  • This paper describes an implementation of inverse filter using SVD in order to recover the input in multi-channel system. The matrix formulation in SISO system is extended to MIMO system. In time and frequency domain we investigates the inversion of minimum phase system and non-minimum phase system. To execute an effective inversion of non-minimum phase system, SVD is introduced. First of all we computes singular values of system matrix and then investigates the phase property of system. In case of overall system is non-minimum phase, system matrix has one (or more) very small singular value(s). The very small singular value(s) carries information about phase properties of system. Using this property, approximate inverse filter of overall system is founded. The numerical simulation shows potentials in use of the inverse filter.

  • The physical model considered here is a horizontal layer of fluid heated below and cooled above with a periodic array of evenly spaced square cylinders placed at the center of the layer, whose aspect ratio here varies from unity to twelve. Periodic boundary condition is employed along the horizontal direction to allow for lateral freedom for the convection cells. Two-dimensional solution for unsteady natural convection is obtained using an accurate and efficient Chebyshev spectral multi-domain methodology for a given Rayleigh numbers of $10^{6}$.

  • This Paper Presents an effective and simple procedure for the simulation of the motion of the solid-liquid interfacial boundary and the transient temperature field during phase change process. To accomplish this purpose, an iterative implicit solution algorithm has been developed by employing the dual reciprocity boundary element method. The dual reciprocity boundary element approach provided in this paper is much simpler than the usual boundary element method applying a reciprocity principle and an available technique for dealing with domain integral of boundary element formulation simultaneously. The effectiveness of the present analysis method have been illustrated through comparisons of the calculation results of an example with its semi-analytical or other numerical solutions where available.

  • The Conventional time-domain simulation of transient stability requires iterative calculation procedures to consider the saliency of generator. Recently, a non-iterative algorithm has successfully developed to take into account the generator saliency exactly with the use of $E_q'$-model. This study proposes an extended non-iterative algorithm by adopting the two-axis generator model. Given internal voltages and rotor angles of the generators, network voltages and generator currents can be directly calculated by solving a linear algebraic equation, which enables us to reduce the computation time remarkably.

  • The structure of MMSE receiver front-ended by CMA(Constant Modulus Array) array working in CDMA forward link which is applicable to LEO spread spectrum satellite communication system is proposed. By using the despreaded pilot signal of forward link as a reference signal, the CMA array can capture multi-path signals securely even in severely faded LEO satellite channel. The remaining MAI (Multiple Access Interference) is cancelled by the cascaded MMSE receiver. Besides theoretical development, through relevant computer simulation, it is proved that the proposed system shows much better BER performance than any other possible candidate systems. As a spatio-temporal receiver mounted on a mobile vehicle, the proposed system also reduces implemental cost and complexity by adopting the simplest algorithm for its spatial and temporal domain processing.

  • This paper describes a new approach to Internet host mobility. We argue that local mobility, the performance of existing mobile host protocol can be significantly improved. It proposes Fast Moving Detection schemethat based on neighbor AP channel information and moving detection table. And, it composes Local Area Clustering Path (LACP) domain that collected in AP's channel information and MN interface information. It stored the roaming table to include channel information and moving detection. Those which use the proposal scheme will need to put LACP information into the beacon or probe frame. Each AP uses scheme to inform available channel information to MN. From the simulation result, we show that the proposed scheme is advantageous over the legacy schemes in terms of theburst blocking probability and the link utilization.

  • This paper proposes a novel circulating current control method for an MMC-HVDC system based on Vector PI control. The method can suppress second-order harmonics of the circulating currents under balanced and unbalanced grid conditions. The proposed method is robust to grid frequency variation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through frequency response and time domain simulation.

  • The physical model considered here is a horizontal layer of fluid heated below and cold above with heat-generating conducting body placed at the center of the layer. The dimensionless thermal conductivities of body considered in the present study are 0.01, 1 and 150. The dimensionless temperature difference ratios considered are 0.25, 2.5 and 25. Two-dimensional solution for unsteady natural convection is obtained using an accurate and efficient Chebyshev spectral methodology for variety of Rayleigh number from $10^{3}\;to\;10^{6}.$ Multi-domain technique is used to handle square- shaped heat-generating conducting body. The results for the case of conducting body with heat generation are also compared to those without heat generation.

  • This paper discusses the processing of the wind loads measured in wind tunnel tests by means of multi-channel pressure scanners, in order to compute the response of 3D structures to atmospheric turbulence in the time domain. Data compression and the resulting computational savings are still a challenge in industrial contexts due to the multiple trial configurations during the construction stages. The advantage and robustness of the bi-orthogonal decomposition (BOD) is demonstrated through an example, a sail glass of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, independently from any tentative physical interpretation of the spatio-temporal decomposition terms. We show however that the energy criterion for the BOD has to be more rigorous than commonly admitted. We find a level of 99.95 % to be necessary in order to recover the extreme values of the loads. Moreover, frequency limitations of wind tunnel experiments are sometimes encountered in passing from the scaled model to the full scale structure. These can be alleviated using a spectral extension of the temporal function terms of the BOD.
