In the past decades, several algorithms based on evolutionary approaches have been proposed for solving job shop scheduling problems (JSP), which is well-known as one of the most difficult combinatorial optimization problems. Most of them have concentrated on finding optimal solutions of a single objective, i.e., makespan, or total weighted tardiness. However, real-world scheduling problems generally involve multiple objectives which must be considered simultaneously. This paper proposes an efficient particle swarm optimization based approach to find a Pareto front for multi-objective JSP. The objective is to simultaneously minimize makespan and total tardiness of jobs. The proposed algorithm employs an Elite group to store the updated non-dominated solutions found by the whole swarm and utilizes those solutions as the guidance for particle movement. A single swarm with a mixture of four groups of particles with different movement strategies is adopted to search for Pareto solutions. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated on a set of benchmark problems and compared with the results from the existing algorithms. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is capable of providing a set of diverse and high-quality non-dominated solutions.

Since 100PPM Qualify Certification System has been established by the Industrial Advancement Administration in 1995, 1000PPM Quality Innovation Movement has contributed much to the enhancement of quality competitiveness of Korea's parts industry. And in 2000, raised to a higher level, Single PPM Quality Certification System has been established by the Small and Medium Business Administration. Single PPM Qualify Innovation Movement seeks to reduce the number of defects to below 10 out of one million industrial items produced. Ultimately, Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement aims at achieving perfection, by enabling a zero defect rate in industrial production through the participation of all members of an organization. So this study aims to show the tangible and intangible effects of Single PPM Quality Certification System. and to suggest a methodology to improve current problems of Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement.

This paper reviews the concept and limits of rural community development, examines the relation between consciousness education and movement, and suggests the model of social consciousness education to rural community movement. Since consciousness education is closely related to social movement methodologically, organizational and systematic community development movements for re-structuring the urban-oreiented policies and education which back up them be followed as natural consequence. Based upon the results of this study, the new paradigm is suggested. As shown in the model, new understanding of urban-rural continuum theory, new roles and concept of social consciousness education should be emphasized to solve the contemporary rural community problems. The organizational community development movement for the rural-oriented policy should be an essential process, and peoples' re-orientation, such as 'breaking stereotype', 'assumming a critical thinking toward social reality' etc., is the indispensible background of successful movement.

This papaer discusses the recent tendencies of health approach in the developed countries and suggests the strategy of health approach in order to cope with the changing environmental conditions of Korea in 2000's. In 2000's, Korea will have the environmental conditions and health problems similar to those of the developed countries at present. The American and European developed countries have shown the integrative approach trend by the interdisciplinary cooperation based on the holistic health conception, for example, as in the behavioral medicine, with the active drive of the medical self care movement and the national health preactice movement. The basic solution to the 2000's main health problems such as high morbidity of chronic diseases and high medical expenditure is to decrease the health need through the health promotion, disease prevention and early. ditection and early treatment of disease. The above actions need to induce the public to change their health behavior in the desirable direction through the national health practice movement and the health self care movement. The succeed of the movements depends upon how to use effectively the mass media, health and administrative organizations, schools, industrial and medical insurance organizations with the strong government support of health and preventive policies and programs.

The black box model is a relatively new option for nonlinear dynamic system identification. It can be used for prediction problems just based on analyzing the input and output data without considering the changes of the internal structure. In this paper, a black box model was presented to solve unconstrained overlying strata movement problems in coal mine production. Based on the black box theory, the overlying strata regional system was viewed as a "black box", and the black box model on overburden strata movement was established. Then, the rock mechanical properties and the mining thickness and mined-out section area were selected as the subject and object respectively, and the influences of coal mining on the overburden regional system were discussed. Finally, a corrected method for height prediction of the fractured zone was obtained. According to actual mine geological conditions, the measured geological data were introduced into the black box model of overlying strata movement for height calculation, and the fractured zone height was determined as 40.36 m, which was comparable to the actual height value (43.91 m) of the fractured zone detected by Double-block Leak Hunting in Drill. By comparing the calculation result and actual surface subsidence value, it can be concluded that the proposed model is adaptable for height prediction of the fractured zone.

Tough-construction is, undoubtedly, one of the most puzzling syntactic problems in the history of transformational grammar. Various approaches have been proposed including Deletion approaches (Akmajian, 1972; Lasnik and Fiengo, 1974) and movement approaches. Among the movement approaches, Chomsky (1977; 1981) argues for movement of null Operator, and Hornstein (2001) argues for a two-step movement equipped with Sideward movement. Most recently, Schueler (2004) and Hartman (2009) each have also argued for a kind of movement approach. With the development of the Minimalist syntax (Chomsky, 1995; Chomsky, 2000; Chomsky, 2001), tough-construction, an age old problem in the description of grammar, turns into another round toward to a more satisfactory answer. By examining the most recent competing analyses of tough-constructions, this paper defends and extends Schueler's (2004) analysis, rather than Hartman's (2009) two step movement approach. Furthermore, this paper proposes that tough-subject originates from the intermediate CP internal Spec-TopicP position rather than from the iterated CP layer (Authier, 1992). This approach has more descriptive power than it was originally argued for in Schueler (2004) and is a step closer toward Minimalism insofar as the conception of government is no longer utilized.

과학기술정책에 대한 시민 참여의 목소리들이 높아지고 있다. 그간 한국사회에서는 민주화 운동, 시민운동의 전개와 더불어 과학기술관련 단체들이 결성되어 각종 활동을 전개해왔다. 본 논문에서는 이들 과학기술 관련 단체들의 활동을 세시기로 나누어 살펴보면서, 우리나라 과학기술 문제 해결의 주체로서 이들의 역할을 정리해본다. 한국 사회에서 이들 과학기술 관련 시민 사회운동은 70년대 민중과학운동에서, 과학기술노동을, 과학기술 운동을 거쳐 90년대 시민 과학기술 운동으로 전개되어왔다. 이들 단체들에 의한 과학기술운동은 전문가 집단으로서 과학기술자 주체 형성에 기여를 하였고, 현재는 새로운 과학기술의 모색으로 시민 참여를 통한 과학기술운동을 전개하고 있다. 이들 단체들은 그간 과학기술 정책의 민주화에 어느 정도 기여를 해왔다고 할 수 있다. 현재 이들 단체는 시민사회에 걸맞은 과학기술자 사회의 형성과 시민 참여를 통한 새로운 과학기술 모색이라는 두 가지 과제를 맞고 있다.

지역축제 등 오프라인 행사장들의 운영 방식은 보통 실시간 행사 및 부스 정보의 부재, 물품 구매 및 수령 과정에서 시간 낭비, 관람객 동선 교착 등의 문제점을 갖는다. 본 연구는 행사장 내의 모든 콘텐츠를 부스 형태로 통합함으로써 행사 정보에 대한 통일성과 부스 운영의 효율성을 높여 관람객과 관리자의 편의성을 높인다. 또한, 행사장 안에서 관람객들의 동선을 감지하고 위치 데이터를 기반으로 부스와 프로그램 배치의 효율성을 높여 동선의 문제를 최소화하며 성과를 높이는 시스템을 설계하였다. 휴대형 무선랜 AP와 제어용 유닛으로 무선 패킷을 측정하는 저비용 시스템으로 개발되었다. 이는 단기간에 가변형 부스의 설치와 해체로 이뤄지는 행사장 운영에 장점이 있다. 행사장 통합 운영을 관람객의 동선 데이터를 연계하여 활용함으로써 방문을 활성화하고 데이터 기반 프로모션에 의한 매출증대 효과가 기대된다.

The stability of embankment on the soft ground has included problems on stabilities of embanked body and soft soil, which related with vertical displacement and lateral movement of the soft ground especially. The judge methods for the potentialities of lateral movement have been used in order to stabilization assessment during and after construction of the embankment. In this study, the judge methods on the improved soft ground suggested, which compared with exist judge methods on lateral movement. It is due to recent trend using embanked structures on the soft ground most of improved.
