Nonconstant Modulus 신호에서 NM-MMA 적응 등화 알고리즘의 성능 해석 (Performance Analysis of NM-MMA Adaptive Equalization Algorithm in Nonconstant Modulus Signal)

  • 본 논문에서는 nonconstant modulus 신호에서 기존 MMA 알고리즘의 수렴 속도를 개선하고 SE-MMA 알고리즘의 높은 MSE를 줄일 수 있는 NM-MMA (Novel Mixed-Multi Modulus Algorithm) 알고리즘을 제안하며, 이의 등화 성능을 해석하였다. NM-MMA에서는 비용 함수로서 기존 MMA와 SE-MMA 비용 함수의 gradient vector 를 적절한 가중치의 합으로 구성하여 탭 계수 갱신에 이용하므로서 수렴 속도와 MSE 성능을 개선할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 동일한 채널과 스텝 크기 및 신호대 잡음비를 적용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며 성능 해석을 위한 지수로는 등화기 출력 성상도, 잔류 isi, MSE와 SER을 적용하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션의 결과 제안 NM-MMA는 기존 MMA의 수렴 속도를 개선하고, SE-MMA보다 적은 MSE 성능과 SER 성능을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents results from analysis of architectural plan drawings of 355 elementary schools recently designed for 4 years. Theses plans are analyzed by factors such as local distribution, number of classes, type of plan, total construction area, area per a class, area per a student, and area status of each space. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental resources for architectural designing and planning of elementary schools through finding trend and status of elementary school buildings that have no detailed data of area index. The results of this study are as follows: 1. As a result from analyzing number of classes in the surveyed schools, schools having 36 classes are dominant and schools having 72 classes are also shown. Average number of classes is 34.1. This result reflect s that elementary schools have been planned as large-scale schools. 2. In terms of type of plan, we found out that instead of disappearing traditional single corridor type building, the open school building that have multi-purpose spaces are mainly designed. In addition to that, there are few schools with large class rooms. 3. In the status of area of each school, they have much larger areas than areas provided by building guidelines. Secondly, there are some schools with two times area difference even though they have same class number. Therefore, it needs to adjust the school building guidelines to practical needs in the consideration of elementary school building for compulsory education. Though the plans of recently designed school for 4 year s are more differentiated than past, there are few schools planned by appropriate plan design and area distribution scheme. As a consequence, some improvements like improvement of building guidelines are desperate.

Sapphire Glass 기반 다층박막 터치패널구조의 광학특성 연구 (A Study on the Optical Characteristics of Multi-Layer Touch Panel Structure on Sapphire Glass)

  • A conductive oxide-based sapphire glass indium tin oxide/metal electrode and the optical coating, through patterning process was studied in excellent optical properties and integrated touch panel has a high strength. Indium tin oxide conductive oxides of the sapphire glass to 0.3 A at DC magnetron sputtering method of 10 min, gas flow Ar 10 Sccm Ar, $O_2$ 1.0 Sccm the formation conditions of the thin film after annealing at $550^{\circ}C$ for 30min was achieved through a 86% transmittance. In addition, the coating 130 nm hollow silica sol-gel was to improve the optical transmittance of the indium tin oxide to 91%. For the measurement by the modeling hollow silica sol by Macleod simulation and calculated the average values of silica part to the presence or absence in analogy to actual. Refractive index value and the actual value of the material on the simulation the transmittance difference is it does not completely match the air region similar to the actual value (transmission) could be confirmed that the measurement is set to a value of between 5 nm and 10 nm.

MFFM System을 이용한 손가락 별 파지 폭들의 변화에 따른 악력 및 개인 선호도에 대한 연구 (Research of Grip Forces and Subjective Preferences for Various Individual Finger Grip Spans by using an )

  • Individual finger/total grip forces, and subjective preferences for various individual finger grip spans (i.e., four fingers had identical grip spans or different grip spans) were evaluated by using an "Adjustable Multi-Finger Force Measurement (MFFM) System". In this study, three grip spans were defined as follows: a 'favorite grip span' which is the span with the highest subjective preference; a 'maximum grip span' which is the span with the highest total grip force; a 'maximum finger grip span' which is a set of four grip spans that had maximum finger grip forces associated with the index, middle, ring, and little fingers, respectively. Ten males were recruited from university population for this study. In experiment I, each participant tested the maximum grip force with five grip spans (45 to 65mm) to investigate grip forces and subjective preferences for three types of grip spans. Results showed that subjective preferences for grip spans were not coincidence with the performance of total grip forces. It was noted that the 'favorite grip span' represented the lowest total grip force, whereas the 'maximum finger grip span' showed the lowest subjective preferences. The individual finger forces and the average percentage contribution to the total finger force were also investigated in this study. The findings of this study might be valuable information for designing ergonomics hand-tools to reduce finger/hand stress as well as to improve tool users' preferences and performance.

간호사 노동시장의 구조분석 및 병원 간호사 확보수준의 결정요인 (Structure of Nurse Labor Market and Determinants of Hospital Nurse Staffing Levels)

  • Purpose: To analyze the structure of Korean nurse labor market and examine its effect on hospital nurse staffing. Methods: Secondary data were obtained from Statistics Korea, Education Statistics, and Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service and Patient Survey. Intensity of monopsony in the nurse labor market was measured by Herfindahl Hirshman Index (HHI). Hospital nurse staffing level was divided into high and low. While controlling for confounding factors such as inpatient days and severity mix of patients, effects of characteristics of nurse labor markets on nurse staffing levels were examined using multi-level logistic regressions. Results: For characteristics of nurse labor markets, metropolitan areas had high intensity of monopsony, while the capital area had competitive labor market and the unemployed nurse rate was higher than other areas. Among hospital characteristics, bed occupancy rate was significantly associated with nurse staffing levels. Among characteristics of nurse labor markets, the effect of HHI was indeterminable. Conclusion: The Korean nurse labor market has different structure between the capital and other metropolitan areas. But the effect of the structure of nurse labor market on nurse staffing levels is indeterminable. Characteristics such as occupancy rate and number of beds are significantly associated with nurse staffing levels. Further study in support of the effect of nurse labor market is needed.

Fuzzy-AHP에 기반을 둔 벤처기업의 기술력 평가 모델 (Fuzzy-AHP-Based Technology Evaluation Model for venture firms)

  • 벤처기업의 기술혁신을 위한 기술력 평가는 급변하는 기업환경, 평가시 사용하는 언어의 모호성과 애매성, 평가지표의 부정확성을 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 벤처기업의 대표적인 정성적 평가요인인 흡수역량 및 기술적 기업가정신을 대상으로 다기준 의사결정법인 Fuzzy-AHP를 적용하여 요인의 중요도와 우선순위 및 동적역량을 산출하는 ACTEM(Absorption Capacity and Technology Entrepreneurship Monitor) 모델을 제안하였다. 평가척도가 되는 요인에 대한 가중치 산출은 퍼지이론을 도입하여 인지적 판단의 애매성을 보완하고, 기존의 기술력 평가 측정에 관한 연구에서 고려하지 않은 흡수역량과 기술적 기업가정신 및 동적역량에 대한 평가 기준들을 제시함으로써, 현실적인 대안을 선택하는 것이 가능하도록 하였다. ACTEM 모델을 기존의 AHP 평가방법과 비교한 결과, 흡수역량에서는 '지식획득', 기술적 기업가 정신에서는 '제품화 능력'이 가장 높게 나오는 등의 타당성을 검증할 수 있었다.

다점포 운영 푸드서비스 기업의 효율성 측정에 관한 연구 - DEA 및 효율, 수익 매트릭스 분석을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of Contract-Foodservice Operational Efficiency using Data Envelopment Analysis and Efficiency-Profit Matrix)

  • The research aimed to measure the efficiency of using multi stores in a foodservice company using by DEA (data envelopment analysis) which is a new management science technique. The study also attempted to identify relevant variables affecting DEA efficiency in order to suggest methods for improving efficiency. The data were collected from 148 contract foodservice operations, which were operated in similar fashion in October 2009. The DEA efficiency was calculated as an output-oriented BCC Model. Sales, and CSI (customer satisfaction index) were used as output variables whereas food cost, labor cost, and management expense were used as input variables to calculate the DEA efficiency. Operation process variables of the unit consisted of the were consist of ratio of regular employee, ratio of housekeeper, meal counts, meal price, food cost per meal, contract period, number of menu items, forecasting accuracy, order accuracy, inventory turnover, use of processed food, deviation of food cost, number of new menus, and number of events. According to the BCC score and profitability, units were classified into four groups: High efficiency-high profitability (HEHP), High efficiency-low profitability (HELP), Low efficiency-high profitability (LEHP), and Low efficiency-low profitability (LELP). The HEHP group contained 54 units, which mostly contracted management fee type and had a high meal price. The units were also very large and, served three meals. Twenty of the units were operated with high labor cost: most of these were factories and hospitals. The LEHP group contained 20 units, that were mainly office stores of large scale and medium price. Fifty-four LELP group had a low meal price. A high performance group must have high efficiency, profitability, and satisfaction. The BCC score was over 0.969, the meal price was over 4,116 won, the food cost was over 2,077 won, and meal counts per month were over 10,212 meals.

Optimal Location of FACTS Devices Using Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization Hybrid with Simulated Annealing

  • This paper describes a new stochastic heuristic algorithm in engineering problem optimization especially in power system applications. An improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) called adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO), mixed with simulated annealing (SA), is introduced and referred to as APSO-SA. This algorithm uses a novel PSO algorithm (APSO) to increase the convergence rate and incorporate the ability of SA to avoid being trapped in a local optimum. The APSO-SA algorithm efficiency is verified using some benchmark functions. This paper presents the application of APSO-SA to find the optimal location, type and size of flexible AC transmission system devices. Two types of FACTS devices, the thyristor controlled series capacitor (TCSC) and the static VAR compensator (SVC), are considered. The main objectives of the presented method are increasing the voltage stability index and over load factor, decreasing the cost of investment and total real power losses in the power system. In this regard, two cases are considered: single-type devices (same type of FACTS devices) and multi-type devices (combination of TCSC, SVC). Using the proposed method, the locations, type and sizes of FACTS devices are obtained to reach the optimal objective function. The APSO-SA is used to solve the above non.linear programming optimization problem for better accuracy and fast convergence and its results are compared with results of conventional PSO. The presented method expands the search space, improves performance and accelerates to the speed convergence, in comparison with the conventional PSO algorithm. The optimization results are compared with the standard PSO method. This comparison confirms the efficiency and validity of the proposed method. The proposed approach is examined and tested on IEEE 14 bus systems by MATLAB software. Numerical results demonstrate that the APSO-SA is fast and has a much lower computational cost.

잠수함의 Conning Tower 위치 및 제어판 형태에 따른 동적 안정성 분석 (Dynamic Stability Analysis of a Submarine by Changing Conning Tower Position and Control Planes)

  • 본 논문에서는 수중운동체 중 하나인 잠수함의 코닝타워(Conning tower) 위치 및 제어판 형태에 따라 4가지 타입별로 나누어 회전팔 시험(Rotating arm test)을 실시하였다. 또한 본 RA 시험을 통하여 유체력 미계수를 추정하였으며 수평면 운동에 대한 동적 안정성(Dynamic stability)을 평가하였다. 특히, 자유수면의 영향으로부터 자유로운 심도비(Depth ratio) 6.0에서 힘과 모멘트를 측정한 후, 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 유체력 미계수를 추정하였다. 최종적으로 선형유체력 미계수를 이용한 수평면 동적 안정성 지수를 산정함으로써 잠수함 타입별 특성이 동적 안정성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

서울시 소지역 건강불평등에 관한 연구 : 지역박탈에 대한 재해석 (Health Inequality of Local Area in Seoul : Reinterpretation of Neighborhood Deprivation)

  • 본 연구는 건강을 설명하는 지역 박탈 지표를 선별하고 이러한 지표들이 근린사회의 인구구성효과와 구분되는 독립적인 맥락효과를 지니는지 검증해 보았다. 이를 위하여 서울시를 대상으로 행정동 단위의 표준화사망비를 산출하여 소지역 건강불평등 실태를 분석하였고, 표준화사망비 격차를 설명하는 지역박탈 지표들을 선정하였다. 그리고 다수 준 모형을 통해 개인의 사회경제적 지위를 통제한 후 지역박탈 효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과는 건강불평등의 지역 격차가 대부분 사회경제적 지위 요인을 반영할 뿐이며, 거주지 지역사회의 독립된 맥락효과는 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 분석에서 행정동별 표준화사망비 분포가 취약근린지수의 분포와 유사하고 더 나아가 공시지가, 하위교육수준, 복지수급자 비율, 여성가구주 가구의 개별 지표 분포와 유사한 패턴을 보이고 있는 것으로 나타나 전반적으로 인구집단의 취약성을 반영하는 것으로 보인다. 반면 빈곤 지역이 내생적으로 형성하는 건강문화나 보건의료접근성 등의 가능한 매개 요인들의 가능성은 인구 구성에 따른 빈곤과 결핍보다 상대적으로 저조할 것으로 보인다. 즉 건강의 지역별 격차는 다름 아닌 계층간 격차로 해석될 수 있다.
