The Korean government has operated various mega-development projects in order to help nation progress into the future. However, many problems and concerns have been raised on the mega-projects' delay and failure in South Korea. Moreover, there are many technical and executive problems; such as trial and error of development work, failure of validity test, complicated decision-making processes, and so on. With these concerns and problems to mega-development projects, finding a sustainable development from mega-projects is becoming a new issue in the field of mega-development projects. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not most mega-development projects conducted by the government exactly corresponds with sustainable development (such as environmental soundness, economic efficiency and social equity) focusing on Saemangeum project. Using causal loop analysis, this study gives some significant results to us. First, for environmental soundness, both central and local government should ensure water-purity control system for farming, industry, leisure, and others. Second, for economic efficiency, both governments not only have to secure a budget for completion of infrastructure of the Saemangeum project but also support financial assistance to Saemangeum project. Third, for social equity, three local governments (i.e., Gunsan, Gimje, and Buan) should stop debate and conflict with regard to an administrative district of Saemangeum region. Finally, most politicians should not use Saemangeum project for political means. Rather, they should recognize the project as a motive power for economic development of Jeollabukdo.

The purpose of this study is to examine the differences in appearance management behaviors and demographic variables among groups classified by the appearance management motives. The questionaries are administerd to 493 female and male adults above 20 years old in Seoul, Kyeonggi-do, Daegu and Kyungpook regions. For analysis of data from 478 respondents, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, cluster analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, ANOVA, Duncan test and ${\chi}^2$ test were applied. We show the following results: First, factor analysis for appearance management motives extracted three factors such as self-development, emphasis on the trendy appearance, and sexual appealing motive. Factor analysis for appearance management behaviors extracted four factors such as weight training, surgery/skin care, hair care and clothing selection. Second, three groups of the appearance management motives were classified into such as the social self-management type, the sexual appealing self-management type, the passive appearance management type. The social self-management groups are more interested in self-development, emphasis on the trendy appearance, and sexual appealing motive. And they are also more involved in appearance management behaviors: clothing selection is the most pursuing appearance management behavior. Third, among the demographic variables, the single and female in 20s and 30s with higher level of education belonged to the social self-management group. In this contribution, we find significant differences in the appearance management behavior and demographic variables classified by the appearance management motives.

The natural resources of Jeju are recognized as the new regional image of that clean island. Reflecting these trends, this study is initiated to develop a textile design with the motive of persimmon, a natural resource of Jeju, and to apply it to infant's and children's clothes. Its purpose is to highlight the image of persimmon, a traditional dye, as a regional signature for Jeju. Product development procedure included, understanding the use of persimmon for fashion products, analyzing Infants' and Children's designer collections over the last three seasons (focused on 2014S/S, 2015S/S, and 2016S/S), and surveying the Children's Clothes market for persimmon dyeing in Jeju. The conclusion was that, the natural resources of Jeju are highly valuable, and should be applied to textile design and apparel products for children. Utilizing Jeju persimmon was actively studied, but, the market for the Jeju persimmon natural - dyeing products is extremely limited. Moreover, the apparel products for infants and children represent old-fashioned styles, despite their higher prices. Therefore, using the formative characteristics of persimmon for each theme was suggested for development of patterns for textile design. Pattern designs were expressed using textured textile screen-printing, embroidery and $appliqu{\acute{e}}$ for infants' and children's clothes. In this study, a total of 10 items were prepared as apparel products for infants and children. All items were designed considering mix-and-match, potential, with each other or with regular mass-market products. These results are expected to contribute to highlighting the unique image of Jeju and to help promote fashion culture products.
The culture and society environment plays major role in the development of Fashion and now in the 21st century, interest in Fashion is getting increased along with the rapid progress of advanced media development and information surge. Now it s the time to extend visual efficiency not only transmitting fashion image but also develop a creative product that satisfy the demander s needs. Currently it is very hard to express our subjective Korean "nationalism" in the Fashion since the various expression skill using western fashion illustration are dominant in our society. I have classified two components, fashion illustration and Korean painting in the theoretical circumstance. In fashion illustration circumstance, I examined the concept, usage, expression skill and history referring to historical documents. In Korean painting section, I considered coloring portrait concept, pattern, history, concept, and feature of the four gentlemanly plants. including the basic material of Korean-paper, Writing- Brush, Ink-Stone, Traditional-ink and also the history of itself. I have designed 8 products applying the concept of plum blossoms, orchids, chrysanthemums and bamboos that represent the most important part of the four gentlemanly plants, and also the expression skill of Korean coloring portrait.rait.
This paper deals with the development of power control system(PCS) for nuclear power plants. The PCS provides the control motive power to operate the CEDMs(Control Element Drive Mechanism) for reactivity control inside the reactor vessel. The CEDM is raise and lower the CEAs( Control Element Assemblies) inside the reactor core. The CEAs are constructed with the Boron-10 isotope which has a high microscopic cross section of absorption for thermal neutrons. This characteristic causes the addition of negative reactivity when a CEA is inserted and positive reactivity when it is withdrawn from the reactor core.
Through network draft, it′s possible to describe curve draft with main motive in a lobby loom and to fulfill draft design more conveniently thanks to the development of computer device. Network draft was introduced by Alice Schlein, who is an American weaving artist, and I had ever published research paper on "The unfolding and development of network draft using computer dobby system" . The purpose of the next study was to develop the design of network draft while do make a design network draft in a dobby loom with 16 shafts, and could reach follow conclusion as a result of designing a variety of drafts. The initial of 4-end in a loom with 16 shafts was a basic condition to describe more perfect shape in comparison with draft in 8 shafts through the development of network. The development of draft line was essential to deride the pattern of fabric, and the pattern of draft is decided according to selecting key peg plan. Thereby, could get a variety of draft patterns derive from mix key peg plan with initial selected by developing the kind of draft line and applying diverse key peg plan. As for the variation and diversification of draft line, the shape of patters varied depending col the curve extent and connectivity of draft line and the size of curve. The pattern of network draft can be changed infinitely by free round curve of draft line. In addition, a variety of draft designs shall be developed by increasing the number of shaft, enlarging the scale of draft line, and developing more creative draft line.
This study is about the development of Fashion Design using of Korean Motive applied Digital Medium. With rapid change during the 21st century, digital media has emerged as the most important communication tool to facilitate speedy and interactive conversation. The recent emergence of 'Mass Customization' is a good reflection of digital transition's interactive features, realizing product variation and customization through flexibility and immediate responsiveness. In this so-called digital era, fashion is a tool that facilitates the use of digital media, while acting as the object, or the purpose, where digital media can be applied. This study looked at the development situations and future utilization method regarding digital fashion, which was recreated through digital media. In this study, a new design process was developed through digital media and actually manufactured Korean image clothing to reflect the motif of plant found in Korean folk paintings. Three-Dimensional(3D) digital shape was dressed in virtual clothing for comparison, thereby adding some features of textile design to three-Dimensional(3D) shape. Through the process, the study can provide various potential accesses to future development of fashion design utilizing digital media.

In this study, with the problem of "What is the desirable illustrations?", the problem points of the existing textbooks were analyzed, and the opinions of experts concerning desirable illustrations were examined through questionaire survey, and by developing 'Analysis Framework of Illustrations', and Korean-Japanese 'science' textbooks were analyzed and compared with. The conclusions for the direction of korean 'science' textbooks are summarized as follows : 1) The numbers of korean illustrations should be more about two than one of per one page of the existing textbooks. 2) The korean illustrations for the 6th grade should be more largely inserted. 3) The more econmic space utilizing measure should be groped for looking at from the such side. 4) Though the kinds of Korean illustrations are mostly composed of photographs, pictures, illustrations, cartoons, etc. should be positively utilized. and the shapes of photographs should be diversified by such as square, round shape,omissions of background and others. 5) The distribution of players by sex should be considered envenly for male and female from the ascendency of male (1.5: 1). 6) It was found that it is desirable for the formation of role of illustrations of 20% for motive inducement, 45% for guidance for experimentation, 30% for presentation of data, and 5% for presentation of the results of experimentation. 7) The illustrations for guidance for experimentation should present important stages of experimentation process regardless the number of illustration. 8) It would be advantageous for motive induction to find the subject matters as possible as from the children's close actual life. 9) It is necessary to induce more freely method in utilizing Printing plate for inserting illustrations. 10) It is the result of research that the existing Korean textbooks are not suitable in inducing interest, and the positive strategy to induce interest is demanded. 11) It is required to select their location freely in accordance with the content regardless the. 12) In order to develop such illustrations, it is required to cultivate expert illustrators, and more economic investment is required for development of illustrations. The emphasis matters of revision of the 6th educational process of 'Inducement of study motive and emphasis on interest' is the change of presenting form and method of illustrations, which is expected to be rewarded with much good fruits.
