This study aims to evaluate the performance of an electric multi-purpose cultivator through a simulation analysis. The simulation model was developed using commercial software, Simulation X, by applying the specifications of certain parts, such as an electric motor, a battery, and so on. The input parameter of the simulation was the engine load data according to the rotary tillage level using a conventional multi-purpose cultivator. The data were collected by configuring a load measurement system, and the load cycle was developed by repeating the data collection process under the most severe conditions. The average output engine torque values of conventional multi-purpose cultivator were 10.7, 13.0, 9.4, and 11.2 Nm in the D1P1, D1P2, D2P1, and D2P2 conditions, respectively. As a result of the simulation, the maximum values of the motor torque, rotational speed, and power of the electric multi-purpose cultivator were 16.8 Nm, 2,033.3 rpm, and 3.3 kW, respectively, and the motor was driven in sections within 70, 68, and 45% of the maximum output range. The rate of decrease of the battery state of charge (SOC) level per minute was approximately 0.6%, and it was possible to supply electric power to the motor for 9,550 sec. In the future study, research to verify and improve simulation models of electric multi-purpose cultivators should be conducted.

As the use of mobile devices increase, there is public interest in the utilization of the human motion generated mechanical energy. The human motion generated mechanical energies vary depending on the body region, type of motion, etc., and an appropriate device has to be designed to utilize them effectively. In this work, a device based on the principles of triboelectric generation and inertia was assessed in order to utilize the multi-axial mechanical energies generated by human motions. To improve the output performance we confirm the changes in the output that vary with the structural design, the reasons for such changes, and variations in performance based on the parts of the human body. In addition, the level of electrical energy generated based on motion type was measured; a maximum voltage of 30 V and a current of 2 ㎂ were generated. Finally, the proposed device was utilized in LEDs used for lighting, thus demonstrating that multi-axial mechanical energies can be harvested effectively. Based on the results, we expect that the developed device can be utilized as a sensor to detect mechanical energies, to sense changes in motion, or as a generator for auxiliary power supply for mobile devices.

A 1.25 GHz multi-phase phase-rotating PLL is proposed for oversampling CDR applications and implemented with a low power and small area. Eight equidistant clock phases are simultaneously adjusted by the phase interpolator inside the PLL. The phase interpolator uses only two complementary clocks from a VCO, but it can cover the whole range of phase from $0^{\circ}$ to $360^{\circ}$ with the help of a PFD timing controller. The output clock phases are digitally adjusted with the resolution of 25 ps and both INL and DNL are less than 0.44 LSB. The proposed PLL was implemented using a 110 nm CMOS technology. It consumes 3.36 mW from 1.2 V supply and occupies $0.047mm^2$. The $jitter_{rms}$ and $jitter_{pk-pk}$ of the output clock are 1.91 ps and 18 ps, respectively.
In this paper, a flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) integrated with a voltage-controlled voltage source inverter(VC-VSI) is proposed. The suggested equipment, which consists of a flux-lock type SFCL and a VCVSI, can perform the fault current limiting operation from the occurrence of a short-circuit. In addition, it can compensate the reactive power that the non-linear load requires and also perform the uninterruptible power supply(UPS) as well as the load voltage stabilization by controlling the amplitude and the phase of the inverter's output voltage. The specification for a test model was determined and its various functions such as the fault current limiting and the power conditioning operations were presented and analyzed via computer simulation. Through the analytical results based on the computer simulation, the validity of the analysis was confirmed and its multi-operation was discussed.

In the near future, the voltage of power system for passenger vehicle will be changed to 42V from existing 14V./ Because of increasing power and voltage ratings used in the vehicle the motor drive system has high switching dv/dt and it generates electromagnetic interference (EMI) To solve these problems multi-level inverter system may be used The feature of multi-level inverter is the output voltage to be synthesized from several levels of voltage Because of this feature high switching dv/dt and EMI can be reduced in the multi-level inverter system But as the number of level is increased manufacturing cost is getting expensive and system size is getting large. Because of these disadvantages the application of multi-level inverter has been restricted only to high power drives. The method to reduce manufacturing cost and system size is to integrate circuit of multi-level inverter into a few chips But isolated power supply and signal isolation circuit using transformer or opto-coupler for drive circuit are obstacles to implement the integrated circuit (IC) In this paper a drive circuit of 4-level inverter suitable for integration to hybrid or one chip is proposed In the proposed drive circuit DC link voltage is used directly as the power source of each gate drive circuit NPN transistors and PNP transistors are used to isolate to transfer the control signals. So the proposed drive circuit needs no transformers and opto-couplers for electrical isolation of drive circuit and is constructed only using components to be implemented on a silicon wafer With th e proposed drive circuit 4- level inverter system will be possible to be implemented through integrated circuit technology Using the proposed drive circuit 4- level inverter system is constructed and the validity and characteristics of the proposed drive circuit are proved through the experiments.
A DC-DC converter is being widely used for various household appliances and for industry applications. The DC-DC converter is powered from single battery, and the voltage is varied according to the purpose. In the vehicle, various accessories whose electric power is different are being used. Thus, plural number of DC-DC converter should be provided, so these situations bring complicated circuits, and accordingly, higher cost. Under such backgrounds, in this paper, we propose a novel buck-boost chopper circuit with simply configuration which can supply to two or more different output loads. The propose chewer circuit can control output voltages by controlling duty ratio by using typically two switching devices, which is composed by single boost-switch and single buck-switch. The output voltage can be controlled widely. A few modified circuits developed from the fundamental circuit are represented including the general multi-load circuit. And all this merits and appropriateness was proved by computer simulation and experience.
A multi-phase interleaved buck converter is used to reduce current ripples and filter size of a power supply. This paper addresses the modelling and steady-state analysis of the multi-phase interleaved buck converter operated in discontinuous inductor current mode. The model is derived using an averaging technique in steady state. The do voltage ratio and the range of the discontinuous inductor current mode(DICM) and the continuous output current mode(COCM) are derived from the averaged state-space model. In addition, the efficiency is investigated according to the number of phase.
This paper proposes a new configuration of 36-pulse voltage source converter which consists of two 6-pulse bridges and a pulse-interleaving auxiliary circuit. The system topology of proposed converter was derived to increase the pulse number of converter output voltage without increasing the number of 6-pulse bridges. The gate pulse generation was analyzed using the theoretical approach of multi-pulse switching converter, The operational feasibility of proposed system was verified by computer simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC software and experimental works with 2kVA hardware prototype. The proposed converter can be widely used for the uninterruptible power supply, the power quality compensator, and the distributed power generation, such as solar and fuel cell power system.

The KOMAC(KOrea Multi-purpose Accelerator Complex) linac is composed of RFQ(Radio Frequency Quadrupole), CCDTL(Coupled Cavity Drift Tube Linac) and SC(Superconducting)-linac. The required CW output power of RF system is about 25㎿ for 20㎿ proton beam power. Therefore high power RF sources are necessary for cost saving and reliability improvement. The number of klystrons for 0.5 ㎿ at 350MHz and 1 ㎿ at 700MHz are 1 and 31, respectively. In this paper, the design parameters of the klystron system including power supply and energy recovery system are presented.
