다물체 동역학 시뮬레이션 기반 5MW급 해상풍력발전시스템의 상부구조물에 대한 동적 응답 해석 (Dynamic Response Analysis for Upper Structure of 5MW Offshore Wind Turbine System based on Multi-Body Dynamics Simulation)

  • 최근 화석연료의 고갈과 환경오염으로 인하여 해상풍력에너지와 같은 신재생 에너지에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 범용 동역학해석 프로그램인 MSC.ADAMS를 이용하여 공력하중 및 전기 발전기 토오크를 결정하기 위한 테브난(Thevenin) 방정식이 고려된 해상풍력발전기의 다물체 동역학 해석 기법을 검토하였다. 해석대상으로 고려한 시스템은 5MW급 해상풍력발전기이며, 3개의 블레이드가 수평축 방향에서 역풍을 받아 전기를 생산하는 수평축 풍력발전 형태이다. 블레이드에 작용하는 공력하중은 블레이드 요소 모멘텀 이론을 기반으로 일반화된 동적 웨이크를 고려할 수 있도록 개발된 AeroDyn 프로그램으로부터 산출하였다. 해상풍력발전기의 주요 연결부에서의 동적하중과 토오크 특성이 실제 현상과 유사하게 산출될 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 다물체 동역학 모델 상에 블레이드와 타워는 실제 구조 특성치를 고려한 유연체 모델링을 적용하였다.

  • 부유 이송식 해상풍력 기초를 목표 지점에 설치하기 위해서는 내부의 중공부에 해수를 주입하여 착저 시키게 되는데, 그 과정에서 중량 및 무게 중심과 부력중심이 변하게 되어 부유식 기초가 불안정해 질 수 있다. 부유 이송식 기초의 동적안정성 해석은 기초 외부의 수력학적 하중과 6-자유도 운동을 하게 되는 기초에 작용하는 파도와 조류 하중 및 설치 과정에서 기초 내부의 중공부로 투입되는 해수의 무게중심 이동까지 동시에 고려해야 하는 복잡한 문제이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 3차원 비정상 CFD 기법과 다물체 동역학 기법을 연성 (coupling)한 정밀 해석기법을 적용하여 부유 이송식 기초 내부 물의 슬로싱 운동까지 고려한 동적안정성 해석을 수행하고 특성을 분석하였다.

다물체 모델링을 이용한 2단 유성식 외륜 고정형 사이클로이드 감속기의 진동특성분석 (Vibration Analysis of Planetary Fixed Outer-ring Type Cycloidal Speed Reducer by using Multi-body Modeling)

  • There are many types of speed reducer for industrial uses. However the cycloid speed reducer is widely used in manipulators based on excellent performance of low backlash, high reduction ratio and compact size. It is essential to use precision speed reducer for accuracy of position controls on robot systems and electric vehicles. The cycloid speed reducer has a eccentric rotating motion and offset to avoid some problem of assembly, so it has a disadvantage for vibration. In this paper, a multi-body dynamic model is developed for a cycloid speed reducer and the dynamic behaviors of the reducer are investigated. The cycloid speed reducer consists of cycloidal plate gears, housing gear, input shaft, output pin and shaft, and eccentric bearings. Using a CAD program, each component of cycloid reducer is modeled based on the offset and eccentric. Multi-body simulations using Recurdyn and test using a rig tester are performed. As a result, the pin reaction force and the amplitude of housing displacement are increased by the larger offset and smaller eccentric value of cycloid reducer.

  • This paper is to study vibration effects of the dynamic vibration absorber. Multi-body dynamic analysis is carried out for the vehicle driveline model using ADAMS with flexible propeller shaft attached with the vibration damper. Primary bending mode frequency of the propeller shaft is obtained from the simulation and coincides with the experimental result. Various design parameters are studied in dynamic simulation operated by the engine torque input. This paper identifies the responses of dynamic vibration absorbers in the driveline with propeller shaft, which will be used to find out optimal design parameters.

  • This paper concerns the kinematic characteristics of a coupling device in a deep-seabed mining system. This coupling device connects the buffer system and the flexible pipe. The motion of the buffer system, flexible pipe and mining robot are affected by the coupling device. So the coupling device should be considered as a major factor when this device is designed. Therefore, we find a stable kinematic device, and apply it to the design coupling device through this study. The kinematic characteristics of the coupling device are analyzed by multi-body dynamics simulation method, and finite element method. The dynamic analysis model was built in the commercial software DAFUL. The Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) method is applied to build the deep-seabed environment. Hydrodynamic force and moment are applied in the dynamic model for the FSI method. The loads and deformation of flexible pipe are estimated for analysis results of the kinematic characteristics.

A Numerical Method for Dynamic Analysis of Tracked Vehicles of High Mobility

  • A numerical method is presented for the dynamic analysis of military tracked vehicles of high mobility. To compute the impulsive dynamic contact forces which occur when a vehicle passes on a ground obstacle, the track is modeled as the combination of elastic links interconected by pin joints. The mass of each track link, the elastic elongation of a track link between pin joints by the track tension, and the elastic spring effects on the upper and lower surfaces of each track link have been considered in the equations of motion. And the chassis, torsion bar arms, and road wheels of the vehicle are modeled as the rigid multi bodies connected with kinematic constraints. The contact positions and the contact forces between the road wheels and track, and the ground and the the track are simultaneously computed with the solution of the equations of motions of the vehicle consisting of the multibodies. The iterative scheme for the solution of the multi body dynamics of the tracked vehicle is presented and the numerical simulations are conducted.

  • A method to investigate the design variable tolerance effects on the variances of the response, the characteristics, and the performance of a mechanical system is presented in this paper. The Monte-Carlo method has been conventionally employed to achieve such goals. However, the Monte-Carlo method has some serious drawbacks related to the computation time and the consistent solution convergence. To resolve the drawbacks of the method, a method employing sensitivity information is proposed. Sensitivity equations for a mechanical system are obtained analytically by differentiating the multi-body formulation with respect to a design variable. By using the chain rule along with the sensitivity information, the variances of the response, the characteristics, and the performance of a dynamic system can be calculated.

  • This paper presents the dynamic analysis method for an electromechanical system. The engineer has at his disposal a variety of software simulation tools. However, difficulties arise when the study of the behavior of complex electromechanical systems in combination with coupling element is required. Typical examples of such systems are machines for factory automation, home automation, and office automation. Dynamic systems analysis packages or electronic systems analysis packages offer the restrictive to simulate these mixed systems such electromechanical product. Electronic circuit analysis algorithm is easily incorporated into a multi-body dynamics analysis algorithm. The governing equation of electronic circuit is formulated as a differential algebraic equation form including both electrical and mechanical variables and is simultaneously solved in every time step. This analysis method clearly demonstrates the application potential for mixed electromechanical simulation.

  • In this paper, the results of an analysis of the dynamic behavior of the eddy current brake(ECB) system are presented. The measured irregularity of the track in Korean high speed line and the track irregularity given by ERRI(high level) were used for simulation. The wheel-rail profile combination were analyzed with different rail gauges. A model of the bogie with an substitute body fur the carbody was implemented in the Multi-Body-Simulation Program Simpack.   • 본 논문에서는 항공기에 장착되는 다축 구동 광학계에 대한 동역학 모델링을 하고, 다물체 동역학 해석프로그램을 사용하여 다축 구동 광학계의 모드해석, 사인파 해석 및 랜덤 진통해석을 하였다. 카메라 모듈의 물성으로는 Al6061-T6와 두 가지 형태의 강화 복합재 물성을 적용하였으며, x, y, z 축의 가진에 따른 각 축의 응답을 구하여 서로 비교하였다. 해석 결과는 카메라 모듈의 경량화를 위해 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
