  • In this paper, a multi-adaptive filter is proposed for removing EOG and the 60 Hz power supply noise from EEG measured in the frontal lobe and the feedback output control method is implemented for biofeedback. The multi-adaptive filter has been implemented on the TMS320C6711 DSP system and the feedback output control algorithm has been realized by calculating the ratio of alpha wave on the TMS320C31 DSP system with real time performance. Through the experiment using the implemented multi-adaptive filter and feedback output controller, we demonstrate that the proposed adaptive filter effectively removes EOG and the 60 Hz power supply noise from the measured EEG in the frontal lobe and the feedback algorithm controls the level of stimulation by the ratio of the alpha wave.

  • The power supply for the anti-aircraft radar homing sensor should allow the system to receive power quickly and stably without the influence of noise. For this purpose, DC-DC converters are widely used for reliable power conversion. Also, switching of DC-DC converters Frequency noise should not cause false alarms and ghosts that may affect the detection and tracking performance of the system, and it should have a check function that can monitor power in real time while the homing sensor is operating. In order to apply to anti-aircraft radar homing sensor, we developed a multi-output switching power supply with maximum output 𐩒𐩒𐩒 W, efficiency 80% or more (@100% load), output power by receiving 28VDC input, and power supply to achieve more than 80% efficiency. A DC-DC converter was applied to this large output, and the multi-output flyback method was applied to the rest of the low-power output.

  • This paper describes a design and implementation of the practical SMPS(Switched Mode Power Supply) with multi-output independent regulation scheme. The designed SMPS is applied to the PSU(Power Supply Unit) of high power GTO drivers for a inverter system. In order to accomplish precise voltage regulations for both turn-on and turn-off bias voltages of the GTO driver, the conventional forward type PWM converter scheme is adopted with the Post Regulator using a Saturable Reactor. Analytic design criteria and control schemes are described for practical applications. Finally, the precise regulation of multi-output voltages is proved by experimental results.

  • In this paper, a 20W class multi-output QR flyback converter for auxiliary power supply was designed to stabilize 4 output voltages, and the efficiency and load characteristics were compared and analyzed. It was checked if each output affects other output characteristics through experiment. As a result, the experimental circuit reached a high efficiency of 82.5% or more at a load power of over 20W, and the maximum power loss was 2.6W. Consequently, it was confirmed that all of 4 output voltages of the multi-output QR flyback converter constructed in this paper were stabilized within 0.5% in full-load range, and each output was independently controlled in an electrically isolated state.

  • This paper describes a hybrid multi-output three-level DC/DC converter suitable for a wide, high-input voltage range of an auxiliary power supply for a high-power photovoltaic generating system. In a high-power photovoltaic generating system, the solar panel output voltage depends on solar radiation quantity and varies from 450Vdc to 1100Vdc. The proposed hybrid multi-output three-level DC/DC converter, which is an auxiliary power supply, would be used as power source for control printed circuit boards and relay and cooling fans in a high-power photovoltaic generating system. The proposed multi-output ($24V_{DC}/30A$, $230V_{DC}/5A$) hybrid three-level boost converter, which uses an energy recovery snubber, is controlled by variable-frequency and phase-shifted modulations and can achieve zero-voltage switching with all operating conditions of input voltage and load range. Experimental results of a 2kW prototype are evaluated and implemented to verify the performance of the proposed converter.

  • A small millimeter-wave tracking radar power supply must provide stable power with minimal ripple noise and the switching frequency noise of the DC-DC converter must have a real-time self-test capability through on-the-fly monitoring without causing false alarms and ghost In this study, we developed a multi-output switching power supply with output power of more than 80% (@ 100% load) and 10 output power by adopting + 28VDC input for application to small millimeter wave tracking radar, DC-DC converter is applied for large power output and multi-output flyback method is applied for the remaining small power output. The test results show that 85% efficiency efficiency is achieved under 100% load condition.

  • This paper proposes a novel control method for a multi-output switched-resonant converter. Output voltage can be regulated against variations in the supply voltage and load by controlling the voltage of the resonant capacitor (pulse amplitude control). Precise control is possible when pulse amplitude control is combined with pulse number control. The converter is analyzed, and design considerations are explained by using examples. Control implementation is described and load regulation and ripples are analyzed by simulation and hardware results. The topology is modified to obtain an additional negative output without any additional hardware other than a diode. The analysis of such a triple output converter with two positive outputs and one negative output is conducted and confirmed. The topology and control scheme are scalable to any number of outputs.

  • The author present a modified multi-loop algorithm including feedforward for controlling a 55kW step down chopper in the power supply of Maglev. The control law for the duty cycle consists of three terms. The first is the feedforward term. which compensates for variations in the input voltaga. The second term consists of the difference between the slowly moving inductor current and output current. The third term consists of proportional and integral terms involving the perturbation in the output voltage. This perturvation is derived by subtracting the desired output voltage from the actual output voltage. The proportional and integral action stabilizes the system and minimizes output voltage error. In order to verify the validity of the proposed multi-loop controller, simulation study was tried using Matlab simulink

  • In this paper, An Automatic Synchronous Switch Post Regulator for Multi-Output Flyback Converter is proposed. The proposed circuit is composed simply using a new automatic synchronous switch instead of conventional complex Switch Post Regulator owing to difficulty of drive circuit materialization and synchronization between main output and auxiliary output. By using the proposed circuit, we can make simple and inexpensive Multi-Output Converter with variable and accurate output voltage and proved adequacy of proposed circuit through experiment, simulation and theoretical analysis.

  • A DC/DC converter generally needs to work under high switching frequency when used as an adjustable power supply to reduce the size of magnetic elements such as inductors, transformers and capacitors, but with the rising of the switch frequency, the switch losses will increase and the efficiency will reduce. Recently, to solve these problems, research is actively being done on a soft switching method that can be applied under high frequency and on a PWM converter that can be applied under low frequency such as a multi-level topology. In this paper a novel DC-DC conversion method for reducing the ripple of output voltage is proposed. In the proposed converter, buck converters are connected in series to generate the output voltage. By using this method, the ripple of output voltage can be reduced compared to a conventional buck converter. Particularly when output voltage is low, the number of acting switching elements is less and the result of ripple reduction is more obvious. It is expected that the converter proposed in this paper could be very useful in the case of wide-range output voltage.
