실험동물에 유발시킨 피부사상균증에 대한 연구 (Study of the Experimental Dermatophyte Infection in Animals)

  • 피부사상균증의 접종방법을 표준화하기 위하여 N. gypsea "+"와 A. benhamiae "+"를 가토, 기니픽, rat, mouse에 정량적으로 접종하여 다음의 결과를 얻었다. 1. 포자의 농도가 높을수록 감염률이 높았고 입상양상이 심하고 일찍 나타나서 오래 지속되었다. 2. 난전, 소피, 강제발모, 단순빈도의 순으로 감염이 잘되어 피부손상의 정도에 비례함을 알 수 있었다. 3. 피부사상균에 대한 감수성은 기니픽, 가토, rat의 순으로 높았고 mouse는 전혀 감염되지 않았다. 4. N. gypsea "+"에 비해 A. benhamiae "+"는 감염률이 높고 입상양상이 더 심하고 빨리 진행되어 조기에 조절되었다.

공개 소프트웨어 기반 e-Learning 시스템 개발 (Development of e-Learning System Based on Open Source Software)

  • 이 논문에서는 공개 소프트웨어 기반의 e-Learning 시스템을 구축하기 위해, 기존 학습 관리 시스템을 비교 분석하여 무들(Moodle)을 선정하였고 학사관리시스템, 스트리밍서비스 등의 기존 시스템들과 연동 운용함으로써, 공개 소프트웨어 기반 e-Learning 시스템의 현실적 가능성을 보였다. 공개 LMS(Learning Management System)인 무들은 LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) 환경을 기반으로 하고 있으며 모듈화 구조를 수용해 사용의 편의성과 확장성을 충분히 제공하고 있다. 또한, 사회적 구성주의 학습 이론을 기반으로 설계, 구현되어 있다는 중요한 장점을 갖고 있다. 개발된 시스템은 대학에서 한 학기 동안 7개 강좌를 혼합 학습 모델로 운영이 되었으며 COLLES(Constructivist On-Line Learning Environment Survey), ATTLS(Attitudes to Thinking and Learning Survey) 설문을 통해 참여자들의 높은 만족도를 확인하였고, 공개 S/W 기반의 안정적 e-Learning 시스템이 가능함을 보였다.

Magnesium Uptake by the Green Microalga Chlorella vulgaris in Batch Cultures

  • The accumulation (internal and superficial distribution) of magnesium ions (Mg2+) by the green freshwater microalga Chlorella vulgaris (C. vulgaris) was investigated under autotrophic culture in a stirred photobioreactor. The concentrations of the three forms of Mg2+ (dissolved, extracellular, and intracellular) were determined with atomic absorption spectroscopy during the course of C. vulgaris growth. The proportions of adsorbed (extracellular) and absorbed (intracellular) Mg2+ were quantified. The concentration of the most important pigment in algal cells, chlorophyll a, increased over time in proportion to the increase in the biomass concentration, indicating a constant chlorophyll/biomass ratio during the linear growth phase. The mean-average rate of Mg2+ uptake by C. vulgaris grown in a culture medium starting with 16 mg/l of Mg2+ concentration was measured. A clear relationship between the biomass concentration and the proportion of the Mg2+ removal from the medium was observed. Of the total Mg2+ present in the culture medium, 18% was adsorbed on the cell wall and 51% was absorbed by the biomass by the end of the experiment (765 h). Overall, 69% of the initial Mg2+ were found to be removed from the medium. This study supported the kinetic model based on a reversible first-order reaction for Mg2+ bioaccumulation in C. vulgaris, which was consistent with the experimental data.

An Analytical Investigation on the Build-up of the Temperature Field due to a Point Heat Source in Shallow Coastal Water with Oscillatory Alongshore-flow

  • The build-up of the heat field in shallow coastal water due to a point source has been investigated using an analytical solution of a time-integral form derived by extending the solutions by Holley(1969) and also presented in Harleman (1971). The uniform water depth is assumed with non-isotropic turbulent dispersion. The alongshore-flow is assumed to be uni-directional, spatially uniform and oscillatory. Due to the presence of the oscillatory alongshore-flow, the heat build-up occurs in an oscillatory manner, and the excess temperature thereby fluctuates in that course and even in the quasi-steady state. A series of calculations reveal that proper choices of the decay coefficient as well as dispersion coefficients are critical to the reliable prediction of the excess temperature field. The dispersion coefficients determine the absolute values of the excess temperature and characterize the shoreline profile, particularly within the tidal excursion distance, while the decay coefficient determines the absolute value of the excess temperature and the convergence rate to that of the quasi-steady state. Within the e-folding time scale $1/k_d$ (where $k_d$ is the heat decay coefficient), heat build-up occurs more than 90% of the quasi-steady state values in a region within a tidal excursion distance (L), while occurs increasingly less the farther we go to the downstream direction (about 80% at 1.25L, and 70% at 1.5L). Calculations with onshore and offshore discharges indicate that thermal spreading in the direction of the shoreline is reduced as the shoreline constraint which controls the lateral mixing is reduced. The importance of collecting long-term records of in situ meteorological conditions and clarifying the definition of the heat loss coefficient is addressed. Interactive use of analytical and numerical modeling is recommended as a desirable way to obtain a reliable estimate of the far-field excess temperature along with extensive field measurements.

  • 본 연구는 학교교육 및 교과연계와 도서관의 자원 활용을 아우르는 협력모델로 이벤트 체험과 컬렉션 체험의 융합 프로그램인 이벤트컬렉션 프로그램의 효과와 활용방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 양적 및 질적 데이터를 이용하여 다각적으로 분석한 결과, 이벤트컬렉션 프로그램의 효과로 학생들의 독서와 도서관의 역할 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 이벤트컬렉션이 주제분류에 의한 자료배열로서는 제공할 수 없는 특정 관심분야와 관련된 다양한 자료를 제시함으로써 학생들에게 새로운 지식 발견 및 그 깊이와 범위의 확장을 통한 지식의 구조화를 지원하고, 전시이벤트 형식의 체험마케팅 요소를 통해 독서자료와 학생의 상호작용 및 공유와 참여를 촉진함으로써 자기주도적 독서에 효과적인 도구임을 제안하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.

해상교통관제사의 위험태도 분석을 통한 선박 충돌 위험도 연구 (A Study on the Degree of Collision Risk through Analysing the Risk Attitude of Vessel Traffic Service Operators)

  • 일반적으로 VTSO(Vessel Traffic Service Operator)는 양 선박의 충돌위험 정도를 판단할 때, 선박들의 침로와 속력, DCPA(Distance to CPA)와 TCPA(Time to CPA) 그리고 양 선박의 조우 상황 등을 종합적으로 고려한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 VTS(Vessel Traffic Service) 관점에서의 선박충돌위험을 예측하는 방법으로 위험지수(Risk Index, RI)를 선박 조우 상황에 따른 위험, 선박 간 근접거리에 따른 위험 그리고 접근시간에 따른 위험으로 나누어 구하고, VTSO의 위험 태도를 반영한 충돌 위험도를 제안하였다. 위험지표의 각 계수와 위험 태도는 VTSO 설문을 실시하여 구하였고, 제안한 위험도의 타당성 검증을 위하여 부산항의 실제 사고 사례에 ES(Environmental Stress) 모델의 교통 환경 스트레스치($ES_S$)을 함께 적용하여 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • 정보시스템 장애는 단순한 소프트웨어 오류에서부터 프로그램 시험 미비, 물리적인 방재시설 미비 등 다양하다. 비록 장애가 사소하더라도 그 결과는 엄청난 피해를 야기 시키기도 한다. 최근에는 이런 문제를 해결하는데 있어 단순한 외부 보안시스템만으로는 어렵게 되었다. 이제는 기업의 전반적인 정보기술에 대해 위험과 관련된 종합적인 대응책 수립과 적절한 대응이 필요한 시점에 도래하였다. 이와 관련하여 본 논문에서는 조직체 내에서 IT자원에 대한 무결성, 가용성, 기밀성을 고려하여 조직 내부와 외부에서 발생할 수 있는 각종 정보 및 시스템과 데이터에 대한 통제는 물론이고 위험에도 대처 할 수 있는 종합적인 위험관리시스템을 모델링하기 위한 특성에 대해 연구하였다.

조정합의 성립의 결정요인에 대한 실증적 분석 (An Empirical Analysis on Critical Factors in Reaching Mediation Agreements)

Preface It is widely understood that the 21st century, with the development of information technology(IT) and the spread of networks, will be called a digital economy where information-driven business will be norm rather than the smokestack economy of the past. And the drastically changed world market is expected to generate even more commercial transactions across the world creating large numbers of legal disputes. Therefore, each country will attempt to develop ADR(Alternative Dispute Resolution) as an alternative to judicial proceedings in order to cope with not only the ever-increasing international commercial claims but also domestic legal disputes. Taking this reality into account, this study begins with an exploration of mediation procedure as a way of helping the court faced with its overwhelming numbers of lawsuits. And also this study makes a theoretical comparison between ADR and mediation procedure, analyzing critical factors affecting the mediation agreement. Furthermore, it is designed to find ways for disputing parties to make better use of mediation and ensure fairness to the parties involved. It tries to enhance mediators' understanding of critical factors influencing the mediation agreement and their ability to handle commercial disputes in a more efficient way. To make an empirical analysis of these factors, bibliographic research and questionnaire were used. This analysis will fill the gap between the theory and reality, and make possible the structured research on the factors. Therefore, this study sets the model by which we can evaluate how the three critical factors (parties' inclination, mediators' characteristics, institutional features) affect the parties reaching a mediation agreement. Based on this analysis, a theoretical hypothesis was built and a questionnaire was made and distributed. During the course of this work, SPSSWIN 10.0 program was applied.

Effects of IL-3 and SCF on Histamine Production Kinetics and Cell Phenotype in Rat Bone Marrow-derived Mast Cells

  • Background: Rat mast cells were regarded as a good model for mast cell function in immune response. Methods: Rat bone marrow mast cells (BMMC) were prepared both by recombinant rat IL-3 (rrIL-3) and by recombinant mouse stem cell factor (rmSCF), and investigated for both proliferation and differentiation in time course. Rat BMMC was induced by culture of rat bone marrow cells (BMCs) in the presence of both rrIL-3 (5 ng/ml) and rmSCF (5 ng/ml). Culture media were changed 2 times per week with the cell number condition of $5{\times}10^4/ml$ in 6 well plate. Proliferation was analyzed by cell number and cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and differentiation was by rat mast cell protease (RMCP) II and histamine. Results: Cell proliferation rates reached a maximum at 8 or 11 days of culture and decreased thereafter. However, both RMCP II production and histamine synthesis peaked after 11 days of culture. By real time RT-PCR, the level of histidine decarboxylase mRNA was more than 500 times higher on culture day 11 than on culture day 5. By transmission electron microscopy, the cells were heterogeneous in size and contained cytoplasmic granules. Using gated flow cytometry, we showed that cultured BMCs expressed high levels of $Fc{\varepsilon}RI$ and the mast cell antigen, ganglioside, on culture day 11. Conclusion: These results indicate that rat BMMCs were generated by culturing BMCs in the presence of rrII-3 and rmSCF and that the BMMCs have the characteristics of mucosal mast cells.
