  • The purpose of this paper is to establish an effective inspection system by using OMM(ON-Machine Measurement) system. This allows us to reduce the manufacturing lead time by separating the inspection process from manufacturing system. As a first step, the inspection process planning is accomplished by determining the number of measuring points, their locations, measuring path and their sequence. Subsequently, we generate measuring G-codes to be transferred to the machining center through RS232C, and then the inspection process will be performed for each shape. Analysing obtained measuring data, the dimensional tolerance will be validated.

Let $k{\geq}0$ be an integer and $r=Width_{>k}(I,A)$ the supremum of lengths of A-cosequences in dimension > k in I defined by Nhan-Hoang [9]. It is first shown that for each $t{\leq}r$ and each sequence $x_1,{\cdots},x_t$ which is an A-cosequence in dimension > k, the set $$\Large(\bigcup^{t}_{i=0}Att_R(0:_A(x_1^{n_1},{\ldots},x_i^{n_i})))_{{\geq}k}$$ is independent of the choice of $n_1,{\ldots},n_t$. Let r be the eventual value of $Width_{>k}(0:_AJ^n)$. Then our second result says that for each $t{\leq}r$ the set $\large(\bigcup\limits_{i=0}^{t}Att_R(Tor_i^R(R/I,\;(0:_AJ^n))))_{{\geq}k}$ is stable for large n.

  • This paper presents a hierarchical real-time operation control and monitoring scheme of the FMS/CIM center which has been implemented at the Automation and Systems Research Institute of Seoul National University. The hierarchical structure of the whole scheme consists of three lavers. The upper layer is in charge of on-line scheduling, computer network control, shop-floor monitoring and command generation for AGV dispatching, machining, assembly, inspection, set-up, etc. The middle layer has six modules, which are installed in the FMS host computer with the upper layer and run on the multi-tasking basis. Each module is connected to one of six cell controllers distributed in the FMS model plant and transfers operation command down to each cell controller through the Ethernet/TCP-IP local area network. The lower layer is comprised of six cell control software modules for machining cell, assembly cell, inspection cell, set-up stations. AS/RS and AGV. Each cell controller reports the status of the manufacturing facilites to the middle layer as well as ecxecuting the appropriate sequence control of the manufacturing processes.

  • 오늘날 정보기술(IT)은 다양한 산업분야 융화되어 기존 산업의 경쟁력을 강화하고 생산성 및 품질 향상의 견인차 역할을 수행하고 있다. 특히 생산 및 물류 분야에서 IT 융합을 통한 새로운 시너지 창출을 시도하고 있는 것이 RFID 기술이라 할 수 있다. 이미 정부 주도의 시범사업이 끝났으며, 2008년 공공기간 확산사업이 성공적으로 마무리되면, 본격적으로 산업분야 확산이 기대되고 있다. 본 논문에서 자동차 산업에서의 RFID 응용 모델로서 RFID 기반 지능형 직서열 생산시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 기술한다. 직서열 시스템은 완성차 생산라인의 조립시간과 순서에 맞춰 모듈과 부품을 공급하는 협업 생산시스템이다. 자동차 조달물류 프로세스 혁신을 위하여 RFID 기술을 도입함으로써 협력기업간 정보 교환을 원활하게 지원하며 실시간 추적관리 체제의 구현을 이루고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템은실시간 재고 파악 및 생산물량 예측이 가능하며, 이기종 부품 장착에 의한 조립불량률을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • This paper deals with some critical activities of CAPP system such as generation of part description database, part feature recognition, process and operation selection, and sequencing method for turning operation of symmetric rotational parts. The part description database is generated by data conversion module from CAD data, and the part feature is recognized by using both pattern primitives and feature recognition rules. Machining processes and operations are selected based on machining surface features and its sequence is determined by rules acquired from process planning expert. AutoCAD is employed as CAD system and computer program is developed by using Turbo-C on IBM PC/AT compatible system.

  • On-machine measuring system of Numerically Control(NC) machines permit computer control of basic material cutting processes of moulds. A part of mould designed within a CAD/CAM system can be manufactured by generation of tool paths by the measuring systems. Since the three-dimensional geometry by AutoCAD of the part is contained in the data base, the manufacturing specialist combined with the appropriate software simulation, can not only create the commands to drive the virtual measuring and standardization of measuring modules but also can check for mistakes by viewing the computer graphics simulation of the tool cutting sequence.

  • In this paper we study exponential growth of Betti numbers over artinian local rings. By the Change of Tor Formula the results in the paper extend to the asymptotic behavior of Betti numbers over Cohen-Macaulay local rings. Using the length function of an artinian ring we calculate an upper bound for the number of generators of modules, this is then used to maximize the number of generators of sygyzy modules. Finally, applying a filtration of an ideal, which we call a Loewy series of an ideal, we derive an invariant B(R) of an artinian local ring R, such that if B(R)>1, then the sequence $b^{R}$$_{i}$ (M) of Betti numbers is strictly increasing and has strong exponential growth for any finitely generated non-free R-module M (Theorem 2.7).).

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity. Let R be an integral domain and M a torsion-free R-module. We investigate the relation between the notion of e-exactness, recently introduced by Akray and Zebari [1], and generalized the concept of homology, and establish a relation between e-exact sequences and homology of modules. We modify some applications of e-exact sequences in homology and reprove some results of homology with e-exact sequences such as horseshoe lemma, long exact sequences, connecting homomorphisms and etc. Next, we generalize two special drived functor T or and Ext, and study some properties of them.

  • Today, a shortage of the skilled operator has been intensified gradually and the necessity of an earthwork in extreme environment operators are difficult to access is increasing for the purpose of resource development and new living space creation. For this reason, an effort to develop an unmanned excavation robot for fully automated earthwork system is continuing globally. In Korea, a research consortium called 'Intelligent Excavation System' has been formed since 2006 as a part of Construction Technology Innovation Program of Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs of Korea. Among detailed technologies of the Task Planning System is one of the core technologies of IES, this paper explains research and development process of the Local Area Design Module, which provides informatization unit to create automated excavators' work command information at operation level such as location, range, target, and sequence for excavation work. Designing of Local Area should be considered various influential factors such as excavator's specification, working mechanism, heuristics, and structural stability to create work plan guaranteed safety and effectiveness. For this research, conceptual and detail design of the Local Area is performed for analyzing design element and variable, and quantization method of design specification corresponding with heuristics and structural safety is generated. Finally, module is developed through constructed algorithm and developed module is verified.

  • HSF1 is the heat shock transcription factor in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. S. cerevisiae KNU5377 can ferment at high temperature such as $40^{\b{o}}C$. We have been the subjects of intense study because Hsf1p mediates gene expression not only to heat shock, but to a variety of cellular and environmental stress challenges. Basing these facts, we firstly tried to construct the hsf1 gene-deleted mutant. PCR-method for fast production of gene disruption cassette was introduced in a thermotolerant yeast S. cerevisiae KNU5377, which allowed the addition of short flanking homology region as short as 45 bp suffice to mediate homologous recombination to kanMX module. Such a cassette is composed of linking genomic DNA of target gene to the selectable marker kanMX4 that confers geneticin (G418) resistance in yeast. That module is extensively used for PCR-based gene replacement of target gene in the laboratory strains. We describe here the generation of hsf1 gene disruption construction using PCR product of selectable marker with primers that provide homology to the hsf1 gene following separation of haploid strain in wild type yeast S. cerevisiae KNU5377. Yeast deletion overview containing replace cassette module, deletion mutant construction and strain confirmation in this study used Saccharomyces Genome Deletion Project (http:://www-sequence.standard.edu/group/yeast_deletion_project). This mutant by genetic manipulation of wild type yeast KNU5377 strain will provide a good system for analyzing the research of the molecular biology underlying their physiology and metabolic process under fermentation and improvement of their fermentative properties.
