Optimal Scheduling of Level 5 Electric Vehicle Chargers Based on Voltage Level

  • This study proposes a solution to the voltage drop in electric vehicle chargers, due to the parasitic resistance and inductance of power cables when the chargers are separated by large distances. A method using multi-level electric vehicle chargers that can output power in stages, without installing an additional energy supply source such as a reactive power compensator or an energy storage system, is proposed. The voltage drop over the power cables, to optimize the charging scheduling, is derived. The obtained voltage drop equation is used to formulate the constraints of the optimization process. To validate the effectiveness of the obtained results, an optimal charging scheduling is performed for each period in a case study based on the assumed charging demands of three connected chargers. From the calculations, the proposed method was found to generate an annual profit of $20,800 for a $12,500 increase in installation costs.

  • Defined is a Multi-level Parallel Machine Flow-Shop (MPMFS) which reflects some real world manufacturing situations. Just-In-Time (JIT) philosophy is applied to the MPMFS scheduling in order to achieve lowering work-in-process inventory level as well as meeting due dates. A schedule generating simulator is developed. The latest start time of each operation is determined by a backward simulation followed by another forward simulation to analyze the schedule feasibility and actual inventory level. Reasonable schedules are available through adjusting some parameters for allowance factors such as set-up times of machines and other environmental changes. The SLAMSYSTEM under Window is employed for this processing with some input/output data handling processes devised under DOS.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 멀티프로세서 디자인을 위한 상위 수준 합성 시스템의 회로 복잡도 최적화 ILP 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 상위수준 합성에서 가장 중요한 연산자의 특성과 데이터패스의 구조를 분석하고, 멀티사이클 연산의 스케줄링 시 가상연산자 개념을 도입함으로써, 멀티사이클 연산을 구현하는 연산자의 유형에 관계없이 공통으로 적용시킬 수 있는 ILP 알고리즘을 이용하여 증명하였다. 기술된 알고리즘의 스케줄링 성능을 평가하기 위하여, 표준벤치마크 모델인 5차 디지털 웨이브필터에 대한 스케줄링을 행한 결과, 기존의 데이터패스 스케줄링 결과와 정확하게 일치함으로서, 제시된 모든 ILP 수식이 정확하게 기술되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • A new technique using search method based on fuzzy multi-criteria function is proposed fur flexible generator maintenance scheduling. Minimization of probabilistic production cost, maximization of system reliability level and air pollution are considered fur fuzzy multi-criteria function. To obtain an optimal solution for generator maintenance scheduling under fuzzy environment fuzzy multi-criteria relaxation method(fuzzy search method) is used. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach are demonstrated by the simulation results of the real size model system of KEPCO-1997 SYSTEM.

  • The growing logistics strategy of a company is to optimize their vehicle route scheduling in their supply chain system. It is very important to analyze for continuous pickups and delivery vehicle scheduling. This paper is a computational study to investigate the effectiveness of continuous pickups and delivery vehicle routing problems. These scheduling problems have 3 subproblems; Inbound Vehicle Routing Problem with Makespan and Pickup, Line-haul Network Problem, and Outbound Vehicle Routing Problem with Delivery. In this paper, we propose 5 heuristic Algorithms; Selecting Routing Node, Routing Scheduling, Determining Vehicle Type with Number and Quantity, and Modification Selecting Routing Node. We apply these Algorithms to S vehicle company. The results of computational experiments demonstrate that proposed methods perform well and have better solutions than other methods considering the basic time and due-date.

다중 사용자 MIMO 시스템의 사용자 스케쥴링을 위한 동적 피드백 선택 기법 (Dynamic Feedback Selection Scheme for User Scheduling in Multi-user MIMO Systems)

  • 본 논문은 다중 사용자 MIMO 시스템에서 사용자 선택을 위해 필요한 precoding matrix index (PMI)/channel quality indication (CQI)의 보고 방식에 따른 성능을 분석한다. 이러한 분석을 통해 셀 내의 단말의 수, 선택되는 사용자의 수, 그리고 코드북(codebook)의 크기가 Best Companion Grouping (BCG)방식 스케쥴링의 성능에 복잡하게 영향을 미치는 것을 확인한다. 이에 따라 셀 내의 사용자 수와 코드북의 크기에 따라 동시에 스케쥴링 되는 사용자들의 그룹이 형성될 수 있는 확률이 달라지는 것을 확인할 수 있으며, 피드백 오버헤드가 주어졌을 때 이에 따라 피드백하는 PMI의 수와 사용하는 코드북의 크기를 적응적으로 선택함으로써 시스템의 평균 수율 성능을 최적화할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we present a reducing power consumption of a scheduling for module selection under the time constraint. Traditional high-level synthesis do not allow reuse of complex, realistic datapath component during the task of scheduling. On the other hand, the proposed scheduling of reducing power consumption is able to approach a productivity of the design the low power to reuse which given a library of user-defined datapath component and to share of resource sharing on the switching activity in a shared resource. Also, we are obtainable the optimal the scheduling result in experimental results of our approach various HLS benchmark environment using chaining and multi-cycling in the scheduling techniques..

Deadline Constrained Adaptive Multilevel Scheduling System in Cloud Environment

  • In cloud, everything can be provided as a service wherein a large number of users submit their jobs and wait for their services. hus, scheduling plays major role for providing the resources efficiently to the submitted jobs. The brainwave of the proposed ork is to improve user satisfaction, to balance the load efficiently and to bolster the resource utilization. Hence, this paper roposes an Adaptive Multilevel Scheduling System (AMSS) which will process the jobs in a multileveled fashion. The first level ontains Preprocessing Jobs with Multi-Criteria (PJMC) which will preprocess the jobs to elevate the user satisfaction and to itigate the jobs violation. In the second level, a Deadline Based Dynamic Priority Scheduler (DBDPS) is proposed which will ynamically prioritize the jobs for evading starvation. At the third level, Contest Mapping Jobs with Virtual Machine (CMJVM) is roposed that will map the job to suitable Virtual Machine (VM). In the last level, VM Scheduler is introduced in the two-tier VM rchitecture that will efficiently schedule the jobs and increase the resource utilization. These contributions will mitigate job iolations, avoid starvation, increase throughput and maximize resource utilization. Experimental results show that the performance f AMSS is better than other algorithms.
