  • 본 논문에서는 최근 주파수 자원에 대한 수요가 급증하면서 효율적으로 주파수를 이용하기 위해 주파수 공유를 하면서 생길 수 있는 비용문제의 최고의 이득을 발생시킬 수 있도록 하기 위하여 이종네크워크(Heterogeneous Network)에서 매크로셀과 펨토셀 환경에서 스펙트럼 공유에 있어서 매크로셀이 사용하지 않는 스펙트럼을 펨토셀에 공유해줌으로써 이득을 취할 수 있는데 이러한 이득에 있어서 최고의 이득을 발생시킬 수 있도록 하기 위하여 펨토셀의 스펙트럼 공유당 비용 최적화 알고리즘을 제안 하였다.

  • 본 논문은 실내에서 사용자의 위치를 측위하기 위해 건물 실내에 설치되어 있는 Wireless AP(Access Point)에서 발신되는 RSSI(Received signal strength indication)를 수집한 후 Friis 공식을 통해 거리로 변환하여 위치를 측위한다. Friis 공식을 적용하는 과정에서 RSSI 신호가 약할수록 거리의 오차가 매우 심하게 변동되기 때문에 본 논문에서는 이러한 오차를 개선하기 위해 신호세기가 강한 2개의 AP좌표와 RSSI를 이용하여 두 원의 교점을 구하는 방정식과 좌표 사이의 거리를 구하는 방정식을 사용하는 위치측위 시스템을 구현하였고, 실험결과 제안한 방법이 기존의 삼각측량법보다 오차가 개선되었음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Sea areas outside Mokpo-Gu are not routed to a fairway, and PTMS is not done there. And there are many dangerous elements because some fairways are crossed In this papar, we proposed a maritime traffic system which was designed with expert group's knowledge for sqfe navigation in the area and PIANC rule(1980).

Comparison of Water Quality According to Seasonal Variation in Mokpo and Wando Costal Areas

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between nutrients and phytoplankton. This study was done by the comparison to two costal areas Mokpo, which inflow fresh water, and Wando. In August, salinity of the sea water decreased by 3.5-4.5%o in Mokpo coastal area, but was not nearly decreased in Wando coastal area. This suggests a lot of fresh water inflow in Mokpo coastal area. DIN and DIP were decreased by water temperature increasing in Wando. However, in Mokpo, DIN and DIP were increased greatly during the summer season. Nitrogen was limited to a 10 NIP ratio especially during the summer season in Wando coastal area while phosphorus in Mokpo coastal area was limited with over 28 N/P ratio in all the seasons. Coefficient of determination$(r^2)$ between DIP and Chl.-a was 0.91 in Mokpo coastal area. On the other hand, Coefficient of determination$(r^2)$ between Chl.-a and DIN, DIP were 0.93 and 0.89, respectively, in Wando coastal area. These results suggest DIP in Mokpo and DIN and DIP in Wando might be limited at the increase of phytoplankton.

The Change of Pollution Loads flowing into Mokpo Harbour Due to the Operation of Mokpo Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant (목포하수처리장 가동에 따른 목포항 유입 오염부하량의 변화)

  • In order to study the change of pollution loads flowing into Mokpo harbour after the operation of Mokpo Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant (MMSTP) and to evaluate the contribution of MMSTP operation to the improvement of marine water quality of Mokpo harbour, the pollution loads flowing into Mokpo harbour from land in dry weather were surveyed and estimated on the bases of the seasonal flow rates and the seasonal water qualities of streams and effluents located around Mokpo harbour from summer, 1997 to spring, 1998 before the operation of MMSTP, and the pollution loads of the inflow and the effluent of MMSTP were also surveyed and estimated from winter, 1998 to spring, 1999 after the operation of MMSTP. The treatment rates of MMSTP were shown to be about 49% in COD, 76% in TSS, 79% in VSS, 3% in T-N, 7% in DIP, 29% in T-P and -32% in DIN. The change rates of pollution loads flowing into the inner harbour of Mokpo due to the operation of MMSTP were shown to be about 56% In COD, 78% in TSS, 84% in VSS, 45% in DIN, 22% in T-N, 34% in T-P and -14% in DIP. The contribution rates of MMSTP operation to the reduction of total pollution loads flowing into the entire Mokpo harbour were found to be about 3% in COD, 3% in 755,5% in VSS,1% in DIP, 3% in T-P and -1% in DIN.

  • The navigation area approach to Mokpo port consists of narrow channels with 30mile section, and the route is crossed with many fairways. Specially, except Mokpo-Gu fairway routeing is not assigned and there are many threatening factors against the safe operation of vessel because fishing and mining areas are designated Therefore, this paper proposed a plan for safe passage through a maritime transportation environmental assessment with the analysis of surrounding environment, danger element of navigation, traffic observation and marine accidents.

  • Mokpo is a port city in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula. The popular song "Tears of Mokpo" is a song planted in the hearts of the entire nation. In this content, there are Yudalsan Mountain and Samhakdo Island in Mokpo, and people vaguely know this area, but it is a familiar place. In particular, Samhakdo Island is a representative brand that symbolizes Mokpo and is a place with regional identity. Mokpo City is creating many facilities infrastructure to develop Samhakdo Island. It is a stepping stone for converting the local economy into a tourism industry. However, the development of performance contents for the soft power of local culture is weak. In this respect, this study presented performance contents for Samhakdo Island, Mokpo's representative brand, for local tourism attractiveness. The research progress is a study on planning and researching performance contents using the location of Samhakdo Island in Mokpo. First, the background of the theory of performance content planning based on local placeability was examined. Next, Samhakdo Island in Mokpo proposed planning for performance contents.

  • The maritime risk assessment is important not only to evaluate the safety level of the ports and waterways but also to reduce potential maritime accidents at sea in terms of the proactive measures of the maritime accidents. In this paper, the collision risk assessment in Mokpo waterways has been carried out based on the IALA recommended model, IWRAP. To evaluate the accident probabilities in Mokpo waterways, all data of vessels were collected from AIS and Radar observations data and the computer simulations were carried out. To assess the risk on the traffic, the scenario-base approach has been applied to the Mokpo waterway by using the maritime accident statics over the past 5 years.

  • This paper investigates the circumstances and conditions of Mokpo Port to develop it as an international logistics stronghold and seeks scheme to maximize the local economic ripple effect through construction and activation of Mokpo New Port. Under the circumstances in which neighboring ports vying with each other have built broad spheres of influence, and competition among ports becomes fierce, a priority cargo attraction strategy should be established by using Mokpo's favorable location compared to other ports in order to ensure that a large quantity of goods is transported from Mokpo New Port. Especially, Mokpo New Port needs to be developed as a vehicles-only exporting port, as well as a port for used car exports and an import port for stones and timber.
