A methodology for XML documentation of the structural calculation document is presented to support manipulation of the design information on the internet. The text file format is chosen as a neutral format because it can be easily translated from office documents generated from engineering practice. The first word of each line is compared with the reserved numbering groups, and relative levels among the lines are defined to generate the hierarchically structured XML document of the text file. The demonstration subjected to sample general documents and structural calculation documents shows that the prototype application module based on the developed methodology can be adopted to build the database of design information which supports the safety management of infrastructures.

Recent Internet Service Environment has been moved to provide geographic information based on location as well as existent various information. In this paper, we develop an integrated software connecting GIS information to Internet. In the other hand, in GIS S/W, it is important that rapid output of Digital Map and effective trnasmission of specified Digital Map about moving area. To achieve the purpose, we propose a reduced digital format to diminish original digital maps. Also, we develop a GIS-based software engine with functions connecting location information to URL as well as map viewer and map handling. Futhermore, our developed GIS S/W is based Module in LBS application using GPS sensor.

본 논문은 '바다지도' 데이터를 이용한 지도 기반의 응용시스템을 위한 '바다지도' 데이터 입력 모듈의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. '바다지도' 데이터 입력 모듈은 응용시스템에서 '바다지도' 데이터를 시스템의 내부 자료 구조 및 형식으로 쉽게 변경하여 사용할 수 있도록 일관된 형식으로 '바다지도' 데이터를 입력하여 제공한다. '바다지도' 데이터 입력 모듈의 설계는 '바다지도' 데이터 특성 분석을 바탕으로 하였다. 국제수로기구의 S-57 전자해도 표준의 데이터 형식과 '바다지도' 데이터의 데이터 형식을 비교 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 전자해도 표준에 따른 전자해도 데이터의 디스플레이 표준인 S-52 표준의 적용이 가능하도록 '바다지도' 데이터를 위한 자료구조를 정의하였다. 그리고 배포형식의 '바다지도' 데이터 셋을 해도 응용시스템에서 이용할 수 있도록 '바다지도' 데이터를 파싱하여 객체를 중심으로 정의한 자료구조로 변환하는 입력 모듈을 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 '바다지도' 데이터 입력 모듈의 테스트를 위해 '바다지도' 뷰어를 구현하여, 입력 모듈을 테스트하였다.

This paper describes the interface designs of Optical-Camera Electronic unit with a DFPA(Detector Focal Plane Assembly) and IDHU(Image Data Handling Unit) which meet the top-level requirement of a satellite system. Especially, the designs on the image format and timing of the Header information for the correct reconstruction of the image in the Groundstation are explained in detail.

Base Station Controller which belongs to IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunication - 2000) network has several types of structure for efficient control protocol. This difference of structure occurs two different protocols for call handling. Recently the need of IMT-2000 is highly increasing, so it is important to analyze the performance of processors and IPC(Inter-Processor Communication) module with structure of BSC and protocol difference. This paper presents the performance comparison of different types of BSC in view of processor utilization, waiting time, queue length and QoS(Quality of Service) through the simulation model.

This paper outlines the development of image processing system, which will allow the general users in Government and Public organizations easily to use and apply KOMPSAT EOC images in their own business. The system includes an import/export module of EOC image distributed in Hierarchical Data Format (HDF) file and various image processing analysis modules. Especially, the image mosaic and subset functions are designed to use EOC image as an image map, generating the Ortho-image module. To update the various spatial data with EOC image, some essential modules such as change detection by pattern recognition, overlay between images and vector data, and modification of vector data are implemented in the system. The system is developed based on the user request analysis of government agency, and suited for more efficient use of satellite image in public applications. Such system is expected to contribute to practical application of KOMPSAT-2 that will be launched in 2005. Further efforts will be made to accommodate the KOMPSAT -2 MSC data.

Infrared remote controllers are widely used in controlling electronic devices due to its simplicity and convenience. This paper presents a smart phone application unifying any infrared remote controllers. We can select a device from device list menu of the application. Any new device can be added easily by downloading the protocol file of the device from protocol file server. Remote controller protocol files are stored in audio file format, and the file related to a specific menu button is transmitted through the audio jack of smart phones. The protocol file server is a standard file server, and protocol files for various devices are collected by infrared receiver module. For smart phones without infrared facility, a small infrared module translating audio signal to infrared signal is applied.

이 연구는 인터넷 기반 전자저널을 기술하는데 적합한 한국목록규칙과 KORMARC형식을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로서, 인터넷 기반 전자저널을 기술하는데 필요한 주요 사항별로 AACR2(1998 Revision), ISBD(ER), CCM Module 31, OCLC Manual의 목록규칙 및 지침에 규정되어 있는 내용들을 비교분석하고, 또한 관련 USMARC의 서지데이터 요소와 특징을 분석하였다. 아울러 실제 인터넷 기반 전자저널의 목록 작성시 제기될 수 있는 문제점들을 살펴보고 이에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 컨텐츠 사이트에서 묵시적인 평가정보를 이용한 새로운 사례기반 추천시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 크게 사용자 프로파일 생성 모듈, 유사도 계산 및 추천 모듈, 개인화된 메일링 모듈로 구성된다. 사용자 프로파일 생성 모듈에서는 사용자가 컨텐츠를 이용하면서 남긴 로그 기록을 이용하여 컨텐츠에 대한 개인별 선호도를 추출할 수 있는 속성내, 속성간 가중치를 제시하였다. 유사도 계산 및 추천 모듈에서는 사용자 프로파일과 새로운 컨텐츠간의 유사도를 측정하기 위한 유사도 계산식을 제시하였다. 개인화된 메일링 모듈에서는 개인별 선호도에 의해 구성된 추천 컨텐츠를 플렛폼-독립적인 XML 문서 형식으로 변환하여 발송한다. 제안된 모델에 대한 추천 효율을 검증하기 위해 평균절대오차(MAE)와 반응자작용특성(ROC) 값을 이용하여 제안한 추천 모델과 협동적 필터링 기법과 비교 실험하였다. 실험결과, 본 논문에서 제안한 모델의 추천 효율이 기존의 협동적 필터링 기법보다 우수함을 보였다.

리포팅 시스템은 사용자가 원하는 정보를 정형화된 형식으로 출력할 수 있는 시스템이다. 클라이언트/서버 환경에서는 원격의 사용자는 클라이언트에서 동작하는 컴포넌트를 이용하여 서버의 데이터를 가공, 처리하여 원하는 형식의 문서 양식으로 출력을 할 수 있었으나, 웹 기반의 인트라넷 구축이 보편화되면서 이와 같은 클라이언트/서버 시스템 구조의 리포팅 시스템이 웹 기반의 환경으로 전환되고 있다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 웹 기반의 시스템 환경에서 사용자가 브라우저를 통해 서버에 접속하고, 서버의 데이터베이스를 검색, 처리한 결과를 원하는 형식으로 파일 저장 또는 인쇄 출력할 수 있도록 지원하는 기능이다. 본 연구 결과는 텍스트 및 그래픽 기능을 지원하며, 실시간 데이터 연동 기능이 가지는 컴포넌트를 개발하였으며, 특히, 서버 시스템에 독립적으로 동작하도록 자바를 이용한 표준 인터페이스로 구현하였다. 특히, 망 관리 시스템의 리포팅 컴포넌트로 구현, 적용함으로써 사용자 인터페이스 및 기능을 검증하였다.
