사회적 지원과 돈의 중요성 및 고마움, 그리고 선물구매에서 지불의 기쁨 (Mediating Roles of Perceived Money Importance and Gratitude in the Effects of Social Support on Pleasure in Spending for Other-gift)

  • Purpose - A lot of preceeding studies have focused on the pains that might be felt in spending money, that is an important role in getting psychological safety. Money and social resources can be all for consumers, and they are likely to form a substituting relationship with one another. Being motivated by the idea that spending money for others can come with joy if one's objective is accomplished by social support, this paper aimed to explore the mediating role of the perceived money importance and gratitude in the relationship between social support and pleasure in spending for other-gift. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - In this empirical study, the experimental group is expected to receive social support while the control group is composed of those who are usually indulged in reminiscences of their sweethearts. From the college students, 160 experiment participants were selected and 80 participants of them were assigned to control group as well as to experimental group respectively at random. Empirical study for each of the two groups was performed respectively by means of questionnaire survey. Experimental group data and control group data were combined together to be used for testing hypotheses. Linear structural equation model in Amos was used to verify the hypotheses, and Bootstrap was also used to examine whether there were the mediating roles of the perceived money importance and gratitude or not. Results - From the empirical study, following conclusions could be drawn: First, social support of others makes one perceive the importance of money less; Second, social support of others makes one perceive gratitude to others; Third, less perceived importance of money and gratitude to others can make one feel pleasure in spending for other-gift; and Fourth, less perceived importance of money and gratitude to others can partially mediate the effect of social support from others on the pleasure in spending for other-gift. Conclusions - The outcomes of this study might offer theoretic and managerial implications as follow: Even though many hitherto studies have asserted that spending money usually comes with pains, this study discovered that social support might reduce perceived the importance of money but make others feel gratitude and, thus, one would feel joy in spending money to buy gift for others, and made a contribution to the progress of the theory of pleasure in spending for other-gift. This paper also made contributions toward the development of emotion marketing theory by showing that the effect of social support on the pleasure in spending for other-gift could be partially mediated by the perceived the importance of money and gratitude to others. Based on the above conclusions, it may be affirmed that marketers should help consumers perceive the importance of money less, and help feel gratitude to others by pointing up the support of others to consumers in an attempt to accelerate spending for other-gift.

지하철 승강장에서 열차 화재시 제연모드에 따른 화재 안전성 평가 연구 (A study on the evaluation of fire safety according to the ventilation mode in a train fire at the subway platform)

  • 본 연구에서는 지하철 승강장에서 화재가 발생하는 경우, 제연모드에 따른 위험도를 정량적 위험도 평가기법에 따라서 비교하여 안전확보에 가장 효과적인 제연모드를 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 전형적인 지하철 승장장을 모델로 하여 제연모드별로 대피개시간 및 화재발생열차의 위치에 따른 화재발생 시나리오를 작성하고, 시나리오별로 화재발생률(F)을 산정하고 화재해석과 대피해석을 수행하여 사망자수(N)를 정량적으로 추정하였다. 시나리오별 사고발생률(Frequency)과 사망자수(N:Fatalities)를 추정하여 F/N 선도로 작성하고 이를 사회적 위험도 평가기준과 비교하여 화재 안전성을 평가하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 정거장 열차화재 시 인명안전을 위해서는 최대 600 s 이전에 대피가 개시되어야 하며, 정거장 양단배기 시스템이 없는 승강장에서는 승강장 공조시스템을 급기로 운영하여 승강장을 가압하는 것이 대피안전성 확보에 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 승강장 열차화재시나리오에 따른 F/N선도를 작성하여 사회적 위험도 평가기준과 비교한 결과, 제연을 하지 않는 경우에는 한계기준을 상당히 초과하며, 양단배기를 수행하고 승강장을 가압운전모드에서 운영하는 제연모드가 대피안전에 가장 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

Effects of Shop Selection Attributes, Lifestyle on Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Orientation of Franchise Beauty Shop Users

  • Purpose: The hotel industry needs a leader who can actively demonstrate leadership to respond to and accept changes in the organization in a highly competitive and fast-changing environment. Therefore, the role of leaders who instill clear vision and goals of the organization in their members, listen to their opinions, and empathize is paramount. Leaders should encourage successful organizational activities based on active participation by employees and create the best environment for working with a sense of mission and responsibility. This study aims to identify the relationship between empathy leadership and job engagement as a result variable of team cohesion in the hotel culinary department and conduct empirical studies on the role of empathy leadership and job engagement. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from employees who work in culinary department at a five-star franchise hotel located in the Seoul metropolitan area. Because it is difficult to conduct a survey through face-to-face contact with employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the online survey was conducted from February 1 to February 28, 2020. A total of 330 questionnaires through online were distributed and 268 employees completed the survey, yielding a response rate of 81%. Of the 268 returned responses, 27 responses were not usable due to missing information. Thus, a total of 241 responses were used for analysis. Results: The study results are as follows. First, it has been shown that the empathy leadership of culinary department in hotel companies has a significant positive impact on the job engagement. Second, it has been shown that job engagement has a significant positive effect on members' team cohesiveness. Third, empathy leadership of hotel companies' culinary department has a significant positive impact on members' team cohesiveness. Fourth, job engagement has a significant positive (+) mediating effect in the relationship between empathy leadership and team cohesiveness in culinary department. Conclusion: This study supports the theory that an emotional and empathic leader's behavior or ability can change the effectiveness or atmosphere of a rapidly changing hotel culinary team organization by presenting a research model on the effect of empathic leadership on job engagement and team cohesiveness. And hotel chefs should be more aware of the importance of empathic leadership and make them a human resource of the organization through formal and informal communication with culinary employees.

온·오프라인 댓글 분석이 활용된 Word2Vec 기반 상품기획 모델연구: 버티컬 무소음마우스 사용자를 중심으로 (A Study on the Product Planning Model based on Word2Vec using On-offline Comment Analysis: Focused on the Noiseless Vertical Mouse User)

  • 본 논문에서는 버티컬 무소음 마우스 10,000건에 대한 웹크롤링을 통해 수집된 정형화된 데이터셋을 Word2Vec을 이용하여 단어 간 유사도분석을 시행하고 컴퓨터공학과 대학생 92명에게 5일 동안 제시된 상품을 사용하게 하고 자가보고식 설문 분석을 시행하도록 하였다. 설문 분석은 서술식 형태로 수집하여 단어빈도 분석과 단어 간 유사도분석에서 추출된 상위 50개 단어를 제시하고 선택하는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 전자상거래 사용자 상품평 유사도 분석결과 내용 중 클릭 키워드에 대한 장점으로 통증(.985), 디자인(.963)가 분석되었으며 단점은 가볍다(.952), 적응(.948)이었다. 서술식 빈도분석에서는 버티컬(123개), 통증(118개)이 가장 많이 선택 되었으며 장/단점 유사단어를 선택에 해당되는 장점에서는 버티컬(83개), 통증(75개) 선택 되었으며 단점에서는 적응(89개), 버튼(72개)이었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 적용한 방식을 상품기획 프로세스의 신상품 개발 및 기존 상품의 검토 전략으로 반영 시 중견기업, 중소기업의 의사결정자와 상품기획자는 의사결정에 중대한 자료로 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Effect of Five-Star Franchise Hotel Chef's Empathy Leadership on Job Engagement and Team Cohesiveness

  • 다이나믹 이미지 예술은 실험 영화, 비디오 아트, 뉴미디어 아트라는 세 가지 주요 유형이 있다. 모든 새로운 재료와 미디어를 예술에 도입하여 예술 창작에 더 큰 자유를 가져왔다. 디지털 정보기술의 발달로 다이나믹 영상 이미지 제작에 있어 고도의 시각 예술적 요구가 증가하고 있다. 다이나믹 이미지와 착시 현상의 조합에서 파생될 수 있는 다양한 형태와 표현 방법은 예술 작품을 더욱 생생하게 만든다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 디지털 다이나믹 영상 기술과 착시현상의 결합을 중심으로 한 공간의 재구성에 초점을 두고 있다. 또한 다이나믹 이미지 개발 맥락에서 시각과 착시의 관계를 살펴보고자 한다. 끝으로 폴 셔면의 작품 분석을 통해 그 합리적인 결합을 찾아볼 수 있다. 적절한 기술적 구현 수단으로 디지털 멀티미디어 기술을 사용하여 공간의 착시 현상을 표현하여 디자인이 더 새롭고 영향력이 있도록 하였다.

수학교과교육학 및 교과내용학 강좌의 대면 및 비대면 운영 결과 비교 분석 (Analysis of the Results between On-Line and Face-to-Face Classes in 'Calculus' & 'Mathematical Education Theory')

  • 본 연구는 예비수학교사 대상의 수학교육론과 미적분학 강좌를 비대면수업으로 진행한 결과와 대면수업으로 진행한 결과 사이의 차가 무엇인지를 살펴보기 위한 목적으로 진행하였다. 본 연구의 대상인 '수학교육론' 및 '미적분학' 강좌의 비대면수업은 '비대면수업 수업설계 모형'에 근거하여 계획, 개발, 실행되고 평가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 수학교과교육학 및 수학교과내용학 강좌운영에서 '비대면수업/혼합수업'과 '대면수업'의 차이가 무엇인지 살펴보았고, 수학교과교육학 과목과 수학교과내용학 과목에 대한 비대면수업에 대한 학생들의 인식을 조사하였으며, '수학교육론' 강좌와 '미적분학' 강좌에서 비대면수업과 대면수업에서 평가결과의 차가 있는지 분석하였다. 향후 예비수학교사교육에서 비대면수업 및 혼합수업 역량이 향상될 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 지속적인 연구가 수행되길 기대한다.

Detection of Earnings Management as a Measure of Income Smoothing on Fluctuations in Exchange Rates: Managerial Implications for Korean Exporters

  • Purpose - Foreign Exchange Rates (FER) have been one of the most significant factors for both Korean exporters and the economy of Korea. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether exporters with a high level of Exchange Rate Elasticity of Sales (ERES) make the use of earnings management for Income Smoothing (IS). Design/methodology - Income smoothing was obtained using the methodology suggested by Leuz, Nanda and Wysocki (2003). Accruals-based Earnings Management (AEM) was estimated using Discretionary Accruals (DA) calculated by the operant Jones Model developed by Dechow, Sloan and Sweeney (1995). Real Earnings Management (REM) was obtained using the methodologies suggested by Roychowdhury (2006) and Cohen and Zarowin (2010). Data were 2,402 firm years of public listed companies on the KRX, which were not in the financial industry and had a settlement of accounts in December for the period from 2013 to 2017. Findings - Results of the evaluation are as follows. First, companies with higher levels of ERES have relatively lower levels of smoothing of reported income. This might be because a fluctuation in sales caused by an exchange rate fluctuation has a direct impact on the volatility of the reported income. Second, companies with high levels of both ERES and IS have a positive correlation with both AEM and REM. This might be because companies with high levels of IS engage in earnings management to smooth reported income. Specifically, it is possible to assume that for smoothing the reported income, not only AEM but also REM is practiced. Third, companies with high levels of ERES but low levels of IS have a negative correlation with both AEM and REM. This could be interpreted as companies exhibiting low levels of IS due to higher levels of ERES tend to control IS. In addition, such results were supported by firms relying highly on exporting, and are consequently sensitive to exchange rate fluctuation. Therefore, it may conclude that companies with high levels of ERES make the use of earnings management as a means of IS. Originality/value - This study can find its significance from the fact that it is the first study, empirically verifying that companies of Korea, where exportation is a large part, use both AEM and REM as a means for smoothing reported income upon facing exchange rate fluctuations. In addition, it is highly expected that the results of this study could be useful for participants of financial markets when making IS-related decisions.

조류충돌 해석을 통한 헬리콥터 복합재 로터 블레이드 구조 건전성 평가 (Structural Integrity Assessment of Helicopter Composite Rotor Blade by Analyzing Bird-strike Resistance)

  • 조류 충돌은 항공 운항에서 안전에 관한 가장 중요한 설계 요인이며 고정익 및 회전익 항공기에 심각한 손상을 가하는 원인 중 하나로 분류된다. 본 연구를 통해 조류 충돌 과정을 오일러-라그랑지안 기법을 적용하여 헬리콥터에 장착된 복합재 블레이드의 응답을 MSC.DYTRAN 소프트웨어로 모사하였다. 임의의 라그랑지안 오일러리안(ALE) 방법과 적절한 상태 방정식을 선정하여 조류 모델링에 적용하여 복합재로 구성된 로터 블레이드의 앞전의 조류충돌 구조 건전성을 입증하였다. 조류충돌 해석을 적용하기 위해서 블레이드 앞전 물성치와 조류의 강도와 물성의 차이가 크기 때문에, 충돌 후 조류의 파편을 유체로 가정하여 Euler 요소로 적용하였다. 조류충돌 해석을 통해 설계된 로터 블레이드의 앞전 구조는 조류 충돌에 대해 새의 크기(50.8mm)를 적용하여 TSAI-FILL 파괴기준으로 1.18의 여유마진을 확인하였다. 복합재 블레이드의 조류충돌 해석 결과는 충분히 신뢰성을 가진 것으로 평가되며 다양한 해석조건으로 시험을 대체할 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 향후 제시된 방법으로 다양한 하중 조건, 다양한 조류 모델링을 적용하여 로터 블레이드의 구조 안정성을 평가할 수 있다.

복합임무 무인수상정의 마스트 및 특수임무장비 장착부 설계 및 강도해석 (Design and Strength Analysis of a Mast and Mounting Part of Dummy Gun for Multi-Mission Unmanned Surface Vehicle)

  • 본 논문에서는 해상에서 수상감시정찰 및 수중탐색임무를 수행할 수 있는 복합임무 무인수상정을 설계하였으며, 설계된 복합임무 무인수상정의 선체부는 유리섬유강화플라스틱을 이용하여 제작하였다. 수상감시정찰 및 자율운항 임무를 수행하기 위해 레이더, 라이다, 카메라 등과 같은 다양한 항법센서를 마스트에 장착하였으며, 특수임무를 수행하기 위한 더미건 장비를 선수부 갑판에 장착하였다. 악천후의 해상상태에서 주어진 임무를 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서는 갑판에 탑재된 구조물들에 대한 강성확보가 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 정하중, 횡하중 및 수직방향 운동에 따른 마스트 구조물의 강도해석 및 더미건 장비의 충격량에 대한 선체부의 강도해석을 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과에 따라 본 연구에서 설계된 마스트 구조물 및 더미건 장착부의 선체부는 충분한 강성을 확보하고 있음을 확인하였다.
