  • 이 논문에서는 Wireless Network Mobility(NEMO) 환경하에서 지속적인 인터넷 연결성을 지원하고 또한 multi-angular routing 을 방지하여 최적화된 경로를 제공하기 위한 메커니즘을 제안한다. 이를 위해 각각의 NEMO 들은 parent-child 관계를 가지는 계층적 멀티 홉 NEMO 구조로 표현하고, 네트워크 이동성을 제공하기 필요한 최소한의 Mobile IPv6 Extension 에 대해서 설명한다. 또한 Wireless NEMO 환경하에서 hop by hop 터널링 기법을 이용한 최적화된 라우팅 동작에 대해 기술한다.

  • Processing of W-Cu graded materials from attritor-milled W-CuO mixtures is described. The powder reduction steps are investigated by TG and XRD analyses and by microstructural observations (SEM, TEM). Sintering of reduced powder with different compositions is analysed by dilatometry. Sintering behaviour of the graded component processed by co-compaction of a 10/20/30wt%Cu multi-layer material is briefly discussed. Liquid Cu migration is observed and smooths the composition gradient. Perspectives to control this migration are discussed.

  • Half channel angular extrusion(HCAE) is the integration of equal channel angular extrusion(ECAE), which is a well-known severe plastic deformation(SPD) method, with conventional forward extrusion in order to increase the strain per pass and effectiveness of the grain refinement. In the current study, the effects of processing routes during HCAE(Routes A, B, and C) on the strain distribution of the specimens have been investigated for an AZ61 Mg alloy by using three-dimensional finite element analysis. Comparisons with the results from a multi-pass of ECAE are made.

  • This paper deals with motion identification using artificial neural network (ANN) and its application to automatic ship berthing. As ship motions are expressed by multi-term non-linear model, it is very difficult to find optimal methods for automatic ship berthing especially under environmental disturbances. In this paper, metier identification was used to estimate the effect of environmental disturbances and then the differences between values of identification and state variables are used to estimate the effect of environmental disturbances. A rule based-algorithm using the difference is suggested to cope with the effect of the disturbances. Preliminary Analysis on Decommissioning Strategies for Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station From Waste Management Perspective

  • In this study, basic strategies for the decommissioning and site remediation of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (FDNPS) were investigated. Six scenarios were formulated based on two of the three decommissioning strategies of nuclear power plants defined by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA): immediate dismantling and deferred dismantling. A multicriteria decision analysis was performed to analyze the preferences of the options from the viewpoints of the timeframe to complete decommissioning, the resulting waste, the site usability, and the availability of the radioactive waste disposal route. The same six scenarios were applied to both the FDNPS and the nuclear power plants that ceased operation after a normal plant life cycle for comparison. For the FDNPS, the decommissioning project involved fuel debris retrieval, dismantling, and site remediation. The analysis results suggest that the balance between the amount of waste and the time to achieve the end state may be one of the most critical factors to consider when planning the decommissioning and site remediation of the FDNPS.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct and indirect effects of residential satisfaction on the quality of life and to analyze the difference according to the residence type. The subjects of this study were 422 elderly people aged 65 or older residing in two metropolitan municipalities. The data were analyzed by using structural equation model by multi-group analysis. The results showed that the degree of satisfaction with the residential environment indirectly affected not only the quality of life of the elderly but also social participation activities. As a result of verifying the difference of the residential satisfaction and quality of life path according to the residence type, there was a difference in the route between groups according to the type of residence. This study is significant in that the elderly who have not been interested in the elderly housing policy have been investigated and the relationship between the residential satisfaction and quality of life of the elderly by residence type has been investigated .

  • Conventional topology-based routing protocols are not suitable for inter-vehicular communication, where frequent route updates are necessary due to continuous and abrupt changes in network topology Position-based routing protocols are widely accepted to better serve their purpose in such a scenario as they do not require path discovery or maintenance. However they have to deal with the overhead of the location service and inaccurate position information. This paper proposes the MMFP (Multi-hop MAC Forwarding Protocol) for inter-vehicle communication that relies on reachability information collected from received packets in making a forwarding decision without path discovery. The MMFP is designed as an extension to the IEEE 802.11 MAC layer to ensure accuracy in its time-critical operations. This paper also presents some simulation results that demonstrate the superior performance of the MMFP over AODV in a realistic inter-vehicular communication.

  • In this paper, we propose two timing-driven routing algorithms for single-source net and multi-source net as applications of 1-Steiner heuristic algorithm. Using the method of substituting the cost of 1-Steiner heuristic algorithms with interconnection delay, our routing algorithms can route both single-source net and multi-source net which have all critical source-terminal pairs or one critical pair efficiently Our single-source net routing algorithm reduced the average maximum interconnection delay by up to 2.1% as compared with previous single-source routing algorithm, SERT, and 10.6% as compared with SERT-C. and Our multi-source net routing algorithm increased the average maximum interconnection delay by up to 2.7% as compared with MCMD A-tree, but outperforms it by up to average 1.4% when the signal net has only subset of critical node pairs.

  • In this study, the effect of the social distance maintenance and pedestrian route system was analyzed for Seoul Station, one of the multi use facilities according to the COVID-19 pandemic. For analysis, the Seoul Station pedestrian network was established through the survey of the number of passengers and CAD floor plan. A pedestrian that maintaining Social Distance was implemented using the Social Force Model. Based on this, scenario analysis was proceed. As a result, when the walking line system was installed the average walking speed decreased compared to the current situation. but the average density was analyzed that maintain the walking level of service (LOS)'C', this mean walking line system is effective, and the effect of the walking line system was proved. It can be used as a pedestrian simulation model.

A Study on the Generation of Perspective Image View for Stereo Terrain Analysis for the Route Decision of Highway (고속도로 노선선정에서의 입체지형분석을 위한 영상조감도 생성에 관한 연구)

  • The technology for the three-dimensional terrain perspective view can be used as an important factor in planning and designing for the various construction projects. In this study, the stereo image perspective view has been generated for the multi-dimension analysis by combining useful digital map and remotely sensed satellite images. In the course of experimenting with the three-dimensional topography generated by the combination of the orthopimage by the precise GCP and DEM from the contour line, the technology has been developed to offer the multi-dimensional access to the potential construction sites from the nearby main roads. This stereo image bird's eye view has made it possible to make multi-dimensional analysis on the terrain, which provides real-time virtual access to the designated construction sites and will be a versatile application for development planning and construction projects.
