paper shows the tool monitoring results of micro drill with tool dynamometer. And additionally, microscope with built-in monitor inspection show the relationship between burr in workpiece and chip form of micro drill machining.

Especially part 1 of this study is reveals with the analysis of part drawing, fixture planning, fixture design etc.

탄소섬유 강화 복합재 가공용 드릴 공구 개발 및 홀 가공성 평가 (Development of a Drill Tool for CFRP Machining and Evaluation of Drilling Processing)

  • Carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRPs) are extremely strong and light fiber-reinforced plastics containing carbon fibers. CFRPs can be expensive to produce, but are commonly used wherever high strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity are required, such as in the aerospace, automotive, and ship superstructure industries. In CFRP drilling, the tool performance greatly varies depending on the tool shapes, cutting conditions, and diamond coating. This study developed a new type of tungsten carbide drill with multi-blade edges to evaluate the surface quality of CFRP materials according to the coating thickness of diamond-coated drills. Experiments on tool wear, surface roughness, and burr formation were conducted. The bore exit quality of a 12 mμ -coated drill was better than that of a 6 mμ -coated drill. The superior effects of the 12 mμ -coated drill and the good surface quality of CFRP were also demonstrated.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 시스템을 설계하고 개발하기 위한 방법들 중 하나로서, 다중 에이전트 모델을 이용하는 방식이 연구되고 있다. 이러한 방식은 다중 에이전트 모델의 장점을 유비쿼터스시스템에서 수용할 수 있도록 하였다. 그러나, 특정 유비쿼터스 시스템에 대해서는 기존의 다중 에이전트 모델들만으로는 완벽하게 기술하기에 어려운 부분이 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 요구가 동적으로 생성되면 개체들이 협업하여 이를 해결하는 협업 위주의 유비쿼터스 시스템에 초점을 맞추었다. 이러한 시스템에서는 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 형성되는 컴퓨팅 요소들간의 협업 조직이 매우 중요하지만, 일반적인 다중 에이전트 모델로는 이러한 협업 조직을 효과적으로 표현하기가 쉽지 않다. 즉, 기존의 모델만으로는 이러한 협업 조직의 동적인 생성과 소멸, 동적인 조직의 구성방식, 그리고 서비스를 제공하기 위한 조직 내에서 또한 조직들간의 협업 방식을 기술자기가 쉽지 않다는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그러한 협업 조직을 커뮤니티라 하고, 협업 중심의 유비쿼터스 시스템을 커뮤니티에 기반하여 기술하는 추상화 모델로서 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅 모델을 제안하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 시스템을 위한 체계적인 개발 체계가 수립되어 있지 않다는 점에 주목하고, 제안된 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅 모델을 기반으로 응용 시스템을 개발하기 위한 시스템 개발 과정을 제안하고 이를 빠르고 편리하게 도와주는 개발 도구를 구현하여 보았다. 마지막으로, 소규모의 유비쿼터스 시스템을 제안한 추상화 모델로 기술하고 개발 도구를 사용하여 다중 에이전트 플랫폼에서 개발하여, 제안한 방법의 실현성을 검증하여 보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 우편사업의 효율적 운영을 위해 추진중인 우편집중국의 건설과 관련하여 기존에 발표된 우편집중국의 건설에 관한 연구보고서 등을 통해서 우편집중국의 운영에 관한 연구 둥을 분석한다. 또한, 우편집중국간의 우편수송경로결정 의사결정지원 시스템을 개발하기 위해 우편물 수송모델을 수송수단에 따른 복수계층 네트워크(Multi layer network)로 구성하여, 이를 다품목네트워크 흐름문제로 수송모델을 정의하고, 정수선형계획문제로 정식화하여 최적화 S/W LINGO를 이용하여 구한 해의 결과를 분석하여 향후 우편수송경로결정을 위한 의사결정지원시스템의 기본으로 활용하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, the cutting characteristics and cutting mechanism of polystyrene foam was experimentally investigated. It was found that polystyrene foam has different cutting characteristics and cutting mechanism comparing with that of normal metal materials. By using the experimental results, the optimal cutting tool was designed and examined for approving the cuttingability of polystyrene foam.

  • This paper presents a Matlab toolbox for proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller design. By means of the tool, the complete set of controllers simultaneously satisfying multiple design specifications such as stability and robust stability margins can be obtained directly from the only frequency response data on the plant.
