  • 본 논문은 연안에서의 어업기술의 현대화 및 과학화를 위한 기술개발의 일환으로, 연안 어업의 하나인 정치망 어장에 있어서 필요한 디지털 원격 어군정보 탐지 시스템을 개발하고, 그 이용에 관하여 소개하고자 한다. 디지털 원격 어군정보 탐지시스템은 정치망에 최종적으로 고기가 모이는 원통그물의 입구에 어군탐지기를 설치하고, 어군탐지기의 에코 신호를 무선 RF모뎀을 통하여 원격으로 신호를 발송한 후 육상에 있는 기지국에서 이 원격 어군탐지기에 의해 송신된 어군의 에코신호를 컴퓨터의 모니터 상에 표시함과 동시에 보조기억장치에 수록하여, 상시 육상의 기지국에서 어군이 원통에 입망하는 상황을 관찰 할 수 있도록 원격으로 어군의 정보를 탐지할 수 있는 시스템을 말한다.

Development of Millimeter-Wave Communication Modem for Mobile Wireless Backhaul in Mobile Hotspot Network

  • The current cellular communications are optimized for low mobility users, meaning that their performance is degraded at high speed. Therefore, passengers in a high-speed train experience very poor radio link quality due to the significantly large number of simultaneous handovers. In addition, wireless data traffic is expanding exponentially in trains, subways and buses due to the widespread use of smartphones and mobile devices. To solve the inherent problem of cellular communication networks and meet the growing traffic demand, this paper proposes the mobile hotspot network of a millimeter-wave communication system as a mobile wireless backhaul. This paper describes the physical layer design of uplink and downlink in the proposed system, and the performances of uplink and downlink are evaluated under Rician fading channel conditions. The implemented baseband prototype of the proposed millimeter-wave communication modem is presented. This system can provide a Gbps data rate service in high-speed trains carrying hundreds of wireless Internet users.

  • If we compare socio-cultural aspects of the two historical periods known as 'pre-modern' 'modern,' it would seem that the Aristotelian understanding of technology has difficulty explaining techno-cultural phenomenon of modern society. The problems are first that the discourse of scientific technology in the modern period has proceeded without a metaphysical base, and second that nothing in present culture regulates the limitations of scientific technology. The clear distinction between means and ends in the traditional approach is no longer valid in the jumble of interrelationships. Such complexity forces us to acknowledge that means and ends are relative and interchangeable, and that neither has a clear moral superiority over the other. Technology in modern society is no more a neutral means. The products of science do not always exist to serve human ends. In modem architecture and urban design, both its productive and destructive tendencies leave man and his society in an endless confusion of complexity and opposition. These problems of technology still result in unsolved question today. On this point, the discussion another currently prevalent attitude to technology, especially Heideggerian thinking in the below could give a somewhat clearer answer to the problem of modem architecture and technology, although it also comprises limited contemplation in itself.

  • 미국, 러시아, 유럽연합 및 중국의 인공위성 항법 시스템 현대화 정책 추진 가속화 및 위성항법 기술 발전으로 2015년까지 무려 100기 정도의 항법 위성이 우주궤도에 배치될 것으로 전망된다. 이러한 각국의 경쟁적인 위성항법 시스템 개발은 현재 GPS 일변도의 전 세계 위성항법 시스템 의존도를 획기적으로 낮출 뿐 아니라 위성항법 신호의 다원화로 민간사용 분야는 물론 군사 분야에서도 많은 변화가 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 급변하는 전 세계 위성항법 시스템구축 환경 변화에 따른 정책 및 기술 특성을 분석하여 미래 인공위성 항법 기술사용 및 국방과학 분야 접목에 대한 우리의 대응전략을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In the modem society of Japan, specially before and after the World War II, one of the most important problem is socially to build housing of working classes. In those days, Ken Ichiura had been led the dwelling of modem Japanese architecture. He had worked in wide spheres of action like private residence, public housing, collective housing area and urban planning for about fifty years. But until now, because studies on public housing of Japan has been discussed only aspect of architectural design, there was almost no study about Ken Ichiura who acted in practical affairs. So this study aims to consider about the Ken Ichiura's research on dwelling and the relation with the then social circumstance. It was summarized as four details of Ken Ichiura's activities on Dwellings before the end of World War II. First, he proposed half-government-supervised system by economic reason on provision of dwellings. Second, he proposed dry construction system by material and structural reason on economic and stability supply. Third, he proposed standardization and industrialization by economic reason on industrialization form material to construction of industry. And the last, he also proposed standard plan and standard design by economical and mass production supply dwellings during the war.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how the interface between "place of work" and "place of living" in the housing sphere has changed, and to understand its social background. During the korean modernization period, changes in economic structure toward industry has an influence on many aspects of modem life in addition to occupations. The traditional mixing of heterogeneous activities in the home-such as between reproduction and household affairs, first changed into a coexistence of two spaces with different functions within the boundaries of home, and finally into a spatial separation between functions in an urban dimension. As a result of this process, the primary role of the modem home is as a place for relaxation without work. One important kind of home, in which a retail shop is integrated with it, was researched as a transitional form. Its spatial layout showed a various combined usage of both spaces. In conclusion, changes in relevant macro-social aspects are very concretely reflected m the function and spatial organization of the home.

  • OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 방식을 기반으로 하는 M-WiMAX (Mobile-Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) 시스템은 이동성이 있는 고속 데이터 전송에 적합한 전송 방법으로 널리 알려져 있지만, 수신단에서의 LO (Local Oscillator)에 의해 발생하는 IQ 불균형에 매우 민감한 특성을 보이는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 IQ 불균형이 시스템에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이를 보상하는데 있어 이득 불균형의 추정 및 보상이 AGC (Automatic Gain Control) 기능과 중첩함으로 단말 모뎀에서 DFE (Digital Front-end) 의 소형화 및 고집적화를 위한 두 기능의 결합 기법을 제시한다. 모의 실험을 통해 기존 방법과의 성능 차이가 없음을 보여 제안한 기법에 의한 H/W 구현의 복잡도를 감소시킬 수 있다.

  • PLC (Power Line Communication) is the communication method using the existing power line installed in houses and offices to convert and transmit high frequency communication signal from tens of KHz to tens of MHz, and receive the filtered signal using high frequency filter. The advantage of PLC is that PLC uses the existing power line installed in houses and offices so it does not require separate power line. Easy and convenient access using electric outlets is another advantage of PLC. However, PLC has some disadvantages such as limited transmission power, high load interference and noise, variable signal attenuation, characteristic of impedance selective possibility of frequency property. This study designed the boiler temperature control system by unit using the modem designed on the basis of technology used for PLC modem, and designed remote control system using internet. After conducting experiments with those two systems, it was possible to control stably. By commercializing this product, we can avoid unnecessary heating of separate temperature control unit, and save the cost according1y, and it is possible to control on a remote site using internet in a more convenient way.

  • We have studied design and application about an self generation equipment for underground power transmission cable. The split CT(Current Transformer), which has the applicable underground power transmission cable, was manufactured through electromagnetic simulation of magnetic core. And manufactured the AC-DC converter that supplied stable DC power for PLC modem when current of power line has more than 150A. An self generation equipment using the CT and AC-DC converter get into operation the PLC modem consistently. As a result, the underground power transmission cable was showed the application possibility through the stable communication and network characteristics.

현대 패션에 나타난 동양적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Oriental Spirit Detectable in Modern Fashion Style)

  • A midst the tendency in an attempt to rehabilitate the coexistence of values in Oriental and Western cultures, along with centripetal attention through reincarnation of the Oriental culture, the modem fashion trend is also inclusive of such Oriental flavors even in the opposite Western fashion icons with an outlook for futuristic alternative. In this regard the study is to investigate the Oriental Characteristics shown in the contemporary fashion in a more profound and right manner by evaluating its spirituality and formativeness through analytical survey on preliminary literatures, whose key words are as follows; Fist, heterogeneity inclusive of the Oriental comprehensiveness through non-periodic chaos; second, imperfection in pursue of perfection through non-perfection; third, asymmetry caused by polarized historicity together with agility in the Oriental costumes; fourth, simplicity bridging into religious naught, and; fifth, spatial comfortablity shrouded by loose design. As a result, the study demonstrates that Oriental sensitivity implicative at the modem fashion, prior to its formativeness, shed out a clue of the Oriental profound spirits in its fashion style.
