  • The best 'hub' to communicate with the citizen is using social media to marketing the business. However, there has several issued and the most common issue that face in critical is a capital issue. This issue is always highlight because most of automatic sentiment detection tool for Facebook or any other social media price is expensive and they lack of technical skills in order to control the tool. Therefore, in directly they have some obstacle to get faster product's feedback from customers. Thus, the personal online retailing need to struggle to stay in market because they need to compete with successful online company such as G-market. Sentiment analysis also known as opinion mining. Aim of this research is develop the tool that allow user to automatic detect the sentiment comment on social media account. RAD model methodology is chosen since its have several phases could produce more activities and output. Soppy tool will be develop using Microsoft Visual. In order to generate an accurate sentiment detection, the functionality testing will be use to find the effectiveness of this Soppy tool. This proposed automated Soppy Tool would be able to provide a platform to measure the impact of the customer sentiment over the postings on their social media site. • Based on Trifuilac's empirical model to transform earthquake acceleration time history in the time domain into Fourier amplitude spectrum in the frequency domail an earthquake scaling technique for simulating the earthquake record of certain magnitude as the required magnitude earthquake was suggested. Also, using the earthquake record of magni dude(M) 5.8, the simulated earthquake of magnitude(M) 8.0 was established and its application to dynamic testing system was proposed. The earthquake scaling technique could be considered by several terms : earthquake magnitude(M), earthquake intensity(MMI), epicentral distance, recording site conditions, component direction and confidence level required by the analysis. Albo, it had an application to the various earthquake records. The simulated earthquake in this study was established by two orthogonal horizontal components of earthquake acceleration-time history. The simulated earthquake shaking could be applied to the dynamic pile load test for the model tension pile and the model compressive open -ended piles driven into the pressure chamber. In the static pile load test, behavior of two piles was very different and after model tension pile experienced 2 or 3 successive slips of the pile relative to the soil, it was failed completely. During the simulated earthquake shaking, dynamic behavior and pile capacity degradation of two piles were very different.

  • Terzaghi's one-dimensional consolidation theory has some important assumption, which can't be applicable to predict the behavior of soft clay ground. Especially, predictions using infinitesimal strain and linear material function related with permeability can give rise to mistake in comparison with the result of real behavior in site. For this reason, Gibson et al. established a rigorous formulation for the one-dimensional nonlinear finite strain consolidation theory, which can consider non-linearity of material function. But it is difficult to apply this theory to predict the behavior of common soft clay ground with vertical drain. In this study, consolidation model which can consider the vertical and horizontal flow of a fully saturated clay layer, self-weight of soil and nonlinear characteristics of compressibility and permeability are derived. Numerical analysis scheme, which can be applied to consolidation analysis by derived consolidation model in this study was developed. The characteristics of material function were examined using laboratory testing such as standard consolidation test, Rowe-cell test and modified consolidation test.

  • This paper presents field study and numerical modeling results for a single-cell low-fill concrete box culvert under a flexible pavement subjected to traffic loading. The culvert in the field test was instrumented with displacement transducers to capture the deformations resulting from different combinations of static and traffic loads. A low-boy truck with a known axle configuration and loads was used to apply seven static load combinations and traffic loads at different speeds. Deflections under the culvert roof were measured during loading. Soil and pavement samples were obtained by drilling operation on the test site. The properties of the soil and pavement layers were determined in the laboratory. A 3-D numerical model of the culvert was developed using a finite difference program FLAC3D. Linear elastic models were used for the pavement layers and soil. The numerical results with the material properties determined in the laboratory were compared with the field test results. The observed deflections in the field test were generally smaller under moving loads than static loads. The maximum deflections measured during the static and traffic loads were 0.6 mm and 0.41 mm respectively. The deflections computed by the numerical method were in good agreement with those observed in the field test. The deflection profiles obtained from the field test and the numerical simulation suggest that the traffic load acted more like a concentrated load distributed over a limited area on the culvert. Elastic models for culverts, pavement layers, and surrounding soil are appropriate for numerical modeling of box culverts under loading for load rating purposes.

  • On-site monitoring of vegetable growth parameters, such as leaf length, leaf area, and fresh weight, in an agricultural field can provide useful information for farmers to establish farm management strategies suitable for optimum production of vegetables. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are currently gaining a growing interest for agricultural applications. This study reports on validation testing of previously developed vegetable growth estimation models based on UAV-based RGB images for white radish and Chinese cabbage. Specific objective was to investigate the potential of the UAV-based RGB camera system for effectively quantifying temporal and spatial variability in the growth status of white radish and Chinese cabbage in a field. RGB images were acquired based on an automated flight mission with a multi-rotor UAV equipped with a low-cost RGB camera while automatically tracking on a predefined path. The acquired images were initially geo-located based on the log data of flight information saved into the UAV, and then mosaicked using a commerical image processing software. Otsu threshold-based crop coverage and DSM-based crop height were used as two predictor variables of the previously developed multiple linear regression models to estimate growth parameters of vegetables. The predictive capabilities of the UAV sensing system for estimating the growth parameters of the two vegetables were evaluated quantitatively by comparing to ground truth data. There were highly linear relationships between the actual and estimated leaf lengths, widths, and fresh weights, showing coefficients of determination up to 0.7. However, there were differences in slope between the ground truth and estimated values lower than 0.5, thereby requiring the use of a site-specific normalization method.

  • Aging aircraft accumulates widespread fatigue damage commonly referred to as multiple site damage(MSO). For ductile material such as 2024-T3 aluminum, MSO may lower the service life below that which is predicted by conventional fracture mechanics. The present paper is concerned with the fatigue life extension by pre-indentation technique for thin 2024-T3 aluminum plate to decelerate the crack propagation rate in the panels with MSO. The panel with fastener holes can be simply modelled by Hole/Slot type Middle-Tension specimen. Results of fatigue testing show significantly improving failure cycles from 10 to 40 times. This retardation effect is decreased by increasing the loading level in the constant amplitude loading. In the sense of retardation mechanism, the crack propagation rate is gradually attenuated by entering the indentation mark and maintains at the lowest value for a long period after the edge of crack passes the center of indentation area.

  • Major projects and research topics in the field of rock mechanics are analyzed to obtain the following results: $\cdot$ Rock mechanics deals with the behavior of deformation, failure and displacement of the rock and rock mass on the basis of geological basics. Discontinuities in the rock mass are the most important parameters to control the behavior of rock mass around underground openings. $\cdot$ The objective of site investigation and testing is to determine the strength properties of the rock mass and the in situ stress regime. Specimens for laboratory and in situ tests are to be selected in order that the results of the tests give the representative properties oi the rock mass of the site in question. $\cdot$ The result of a numerical model would be better evaluated not quantitatively but qualitatively. The displacement behavior of the rock mass has to be monitored properly for the NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) principles. $\cdot$ The stability of rock slope is to be evaluated preferably by back analysis with strength parameters, such as cohesion and friction angle.

  • The full-scale measurements are compared with the wind tunnel test results for the long-span roof latticed spatial structure of Shenzhen Citizen Center. A direct comparison of model testing results to full-scale measurements is always desirable, not only in validating the experimental data and methods but also in providing better understanding of the physics such as Reynolds numbers and scale effects. Since the quantity and location of full-scale measurements points are different from those of the wind tunnel tests taps, the weighted proper orthogonal decomposition technique is applied to the wind pressure data obtained from the wind tunnel tests to generate a time history of wind load vector, then loads acted on all the internal nodes are obtained by interpolation technique. The nodal mean wind pressure coefficients, root-mean-square of wind pressure coefficients and wind pressure power spectrum are also calculated. The time and frequency domain characteristics of full-scale measurements wind load are analyzed based on filtered data-acquisitions. In the analysis, special attention is paid to the distributions of the mean wind pressure coefficients of center part of Shenzhen Citizen Center long-span roof spatial latticed structure. Furthermore, a brief discussion about difference between the wind pressure power spectrum from the wind tunnel experiments and that from the full-scale in-site measurements is compared. The result is important fundament of wind-induced dynamic response of long-span spatial latticed structures.

  • This research aimed at studying the role of self-enhancing imagery and self goal-achievement emotion in the effect of characteristics perceived at advertisements using multisensory cues on purchase intention. Sports shoes advertisement was selected as an empirical research object. Questionnaire survey method was used to collect data. 'WenJuanXing' site was used to make the questionnaire in Chinese, and it was loaded on WeChat and QQ. 260 participants from different regions of China participated in online questionnaire survey. The results of testing the hypotheses by structural equation model in Amos 21.0 program are summarized as followings. The congruency between multisensory cues and self-discrepancy awareness positively evoked the self-enhancing imagery and the self goal-achievement emotion. The object relevance between the consumer and the product advertised did not induce the emotion, but evoked the self-enhancing imagery. Both of the self-enhancing imagery and the self goal-achievement emotion had positive effects on the product purchase intention. When developing advertisement, marketers should focus on multisensory cues' characteristics to enhance the self-enhancing imageries as well as to help feel the goal-achievement emotion. They should pay attention to the ways by which the multisensory cues' characteristics used to develop advertisement can be perceived to be congruent with each other by consumers.
