한국무용을 활용한 신체활동과 유아의 운동능력 (Physical Activities Using Korean Dance and Motor Ability in Young Children)

  • This study examined the effects of physical activities using Korean dance upon the motor abilities of young children. The subjects of this study were divided into 2 groups. The first group was an experimental group (boy=12, girl=13) who participated in the Korean dance class and the other group was a comparative group (boy=11, girl=14). Experiments were performed during 18 sessions for 9 weeks. The study findings are as follows. First, physical activities using Korean dance had positive effects upon the development of basic motor abilities in young children. In terms of these basic motor abilities, movement motor ability and whole muscle operation motor ability showed significant differences between the pre-test and post-test stage in the experiment group and between the experimental and comparative groups in the post-test stage. On the other hand, in terms of non-movement motor abilities, there was a significant difference between the pre- and post-test stages for the experimental group, but no significant difference in the post-test stage for the experimental or comparative groups. Second, physical activities using Korean dance had positive effects upon the development of perceptive motor abilities in young children. In other words, in the sub-variables of perceptive motor abilities, there were significant differences between the pre- and post-test stages of the experimental group which experienced physical activities using Korean dance. In conclusion, the study findings showed that physical activities using Korean dance had positive effects upon the increase of both basic motor abilities and perceptive motor abilities in young children. Additionally, the experimental group exhibited more positive effects in the various areas of motor abilities than the comparative group.

The Relationship between Sensory Processing Abilities and Gross and Fine Motor Capabilities of Children with Cerebral Palsy

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference and relationship between sensory processing abilities, gross motor and fine motor capabilities in children with cerebral palsy. METHODS: 104 children with cerebral palsy participated in the study. Sensory processing abilities of the subjects were measured by Short Sensory Profile (SSP). Gross and fine motor abilities were each measured using the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) and Manual Ability Classification System (MACS), respectively. RESULTS: There were significant correlations between SSP level and GMFCS (R=.72, p<.00) or MACS (R=.77, p<.00) levels. Significant differences were showed each gross motor (p=.01) and fine motor level (p=.00) among sensory processing level of children. In addition, sub-items of sensory processing as Tactile sensitivity, Movement sensitivity, Auditory filtering and Low energy/Weak were significantly were showed significant correlations gross motor and fine motor level (p=.01). Also, multiple regression result was showed that as MACS level and GMFCS level were higher, the SSP total score was higher all of participants (adjusted $R^2=.62$). CONCLUSION: Sensory processing abilities of children with cerebral palsy were related with gross motor and fine motor capabilities. Also gross motor and fine motor capabilities are as higher, the sensory processing skill was well of cerebral palsy.

정신지체아 상지의 운동능력과 편측성 발달의 연구 (A Study on the Development of Laterality and Motor Abilities in Upper Extremity of Mentally Retarded Children)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the development of laterality and bilateral motor abilities measured with respect to various rhythm movements in upper extremity of mentally retared children. The development of laterality was measured by a survey of dominace-hand. The bilateral motor abilities were assessed by means of a tentative rhythm beat test of hands. One hundred sixty eighty subjects with special education needs shose age ranged from 7 to 18 years old were used for an experimental group. Fity nine normal children whose age ranged from 3 to 6 years old were also chosen as a control group. The major findings were a follows: 1. The development of lateral dominace-hand in mentally retared children differed from that of normal subjects with as increase in chronological age; the degree of the attainment of lateral dominance - hand was 75 percest of the mean level of the normal children. Though normal children establish a dominance - hand by ths age of years old, meatally retarded children are likely to show 57 percent of normal development at the age of 7 through 9 years old and 65 percent of normal development at the age of 16 through 18 years old. 2. A greater delay in mentally retarded was found through a rhythm test which was development to assess bilateral motor abilities in upper extremity. A closser relationship betwin chronological age and the development of bilateral motor abilities in mentally retared children was found. 3. In view of these findings, it was indicated that bilateral motor abilities of the retarded and non-retarded children were significantly correlated to the acqusition of dominance-hand.

기능적인 저항훈련이 운동이상형 뇌성마비 아동의 대동작과 균형능력에 미치는 영향 : 단일사례설계 (Effects of Functional Resistance Training on Gross Motor and Balance Abilities in Children with Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy : Single Case Design)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this research is to find clinical effects of functional resistance training using weighted vest on gross motor and balance abilities of children with dyskinetic cerebral palsy. Methods : This study selects 3 subjects for 8~12 years old who were diagnosed with children with dyskinetic cerebral palsy. The Design is ABA design of single-subject research design. Baseline(A) and TypeII Baseline(A : 12weeks) phases were received with NDT treatment, Intervention(B : 12weeks) phase provided with 40 minute functional resistance training using weighted vest in a session twice a week. In order to analyze the measure results of gross motor function and performance, balance abilities in children dyskinetic cerebral palsy during baseline, intervention and typeII baseline phase. Result : A statistically significant differences in the total GMFM including walking/running/jumping during baseline, intervention, typeII baseline, but no significant differences in the lying/rolling, sitting, crawling/kneeling and standing. A statistically significant differences in the total GMPM including dissociated movement, coordination, weight shift, stability during baseline, intervention, typeII baseline, but no significant differences in the body alignment domains. A statistically significant differences in the length and surface area ellipse of center of pressure during baseline, intervention, typeII baseline. Conclusion : The intervention method to facilitate multi-joint and closed kinematic chain movement equipped weighted vest applied functional resistance training on children with dyskinetic cerebral palsy effectively improve on gross motor function and performance, balance abilities.

실외 동작활동을 연계한 수학활동이 유아의 운동능력에 미치는 효과 (Effect of mathematics activities in connection with outdoor movement activities on the motor abilities of young children)

  • 본 연구는 실외 동작활동을 연계한 수학활동이 유아의 운동능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 경기도에 위치한 S유치원 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 총 15주간의 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 유아 운동능력 검사에서는 지성애(2007)의 유아 운동능력 검사 척도를 사용하였다. 각 영역은 모두 5점 평정척도로 구성되어 있다. 검사 문항의 수는 총 33개 문항이다. 유아의 운동능력에 대한 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하였다. t 검증을 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과, 실외 동작활동을 연계한 수학활동이 유아의 전체 운동능력, 비이동 운동 능력, 이동 운동 능력의 증진에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 한, 실외 동작활동과 통합한 다양한 프로그램이 개발되어 현장에 적용될 것으로 기대한다.

  • Physical therapy for patients with Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Spinal cord injury. Osteoporosis, CVA and Cerebral Palsy often includes the evaluating and teaching of rolling movements. Motor abilities such as rolling from a supine to a prone position, moving to sitting. getting up on all fours and ultimately standing up from a supine position. represents progression toward physical independence. Rolling is important functional abilities for need to dressing, decubit prevent. bed mobility, neck control, crawling, creeping, sitting, standing and walking. The purposes of this study were to describe motor development concept and rolling task patterns and to approach the therapeutic exercises.

뇌성마비 아동의 일상생활동작에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 구조방정식 모형 검증 (Structural Equation Modeling of Factors Contributing to Activities of Daily Living in Children With Cerebral Palsy)

  • 이 연구는 뇌성마비 아동의 운동손상, 손기능, 대동작 기능과 일상생활동작 수행능력 간의 인과관계를 구조방정식 모형 검증을 통해 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 만 6~12세 뇌성마비 아동 105명을 대상으로 근긴장도, 근력, 관절가동범위, 선택적 운동조절 능력, 손기능, 대동작 기능, 일상생활동작 수행능력 평가를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다: 첫째, 운동손상 변인 중 근긴장도, 근력, 선택적 운동조절 능력은 일상생활동작 수행능력의 하위 영역과 상관이 유의한 것으로 나타났다(p < .05); 둘째, 대동작 기능과 손기능은 일상생활동작 하위 영역과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다(p < .05); 셋째, 뇌성마비 아동의 운동손상, 손기능, 대동작 기능과 일상생활동작 수행능력과의 관계를 알아보기 위해 구조방정식 모형 검증을 실시한 결과, 이 연구의 모형은 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 뇌성마비 아동의 운동손상, 손기능, 대동작 기능과 일상생활동작 수행능력 간의 관계를 구조방정식 모형 검증을 통해 규명하였다는데 의의가 있다.

선택적 운동 조절 척도와 기능적 수행도 평가 간의 상관: 경직형 뇌성마비 아동을 대상으로 (Correlation Between Selective Motor Control Test and Functional Performance Evaluation in Children With Spastic Cerebral Palsy)

  • 이 연구는 경직형 뇌성마비 아동의 운동 손상를 측정하는 도구로서 선택적 운동조절능력 척도에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하고 선택적 운동조절능력과 대동작 기능 분류 체계, 대동작 기능 평가 결과, 그리고 일상 생활동작 평가 결과 사이의 상관성을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 68명의 경직형 뇌성마비 아동을 대상으로 선택적 운동조절능력, 대동작 기능 분류 체계 평가, 대동작 기능 평가, 그리고 일상생활동작 평가를 실시하고 상관을 알아보았다. 그 결과 선택적 운동 조절 척도 등급은 대동작 기능 분류 체계 평가(r = -.485)와 대동작 기능 평가(r = .482)와 유의한 상관을 보였다(p<.05). 하지만 일상생활동작과는 유의한 상관을 보이지 않았다(p>.05). 이는 이 척도가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동의 운동 손상 중 선택적 운동조절능력을 평가하는 평가도구로써 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

자연친화적 손끝놀이프로그램이 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달과 창의적 사고력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Nature-friendly Fingertips Play Program for the Development Small Muscle Functions and Creative Thinking Abilities of Young Children)

  • 본 연구는 자연 속에서 자연물을 가지고 손끝놀이를 활용한 자연친화적 손끝놀이프로그램이 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달과 창의적 사고력에 미치는 효과는 어떠한가를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 B시에 위치한 H어린이집 만5세 유아 14명과 P어린이집 만5세 유아 14명을 대상으로 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달을 측정하기 위해 강병동(2002)이 연구한 '소근육 운동기능 발달 평가도구'와 창의적 사고력 발달을 측정하기 위한 토랜스의 창의력 검사 중 도형검사를 김영채(2004)가 표준화시킨 한국판 창의성 도형검사를 사용하였다. 그에 따른 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연친화적 손끝놀이 프로그램이 유아의 전체 소근육 운동기능 발달과 정확성, 신속성, 안정성의 3가지 하위요소의 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 자연친화적 손끝놀이프로그램이 유아의 전체 창의적 사고력 및 창의적 사고력 하위요소 중 '유창성', '성급한 종결에 대한 저항'에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 결론적으로 자연친화적 손끝놀이 프로그램이 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달과 창의적 사고력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Rotational Speed measurement of three-phase Induction Motor by use of delivering unbalanced input from PWM Inverter

  • We often use induction motor in the hard environment including vibration and high ambient temperature, or in maintenance free operation, because induction motor has durable and simple structure. However, when we use it as servo actuator or accurate speed control motor, we have to equip sensor such as encoder and tachogenerator with the motor control system. And generally those sensor's abilities against bad environment are less than the induction motor itself, So if we can remove these sensors from the system, it'll have more environmental resistance, and the cost will also be reduced. Actually this removal has been achieved in limited field. However, that needs complex calculations and a certain elapse time for data processing. In our study, we intended to estimate the rotational speed from the motor current instead of speed sensor, easily and rapidly in comparison to former methods.
