This Study attempts to analysis the degrees of the efficiency of fisheries marketing channel's effectiveness, which are traditional marketing channel's effectiveness of fisheries wholesale markets and Discount Store's effectiveness such as margin, marketing performance. The study methodologies include not only a field sample survey but also a field interview. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, at the numbers of fisheries marketing channel's margin factors, traditional marketing channel's margin factors are more than discount store's margin factors. Secondly, at the comparative study result of marketing channel margin efficiency, traditional marketing channel's prices are similar to discount store's prices. That is, consumers have bought similar retail price's seafood products through traditional marketing channels as well as discount stores cannels. Finally, however most consumers prefer discount stores to traditional retail stores because of discount store's multi-functions such as assortment of goods, freshness, exchange, refund and employee's kindness. In conclusion, the most important factor of fisheries marketing management is to realize the appropriate balance between marketing margin and consumer satisfaction.
With the advent of the various device types and marketing communication, customer's search and purchase behavior have become more complex and segmented. However, extant research on multichannel marketing effects of the purchase funnel has not reflected the specific features of device User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). In this study, we analyzed the marketing channel effects of multi-device shoppers using a unique click stream dataset from global online retailers. We examined device types that activate online shopping and compared the differences between marketing channels that promote visits. In addition, we estimated the direct and indirect effects on visits and purchase revenue through customer's accumulated experience and channel conversions. The findings indicate that the same customer selects a different marketing channel according to the device selection. These results can help retailers gain a better understanding of customers' decision-making process in multi-marketing channel environment and devise the optimal strategy taking into account various device types. Our empirical analyses yield business implications based on the significant results from global big data analytics and contribute academically meaningful theoretical framework using an economic model. We also provide strategic insights attributed to the practical value of an online marketing manager.

Conventional marketing research generally focuses on a single layer's benefit. A notable example is the consumer layer providing managers with partial market information to evaluate relevant strategies. As generally known, marketing management encounters complex supply and demand behaviors, thereby necessitation that a successful marketing strategy adopt multi-layer considerations, such as the consumer layer, channel-retailer layer, and marketing planner layer. In light of above situation, this study applies fuzzy theory and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) technique to analyze the performances of marketing strategies under multi-layer benefits, In addition, conventional marketing research has difficulty in efficiently allocating the limited budget so that each desired criterion can be significantly enhanced by a group of events. Therefore, a weighting structure among the goal, layers, criteria, and strategies(i.e. a group of events) is also developed herein to trace the influential process and assist marketing managers in efficiently allocating resources(i.e.budget).
Purpose - The overarching aim of this study is to empirically test the effect of ex-post control mechanisms on multi-dimensional trust and channel performance in franchise systems. Although the franchise system is a vertical marketing channel based on trust between the franchisor and the franchisees, issues related to franchisee's opportunistic behavior have persisted and thus requires research into the effective control system of franchise headquarters. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, data was collected from 150 franchises to identify the effect of two types of franchising headquarters' control system on the multi-dimensional trust and franchise channel outcome between franchisor and franchisee. To test the hypotheses intended to achieve this aim, structural equations modeling technique is utilized. Results - The results of this research reveal that among the two formal control systems studied (output and process control), output control positively and significantly affects multidimensional trust. Additionally, among the three dimensions of trust employed in this study, only expertise has a positive and significant effect on contract compliance. Equally, only expertise and integrity have a negative and significant effect on opportunistic behavior. Conclusions - The study provides managerial and theoretical insights into understanding ex-post control mechanisms, trust, compliance and opportunistic behaviors in franchise systems.
This research analyzed multi-channel strategy from the viewpoint of the customer relationship management. We hypothesized that the purchase frequency, monetary, purchase quantity of the existing customers should have increased after they used multiple channels of a company for shopping, All the hypothesis were supported in an empirical test using the customer database of a Korean TV home-shopping company, The result showed that the multi-channel strategy can be used to increase the life-time value of existing customers. Still there were a lot of customers who insists using traditional channel, which calls for a new strategy inducing them to use multi- channel for shopping.

Since the 1960s in Korea, major broadcasting channels broadcasted farm television programs, however, airing of these programs were reduced in the 1990s. This was due to the declining number of farmers, and the low popularity rating of farm television programs. To cope with the situation, agriculture businessmen, farmers, and the officials concerned tried to acquire the independent farming television channel in cable television and satellite television, In 1998, one cable television channel started broadcasting, while another channel in satellite television began its broadcasting in 2001. One of the major concerns of the people in the broadcasting was actualization of the public interests in the new media multi-channel age. Recognizing this point, the study explored a few areas of concern such as conceptualizations of the public interest of the people in the digital age, examination of the surroundings of program production and marketing, and survey the media use behavior of target audience - rural residents; In the concept of the public interest, there are two points of view; market focused and democratic principle oriented. As the digitalization of broadcast advances and the logic of economics prevails, it is difficult to offer the public broadcasting service to farmers, however, democratic principles should be more emphasized. The rural resident prefer major terrestrial television channel to cable television and satellite television channel, and in media use behavior, the medium of major terrestrial television would be more useful for farm broadcasting.
This paper explores the influence of pursuing goals on customer channel preference in Chinese rural market. With the rapid change in distribution channels and increase in multi-channels, it is necessary to understand the preference for channel choice as well as product choice. This study empirically validated the conceptual framework of the relationship between the pursuing goals and customer channel choice proposed by Balasubramanian, Raghunathan, and Mahajan (2005). Based on the survey data of 232 fertilizer customers in Chinese rural market, this study explores how economic, social, and psychological pursuing goals can impact customer channel preference by mediating variables of product utility and process utility. The results indicate that pursuing goals positively related with product utility and process utility, and product / process utility can mediate the relationship between pursuing goals and customer channel preference positively. Consequently, we can conclude that customers' economic-social-psychological pursuing goals can directly influence customer channel preference via their purchase process utility and product utility. This result also implies that product utility is effective on process utility during consumer's buying decision making, and process utility and product utility are not mutually independent. Therefore, purchase process utility is a "latent driving force" on customer's channel choice decision.
Market segmentation has been an important issue in marketing for a long time. Many models and statistical methods have been developed by many scholars. The purpose of this research provides one insight for market segmentation based on clustering technique in channel benefit sought. We proposed a sequential approach in market segmentation. A sequential approach means that we do market segmentation by multi-stage method based on the benefits sought in marketing channel. To achieve this approach, we divided the main benefits sought into subcategories. That is to say, after dividing each benefit sought into more detailed concepts, we did market segmentation sequentially.

This study investigated consumers' multi-channel behavior for fashion product purchases and compared perceived risks by channel type. A survey involving male and female college students was conducted in the Daegu and Gyungbuk area in December 2013. A total of 400 responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square analysis, independent sample t-test, paired t-test, factor analysis, and reliability analysis. An internet shopping mall was the most frequently chosen retailer type for fashion product purchases and information searches. In addition, respondents also preferred independent branded stores, department stores, and non-branded stores. The number of retailer types for clothing item purchases ranged from 1 to 6 and the average was 3.06. The number of retailer types was significantly higher in women groups according to gender variables. Perceived risk had the highest evaluation score for internet shopping malls. Department stores were recognized as a reliable retailer type. The construct of perceived risk was shown as similar in off-line stores such as department stores, independent branded stores, and non-branded stores. Instead, the construct was differentiated from the case of internet shopping malls. Some insightful suggestions were suggested for future research and industrial marketing plans based on the results.
As the mobile telecommunications industry in Korea boasts record-high revenue from its businesses, consumers and other industries are looking for new business applications and opportunities using mobile technologies. Many firms are seeking guidelines or business models for an effective use of this new mobile technology in their operations. This paper reviews the characteristics that distinguish mobile marketing, and analyzes marketing approaches which utilize the potential of the new mobile technologies. This paper shows that the new mobile advertising channel is not only complementary to traditional marketing channels, but also delivers benefits for multiple parties involved in mobile marketing. The key success factors in the new OB (Oriental Brewery) marketing campaign include a shortening of the stages in the AIDMA model and a broadening of customer contact points by exposing the brand through well-coordinated marketing efforts. The OB case shows that a mutually beneficial relationship between co-marketing participants can lead to a win-win marketing strategy. It also highlights that collaborative channel management in mobile marketing methodology is critical for successful mobile marketing.
