상용차 브레이크 캠샤프트 성형의 건전성 평가 (The Soundness Evaluation of Cam Shaft Moulding for the Commercial Vehicle Brake System)

  • In this paper, the computer simulation analyzed the effective plastic strain and temperature behaviors. The quantitative analyses which proposed the effective mold design of S/CAM shaft was executed. The parameters of forging shape that affected on the optimize conditions that was calculated with simple equation were investigated. it is expected that the developed analysis model and design technique would greatly contribute to the drum brake optimal design considering effective plastic strain and temperature affected behaviors. This development could save more than 20% of production cost and reduced failure rate to more than 30%. By improving the life span of mold from 15,000 to 25,000, financial difficulty of company imposed on a mold manufacture could be overcome.

차량의 연료압력 레귤레이터 성형해석 (The Moulding Analysis of Fuel Pressure Regulator to the Vehicle)

  • This study examined the casting analysis of fuel pressure regulator of LPI vehicles. We aims to predict all the phenomenon accompanied by flow and solidification in die casting, and maximize productivity and quality through optimal casting design. As a result of comparing Types A and B of casting design, it was found that the number of overflow affected flow, flowspeed and solidification temperature. And there was a minute difference between solidification temperatures at thick section of the spare parts. Solidification began at temperatures of $624^{\circ}C{\sim}630^{\circ}C$ but after the casting was completed, temperatures at the center of the parts were $600^{\circ}C{\sim}614^{\circ}C$ Temperature of molten metal showed optimal flow at temperature of $680^{\circ}C$. It began to solidity around at $650^{\circ}C$ and to be cooled between $580^{\circ}C{\sim}550^{\circ}C$ in high speed. When the process was analysed through a computer simulation, it was found that hardness of regulators manufactured through Type B of overflow was above $H_R60$.

고품위 페라이트 본드자석 제조에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fabrication for High Quality Ferrite Plastic Magnets)

  • This research has been performed for the fabrication of high quality ferrite plastic magnet. The magnetic properties of S $r_{5.9}$F $e_2$ $O_3$ ferrite bonded magnets by injection moulding with a variety of applied magnetic field were investigated. 0.3wt% CaCO3, 0.2wt% $SiO_2$, 0.5wt% $Al_2$ $O_3$and 0.5wt% N $a_2$ $SiO_3$are added in order to improve the magnetic properties of Sr-ferrite plastic magnets during the powder fabrication. For carbon coating on chemical compound specimen, 5wt% polyvinyl alcohol is added, and then calcinated under $N_2$ environment of 12$25^{\circ}C$. The particle size is distributed from 0.9~1.2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ which approximates to the single domain. The obtained Sr ferrite powder is well mixed with silane coupling and calcium stearate of 1wt%. Nest, the specimen is pelleted after kneading each of them with polyamidel2 as a binder. When the temperature of injection and mould were 25$0^{\circ}C$ and 8$0^{\circ}C$ respectively at injection pressure of 200kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, the degree of orientation was 85.3% under the applied magnetic field of 12kOe. As the results, when the packing density of Sr ferrite powder was 90wt%, the magnetic properties of Sr ferrite bonded magnet were follows : $_{B}$ $H_{c}$=2.41kOe, Br=3.1kG, (BH)$_{max}$=2.21MgOe. Especially, the Sr-ferrite bonded magnet with 10wt% N $d_2$F $e_{14}$B additive were as follows : $_{B}$ $H_{c}$=2.57kOe, Br=3.14kG and (BH)$_{max}$=2.39MGOe.GOe.GOe.GOe.e.

Wollastonite에 관한 연구(II) -Mosaic Tile 소지에 대한 첨가효능- (A Study on the Wollastonite(II) -Effect of Wollastonite Additions in Mosaic Tile Body-)

  • A study was performed to investigate the effect of wollastonite additions with distinguishing from β and α for wollastonite in a mosaic tile body. In this study, the efficiencies by the amounts of additive, maturing conditions and moulding pressure, etc. have been studied mainly with a measurement of thermal analysis, and physical proerties; absorption shore's hardness, linear shringkage, apparent feature and so on. As a result of study, tile body which was contained the wollastonite was reducing the maturing temperature, reducing the absorption ratio, increasing the hardness in propertion to the amounts of wollastonite above the range of 1150°∼1175℃. On the basis of this experiment, the optimum conditions for production species were obtained when wollastonite was added in the range 6%, maturing conditions was operated in the range of 1150°∼1175℃, for 3-4 hrs.

대면적 롤금형 미세패턴 가공공정 기술 (Micro Pattern Machining on Larger Surface Roll Molds)

  • In order to cope with the requirements of smaller patterns, larger surfaces and lower costs in the fields of displays, optics and energy, greater attentions are now being paid to the development of micro-pattern machining technology. Compared with flat moulds, large drums with micro patterns (roll moulds) have the advantages of short delivery, ease of manufacturing larger surfaces, and continuous moulding. This paper introduced the machining process technology of the roll moulds for display industry. The environmental effects were discussed and the importance of temperature maintenance was experimentally emphasized. The real time monitoring system for micro machining was introduced. A commercial solution was used to simulate the micro grooving and a deformation model of micro machined pattern was finally introduced.

The computer table is different in form and size to that of existing fixed rectangular. It is idea1 product not only convenient and functional to use and beautiful design but also processing Performance of edge area and overlaying properties. The main technologies to develop this computer top table are plan for moulder to mould the Product and producing, molding the most suitable material and composition, suitable adhesives selecting and synthetic technology, investigation for the moulding conditions such as temperature, time etc, adequate overlaying materials selecting and overlaying technology have to be chocked.

  • Thermosetting matrix composites have disadvantages in terms of moulding time, repairability and manufacturing cost. Thus the high-performance thermoplastic composites to eliminate such disadvantages have been developed so far. As a result of environmental and economical concerns, there is a growing interest in the use of thermoplastic composites. However, since their mechanical properties are very sensitive to the environment such as moisture, temperature etc., those behaviors need to be studied. Particularly the temperature is a very important factor influencing the mechanical behavior of thermoplastic composites. The effect of temperature have not yet been fully quantified. Since engineering applications of reinforced composites necessitate their fracture mechanics characterization, work is in progress to investigate the fracture and related failure behavior. An approach which predicts the tensile strength was perpormed in the tensile test. The main goal of this work is to study the effect of temperature on the result of tensile test with respect to GF/PE composite. The tensile strength and failure mechanisms of GF/PE composites were investigated in the temperature range $60^{\circ}C\;to\;-50^{\circ}C$. The tensile strength increased as the fiber volume fraction ratio increased. The tensile strength showed the maximum at $-50^{\circ}C$, and it tended to decrease as the temperature increased from $-50^{\circ}C$. The major failure mechanisms was classified into the fiber matrix debonding, the fiber pull-out, the delamination and the matrix deformation.

대형옹관의 제작기법 연구-영산강유역 출토 옹관을 중심으로 (A study on manufacturing technologies of the large-sized jar-coffins exhumed mainly in the Young San river area)

  • The burial custom in the Youngsan river area was to build a jar-coffin and lay the body in state, however the methods in building and moulding the massive jar, as well as in which kiln it was made has not been examined precisely. Thus, this research not only investigates previous results related to the manufacturing methods of massive jar-coffins, but also examines samples that were excavated and collected. The clay used to produce jar-coffin consists a large portion of unglazed qualities, which was split-moulded from the bottom up to the mouth area. The interior was finished by applying water, whereas the exterior was decorated by regularly pasting or stamping in parallel with a lattice design. It can be presumed that the finished jar-coffin was not moved, but the ceiling and walls were built around it as a kiln, for the jar-coffin to be oxidized or to reduce the flame condition in a temperature approximately $700~1,200^{\circ}C$The results from the research, however, show limitations to exploit the exact manufacturing method, therefore there is a need for in-depth examinations: mineralogical investigation on a large amount of jar-coffin samples through a polarized light microscope; substance analysis using various equipments; speculation on the temperature in the place of production and the flame inside.

T자형 단면형상을 가진 성형품의 싱크마크 불량 감소 방안에 대한 연구 (A study on the reduction method of sink marks for plastic products with T-shape)

  • In the automotive industry these days, plastic parts have been developed and replaced with plastic parts by maintaining the same function of existing press parts for a variety of reasons. Injection molding plastic parts are subject to molding defects due to various factors, among which the sink marks usually occur in the areas where bosses and ribs are installed. In this study, we analyzed the influence of various factors on the occurrence of sink marks by using the flow analysis of the forming analysis program(Moldflow analysis) using the rib model with the T-shape. Tests have shown that the greatest influence on the sink mark of cosmetic products is the thickness and pressure of the ribs, and the thickness of the basic moulding thickness of the product increases. However, it was considered that the resin temperature and the mold temperature do not greatly affect the occurrence of the sink mark.
