모노펌프 로터 4-축 가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on 4-Axis Machining for Mono Pump Rotor)

  • Mono pump rotors are widely used in wastewater treatment plants, medicine, cosmetics, paint, paper, and chemical manufacturing, dairy production, public works, agriculture, and so on. A mono pump comprises two main parts: the rotor and stator. Typically, the rotor is machined using an expensive whirling machine. In this study, we developed an algorithm for 4-axis machining of the rotor on machining center (MCT). NC-code was obtained by applying the algorithm and finally the rotor of the mono pump was machined on a 4-axis MCT. Results of four sample experimental works showed close agreement with design geometries.

미립캡슐잠열재 제조 및 축열식 냉방기 적용실험 (An Experimental Study for Manufacturing MPCM Slurry and Its Application to a Cooling System)

  • The present study has been conducted for manufacturing MPCM (microencapsulated phase change material) slurry with in-situ polymerization and proving their applicabilities for tooling system. The surface of MPCM is composed of melamine, while tetradecane, paraffin wax, is centered in the MPCM. The produced capsules are observed by the optical microscope and SEM for superficial shapes. Their thermal properties are measured by DSC. Their size distributions are observed by FA particle analyzer. A narrow size distribution from 1 to 10 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ with 5 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of average diameter was observed. Melting temperature was 6.7$^{\circ}C$. The durability of MPCM was tested with various types of pump such as centrifugal, peristaltic, and mono pumps. During 10000 cycles the fraction of broken capsules was smaller than 6% for the centrifugal and peristaltic pumps, while bigger value of 8% for the mono pump. A cooling system, which adopted MPCM slurry as a media for transporting cold thermal energy, was designed to investigate the performance of the MPCM. The discharging times of 10 and 20 wt% MPCM slurry were lasted up to 105 and 285 minutes longer, respectively, than the water cooling system.

  • 숏크리트 습식 공법은 모든 재료를 혼합한 후 분사장치에 공급하여 노즐에 압축공기를 추가하고 분사속도를 향상시켜 타설면에 뿜어 붙이는 공법을 말한다. 현장의 습식 공법에서 사용되는 숏크리트량과 현장 상황을 실험실 규모에서 재현하기 위해서는 장비의 토출량 제어가 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 실험실 규모에서 현장 상태의 재현성을 높이기 위해 숏크리트 몰탈 뿜칠 장비의 급결제 유량 제어 시스템을 개발하여 장비에 적용하였다. 개발된 장비의 검증을 위해 물과 몰탈을 이용한 토출량 제어 시험을 수행하였다. 개발된 제어 시스템은 모노 펌프에 대해 사용자 입력값에 따라 토출량 제어가 원활하게 이루어 졌으나 감속기가 부착된 스크류 펌프에 대해서는 입력값에 따라 원활하게 토출량 제어가 이뤄지지 않았다. 감속기가 부착된 경우, 모노 펌프 가동률은 낮추면서 스크류 펌프의 가동률을 높여서 목표로 하는 급결제 유량에 근접하게 조절하는 방안이 필요하다.

Heteroepitaxial Structure of ZnO Films Deposited on Graphene, $SiO_2$ and Si Substrates

  • Heteroepitaxial growth remains as one of the continuously growing interests, because the heterogeneous crystallization on different substrates is a common feature in the fabrication processes of many semiconductor materials and devices, such as molecular beam epitaxy, pulsed laser deposition, sputtering, chemical bath deposition, chemical vapor deposition, hydrothermal synthesis, vapor phase transport and so on [1,2]. By using the R.F. sputtering system, ZnO thin films were deposited on graphene 4 and 6 mono layers, which is grown on 400 nm and 600 nm $SiO_2$ substrates, respectively. The ZnO thin layer was deposited at various temperatures by using a ZnO target. In this experimental, the working power and pressure were $3{\times}10^{-3}$ Torr and 50 W, respectively. The base pressure of the chamber was kept at a pressure around $10^{-6}$ Torr by using a turbo molecular pump. The oxygen and argon gas flows were controlled around 5 and 10 sccm by using a mass flow controller system, respectively. The structural properties of the samples were analyzed by XRD measurement. The film surface and carrier concentration were analyzed by an atomic force microscope and Hall measurement system. The surface morphologies were observed using field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM).

이젝터를 적용한 무기성 슬러지 건조시스템 기술개발 (Development of Inorganic Sludge Drying System Technology Applied with Ejector by Air Velocity)

  • The moisture content of many inorganic sludges is less than 70% during dewatering. Hence, a mono or piston pump cannot feed the sludge dryer. Thus, most inorganic sludge should be moved to a landfill or recycled directly without any reduction method. This development was invented to apply cyclone dryers using air and specially designed for the continuous injection of sludge sources by negative pressure and high air velocity for low moisture inorganic matter. Therefore, wastewater sludge and raw water treatment sludge discharged from various industrial fields might be settled by this development. The cyclone dryer was commercialized useful as moisture reduction equipment. This development was applied using a sludge injection system for sludge feeding and under the cooperation of ejector design computational fluid dynamics. Furthermore, this paper presented good ejector model results, blowing an airflow of 264 m3/min at an actual performance test.
