Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a promising technology for high speed multimedia communication in a frequency selective multipath channel. In this paper, Software IPs for the synchronizer of IEEE 802.11a Wireless LAN system are designed and optimized for TI's TMS320C6201 fixed point DSP. As a result of the execution cycles of the target DSP for each functions of the system, an efficient HW/SW partitioning method can be considered.

Quality science may be defined as the subject promoting both quality and productivity, which may include quality management, quality engineering and technology innovation. The research and application of quality science have been in existence for many years in China. This report first reviews its recent history as well as the analysis of the status quo. Finally, a prospectus and comments section for the future of quality science points out the development trends and its significant effectiveness on China's modem economics.

SSB(Single Sideband) modulation scheme is high bandwidth efficient method in the mobile communication system compared with present DSB(Double Sideband) modulation scheme. Using the othogonality between inphase PN code and Hilbert transformed quadrature PN code, we propose phase estimation structure that enables coherent demodulation in the reverse link basestation receiver Several system characteristics, bit error rate and phase error variance, are simulated and compared with balanced QPSK DS/CDMA system. To verify system performance, SSB/BPSK-DS/CDMA test board is implemented using FPGA chips.

This paper has studied a remote AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) system using the power line and the telephone line as a communication media and the digital power meter. In the developed system, because we have used the power line and telephone, the facility is very easy and then its cost is not expensive. The system includes following elements: a digital power meter, an indoor communication system using a power line modem and a telephone line interface system for sending data to the utility company.

This study was carried out to investigate the loss amount of collection at the different of precipitatation time, high voltage and gas speed. This work has focused on the dependence of the collection efficiency in the collector zone with gas speed and high voltage. This advanced Model is developed by research of the different parameter as the conventionnal modem of study. In order to investigate collection efficiency of electrostatic precipitator, the loss amount of knocking was measured with Monitek-Treubung and the particle size was analyzed by He-Ne laser diffraction spectroscopy.

In modem buildings, the concept of open-space plan gets more acceptance as it supports more flexibility for the internal space design. This open-space can be easily subdivided by internal partitioning to provide each individual working zone. Although the partitioning forms each physical working zone, its indoor environment could be different Iron what the occupants require. Especially the air movement and contaminant spread in each working zone could be blocked or distorted by the partitioning, which may produce unexpected change in ventilation performance designed. 이제 기계기술은 전자기술과 더불어 새로운 메카트로닉스(mechatronics)를 구성하여 한 분야로 발전하고 있다. 현재 우리의 천연자원은 빈약하고 고도의 경제성장을 지속적으로 이룩하기 위해, 기계기술분야 중에서도 기술집약적이고 고부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 분야를 개척하므로써, 수 입대체와 수출수요 창출효과를 기대할 수 있다. 메카트로닉스 제품은 산업상 모든 분야에 적 용되나 특히 정보기기의 경우 모든 제품이 이에 해당된다. 여기에는 컴퓨터, 보조기억장치, 터 어미녈, 프린터, 팩시밀리, PPC(Plain Paper Copier), 모뎀(modem), 워드프로세서, 전자식 타자기 등등 여러 제품이 있다. 본 고에서는 지면관계상 이중에서 우리가 중점 개발투자로 역점을 두 고자 하는 컴퓨터 주변기기들의 현황을 진단해 보고 타 분야에 대해서는 다음 기호에 언급하기로 하겠다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the constructing factors and the hierarchy of the female clothing image evaluation made by male university students. 'rho instruments developed by the precedent study of In Hee Chung(1992) was used compare the female clothing image evaluation made by male university students with that by (emale students. The results were 1. 5 factor - modernity, grace, activeness, uniqueness, masculinity were found out as constructors of female clothing image evaluation made by male university student. 2. Eleven clusters were determinted to exist. The clusters classified as the main groups were 'modem and romantic image' and 'classic and straight image.'

In Current Digital $C^3$ Devices(Communication, Computer, Consumer electronic devices), Reed-Solomon encoder is essentially used. For example we should use RS encoder in DSP LSI of CDMA Mobile and Base station modem, in controller LSI of DVD Recorder and that of computer memory(HDD or SSD memory). In this paper, we propose new economical multiplierless (also without divider) RS encoder design method. The encoder has Arbitrary parity positions.

본 논문에서는 초고속 위성통신에 적용하기 위한 적응형 모뎀을 구현함에 있어서 TCM 복호기의 구조를 간단히 하기 위한 방안으로, BPSK 또는 QPSK 변복조에서 사용하는 비터비 복호기를 8PSK의 TCM 복호기에서도 사용할 수 있는 Pragmatic TCM 복호방식이 효율적임을 알 수 있었고, 22.5도에서부터 8-PSK 성상도를 매핑시키는 방법이 복호기 구조를 간단히 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
