The mobile telecommunication service industry plays major role of the realization to the perfect information society in the 21st century and has a great influence in society and culture. The government has enticed the mobile company to keep up to make the mobile service fee low. In this situation, this paper estimates consumer surplus and price elasticity with on-line survey data from the consumer of mobile service. The total estimated consumer surplus of the market is reached to 6.43trillion won. The consumer surplus from SKT is estimated to 4.98trillion won and 1.66trillion won and 0.67trillion won was made by KTF and LGT respectively. The result also shows that consumer surplus is expected to be increased by the increase of the mobile service demand and the sales.

The medical industries are integrated with information technology with mobile devices and wireless communication. The advent of mobile healthcare systems can benefit patients and hospitals, by not only providing better quality of patient care, but also by reducing administrative and medical costs for both patients and hospitals. Security issues present an interesting research topic in wireless and pervasive healthcare networks. As information technology is developed, many organizations such as government agencies, public institutions, and corporations have employed an information system to enhance the efficiency of their work processes. For the past few years, healthcare organizations throughout the world have been adopting health information systems (HIS) based on the wireless network infrastructure. As a part of the wireless network, a mobile agent has been employed at a large scale in hospitals due to its outstanding mobility. Several vulnerabilities and security requirements related to mobile devices should be considered in implementing mobile services in the hospital environment. Secure authentication and protocols with a mobile agent for applying ubiquitous sensor networks in a healthcare system environment is proposed and analyzed in this paper.

We analyzed the effect of 6-month lagged number portability policy and introduction of common number among carriers on Korean mobile market. Our result shows that the policy change contributed to both the increase in number of mobile subscribers and decrease in dominant carrier's market share. We found that unified prefix among mobile operators is more effective than the lagged number portability policy. The carriers' profit, however, decreased a lot due to excessive marketing expenditure. We also estimated market shares of carriers up to year 2005 when full number portability policy is adopted. The results show that dominant carrier's monopolistic power will be recovered by the end of 2005 implying government's number policy itself cannot guarantee the effective competition in Korean mobile market.

Security threats are increasing with interest due to the mass spread of smart devices, and vulnerabilities in developed applications are being exposed while mobile malicious codes are spreading. The government and companies provide various applications for the public, and for reliability and security of applications, security checks are required during application development. In this paper, among the security threats that can occur in the mobile service environment, we set up the vulnerability analysis items to respond to security threats when developing Android-based applications. Based on the set analysis items, vulnerability analysis was performed by examining three applications of public institutions and private companies currently operating as mobile applications. As a result of application security checks used by three public institutions and companies, authority management and open module stability management were well managed. However, it was confirmed that many security vulnerabilities were found in input value verification, outside transmit data management, and data management. It is believed that it will contribute to improving the safety of mobile applications through the case of vulnerability analysis for Android application security.

Korean mobile communications industry has been a main locomotive of the drastic development of Korean IT industry and became one of core industries in national economy. To secure strong competitiveness of mobile communications industry, smooth cooperation should be reconsidered among government, universities, research institutions, and private companies. Future mobile communications technology will be evolved from IMT-2000 to system upgrade, 3.5G and 4G. And the goals of technology development are provision of mobile multimedia services based on better mobility and higher data speed rates. Therefore, Korea's technology development strategies of mobile communications should be focused on intensifying bondage of international cooperation, strengthening standardization activities, and enhancing core technology development capability to secure IPR.

Digital therapeutics (DTx) are utilized to replace or supplement drug therapy to treat patients. DTx are developed as a mobile application for portability and convenience. The government requires security verification to be performed on digital medical devices that manage sensitive information during the transmission and storage of patient data. Although safety verification is included in the approval process for DTx, the cybersecurity checklist used as a reference does not reflect the characteristics of mobile applications. This poses the risk of potentially overlooking vulnerabilities during security verification. This study aims to address this issue by comparing and analyzing existing items based on the mobile tactics, techniques, and procedures of MITRE ATT&CK, which manages globally known and occurring vulnerabilities through regular updates. We identify 16 items that require improvement and expand the checklist to 29 items to propose improvement measures. The findings of this study may contribute to the safe development and advancement of DTx for managing sensitive patient information.

모바일 화폐는 금융 서비스 제공에 혁명을 일으켜 신흥국, 특히 동 아프리카 국가의 금융에 대한 접근성을 향상시킬 수 있는 금융 포용을 가능하게 하는 핵심 요소이다. 따라서 본 연구는 UTAUT2 모델을 이용하여 에티오피아에서 모바일 화폐 서비스를 채택하려는 개인의 행동 의도 및 실제 사용에 영향을 미치는 주요 결정 요인을 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구 모델과 가설은 에티오피아의 여러 지역에서 200명의 응답자를 추출하여 테스트했다. 데이터 분석 결과는 정부 지원, 성과 기대, 촉진 조건, 모바일 화폐 서비스에 대한 신뢰 및 노력 기대가 에티오피아의 모바일 화폐 서비스 사용에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 도출된 반면, 사회적 영향과 낮은 거래 비용 요소는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 모바일 화폐 서비스의 낮은 수수료 책정보다는 적절한 정책과 규정을 통한 모바일 화폐 서비스 활성화를 위한 에티오피아 정부의 적극적 노력과 지원만이 자국의 모바일 화폐 서비스 채택 및 보급을 촉진할 수 있다는 유용한 정보를 제공한다.

페이스북과 같은 모바일 SNS는 모든 사용자들이 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 타인과 협력하고 정보를 공유하기 위한 앱으로 유명하다. 그러나 일반인외에도 앱을 사용하는데 어려움을 가지고 있는 장애인과 고령자가 사용하기에 적절한 인터페이스를 제공하고 있는지에 대한 실태를 확인하기 위해 모바일 앱 접근성을 평가할 필요가 있다. 모바일 앱 접근성은 인지적, 신체적 특징에 상관없이 모든 사람에게 동등하게 모바일 애플리케이션에 대한 기회를 제공하고 있는가를 나타내는 지표이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 행정안전부에서 고시한 '모바일 애플리케이션 접근성 지침'과 한국정보화진흥원의 '모바일 애플리케이션(안드로이드) 접근성 점검 매뉴얼 (v1.0)'을 기반으로 페이스북과 카카오톡인 모바일 SNS의 모바일 앱 접근성을 평가하여, 모바일 앱 접근성 준수 현황을 파악하고, 개선방향을 제안하고자 한다.

최근 휴대전화의 위피 탑재 의무 해제와 스마트 폰 시장의 개방 정책으로 많은 외산 제품들이 국내 시장에 유입되고 있어, 사용자는 다양한 제품을 저렴한 가격으로 구입할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 이러한 변화로 인해 해외에서만 발생해왔던 모바일 악성코드 침해 사고가 곧 국내에서도 발생될 가능성이 매우 높아졌다. 현재 국내에서는 PC용 악성코드에 대한 정형화된 분석 기법과 대응 방안이 널리 알려져 있으나, 모바일 악성코드에 대해서는 대응 준비가 매우 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존의 모바일 악성코드를 소개하고, 모바일 악성코드 분석에 활용 가능한 도구들을 살펴본다. 아울러 현재 모바일 악성코드에 대한 대응 준비가 부족한 국내 현실을 고려하여 모바일 악성코드 분석 방법과 대응 방안을 제시한다.

Recently, digital health has gained the attention of physicians, patients, and healthcare industries. Digital health, a broad umbrella term, can be defined as an emerging health area that uses brand new digital or medical technologies involving genomics, big data, wearables, mobile applications, and artificial intelligence. Digital health has been highlighted as a way of realizing precision medicine, and in addition is expected to become synonymous with health itself with the rapid digitization of all health-related data. In this article, we first define digital health by reviewing the diverse range of definitions among academia and government agencies. Based on these definitions, we then review the current status of digital health, mainly in Korea, suggest points that are missing from the discussion or ought to be added, and provide future directions of digital health in clinical practice by pointing out certain key points.
