Policy introducing open access to the wireless network has been under discussion in the Korean mobile telecommunications industry. The policy, which directs mobile operators to allow mobile portals other than their own ones to access their network and subscribers, is expected to vitalize mobile Internet market through competition among portals. This study analyzes the impact of the policy in terms of welfare of mobile Internet users and profit of mobile contents providers. We demonstrate a next-generation high-capacity mobile fronthaul based on radio over fiber (RoF) technology, which links between a digital unit and a radio unit supporting two frequency assignments and $2{\times}2$ multiple input, multiple output antennas. To confirm the technical feasibility of a mobile fronthaul, we experimentally investigate its down- and uplink end-to-end performances including the optical and radio frequency (RF) signal path. Frequency-dependent performance deviations, error vector magnitude variations, overall system performance variations caused by optical to electrical conversion, and intermediate frequency to RF conversions are examined. Experimental verifications on multiple LTE uplink signals are performed for the first time. We also demonstrate several commercial mobile Internet services, YouTube video streaming, and file transfers using off-the-shelf mobile devices, through a mobile fronthaul based on RoF.

In this research, we have developed a model that can explain the potential customer's needs for the potable Internet service, a concept with 'QoS guaranteed lower-price high speed mobile Internet service. Based on the developed model, we have also derived some empirical implications for the business firms interest in the potable Internet market. The developed model is incorporating a survey result, answering of potential customer's attitude for the portable Internet service, from the subscribers to the Internet service, wireless LAN service, and mobile Internet service. As a result, we have found that a very innovative group, such as wireless LAN users and 20's age group using mobile Internet service, could be the most attractive market segment. Moreover, the aspects of the service coverage and the price competitiveness at the service launching stage could be the most critical success factors for the portable Internet service.

The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristic of mobile commerce based on mobile internet and diagnose obstacles and suggest promotional plans in terms of for mobile commerce. First of all, this study defines the concept of mobile internet and mobile commerce as on, and then analyzes the characteristic and the status quo of mobile commerce in the aspect of technology and business and customer. In conclusion this study there are many problems to overcome to expand mobile commerce environment. However, the environment of internet is moving from online to wireless and the volume of e-commerce through internet is growing rapidly. Thus, mobile commerce will be a matter of course in information society.

The mobile internet service market is growing very rapidly in Korea. This study outlines the current state of mobile internet services and analyzes the mobile contents types of media companies, especially newspapers, broadcasters and internet portal firms. As a result of this study, media companies provide generally different types of news and information for free and they are eager to develop the new mobile business models to maintain their power in new media. But mobile content distribution is still in the early stages due to the lack of clear business models. To satisfy the consumer's needs and to maintain the competitive advantages, the media companies should develop new business models and cooperate with other market participants to reduce the barriers in the mobile internet service market.

As the mobile Internet spreads around the globe, a cross-national difference in the use of mobile services has become an important issue. The goal of this study is to propose and verity cross-national differences in the effect of each value-type on user satisfaction with the mobile Internet. We propose an analytic framework of four different types of value and apply this model to the value structures of mobile Internet users in two different countries. Large-scale online surveys were conducted in Korea and Hong Kong simultaneously with the same questionnaire. Results show that the relationships between the value components and user satisfaction varied between the two countries.

Information centric mobile network can significantly improve the data retrieving efficiency by caching contents at mobile edge. However, the cache pollution attack can affect the data obtaining process severely by requiring unpopular contents deliberately. To tackle the problem, we design an algorithm of mitigating cache pollution attacks in information centric mobile network. Particularly, the content popularity distribution statistic is proposed to detect abnormal behavior. Then a probabilistic caching strategy based on abnormal behavior is applied to dynamically maintain the steady-state distribution for content visiting probability and achieve the purpose of defense. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme can achieve higher request hit ratio and smaller latency for false locality content pollution attack than the CacheShield approach and the baseline approach where no mitigation approach is applied.

With the recent growth in smartphone services, the "mobile" environment has become a key factor to consider in the design of the future Internet. In this paper, we propose Mobile-Oriented Future Internet (MOFI), which is a new architecture for the future Internet for mobile-oriented environments. The MOFI architecture is designed with three functional features: global identifier and local locator in the identifier-locator separation, query-first data delivery for route optimization, and distributed control of identifier-locator mapping. The proposed architecture and functional operations are implemented and tested using the Linux platform. From the experiment results, we see that the MOFI architecture performs better than the existing identifier-locator separation schemes, such as Proxy Mobile IP and Host Identity Protocol, in terms of data throughout, mapping control overhead, and handover delay.

The development of the mobile communication has been enlarged gradually and has been changed voice centered services into data centered ones supporting Internet to provide various kinds of mobile internet services. The users using mobile communication are increasing for its easy handcarried and movement and the information in internet based upon wire communication has been changed into mobile communication fast. The development of mobile internet requires various mobile contents using mobile internet at any time and at any place due to rapid enhance of network capacity and mobile internet according to network expansion. To accept these needs, there are many difficult problems that contents must be remade according to various terminal features and the develoument costs much. To solve these problems, this paper has the pun)me that contents of Web documents are changed and processed through XML palter and design new mobile contents system, providing mobile services rapidly and obtaining the charge reduction result with the enhance of contents development to the shortening of a development Period.
