The Impact of Convenience Value of Mobile Banking Service on Customer Satisfaction and Re-Usage Intention : The Moderate Effect of Technology Anxiety (모바일 뱅킹 서비스의 편의적 가치가 고객만족과 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 : 기술우려감의 조절효과)

  • As mobile distribution environment is changing rapidly and competition is more intensive in businesses today, technology based self service have been changed and developed. Among the change, financial institutes and consumers are interested in mobile banking services. This study attempted to investigate the impact of service convenience value on customer satisfaction and re-usage intention, and investigated the moderate effect of technology anxiety in the relationship between service convenience value and mobile banking service usage. For this study, data were gathered from respondents who have experience using mobile banking service and analyzed by structural equation model. A convenience value affected consumer satisfaction and re-usage intention toward mobile banking service. Also, this study found that the more technology anxiety, the less re-usage intention. The results show that management and investment to improve convenience value and to reduce technology anxiety make consumers' satisfaction and re-usage intention toward mobile banking service.

  • Purpose - This study intended to investigate ways to influence on the Chinese female consumers' use of mobile payment services. For this purpose, this research investigated the relationships among security and compatibility of the mobile payment service, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, psychological benefit, and intention to use mobile payment. Research design, data, and methodology - This research developed a structural equation model in which the usefulness, the ease of use, and the psychological benefit are predictors and the intention to use is a dependent variable. Data were collected from China female in Jiangsu and Shandong province. Results - Empirical results showed that the security and the compatibility had a positive influence on the usefulness and the ease of use. The usefulness and the ease of use influenced on the psychological benefit respectively and the psychological benefit had a positive influence on the intention to use. Conclusions - This research contributed to the mobile payment service literature by showing how Chinese women consumers adopt the mobile payment service based on TAM. Moreover, current study introduced the security and the compatibility as antecedents of the usefulness and the ease of use and revealed the mediating role of psychological benefit. Managerially, theses results suggested retailing companies ways to influence on the Chinese female consumers' use of mobile payment services.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine whether there are relationships of substitutability or complementarity between the call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile telecommunication services. In order to clarify the relationships, we suggest a model of call demand of fixed telecommunication service which incorporates the variables representing the diffusion of mobile telecommunications subscription and estimate it with relevant time series data. Finally it is shown that there is complementary relationship between the call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile paging services, and it is also found that there is substitutable relationship between the long distance call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile phone services.

  • Mobile financial services with incorporated into IT are actively introduced and being operated worldwide. Meanwhile, a relationship setting of industrial capital and financial capital has a close connection with development process of the financial markets and the economic development. If the relationship setting of industrial capital and financial capital are right, it will be good opportunity to ensure economic development, positive economic effect and global competitiveness of the financial industry as other developed countries. In order to expand the positive effects of these mobile financial services, a ICT companies, etc. should ease regulations to allow entry to the mobile financial services market. That is, the separation of banking and commerce should be abolished.

  • For map services in the mobile environment, it should be considered that resource restriction or the mobile device. on, if a map database dedicated to mobile services may not be developed, the spatial data extracted from general map databases should be simplified before transmitting. % is paper suggests the filtering methods to manipulate the spatial data, which are changed to be able to displayed on the mobile devices. The suggested methods are evaluated by experiments. This method is based on the map generalization operator 'selection' and is refined to adapt on mobile phone environments.

  • There are two approaches to construct mobile GIS, Vector and Raster methods, according to the map data transformation format from server to mobile client. Each method requires a different implementation architecture of server and client modules for mobile map services. And each have advantages and disadvantages at the different aspects. This thesis implements these two approaches, thus, compares the each merits, by experiments. They include the transmission performance, map quality, and so on.

Evaluation of Mobile Bath Service Linked with Home Care Nursing (가정간호와 연계한 이동목욕 서비스 평가)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find a linkage between mobile bathing services and service learning, and a method to activate mobile bathing services. Method: As a descriptive research, it selected evaluation factors from the aspects of structure, process, and result and analyzed 25-month activities. The data analysis was done with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and contents analysis. Result: The mobile bathing services were performed for 67 days during the evaluation period and it was 88.2% of the number of expected activity days. The volunteers participated in the activities were 293 and they provided the service for 124 people. The expense per service provision was 97,771 won. Both recipients and volunteers were highly satisfied with this service. Also, the broadcasting on the activities and awards enhanced volunteers' pride. Conclusion: The mobile bathing services linked with the service program as a part of major course. In particular, the service strengthens problem-solving abilities of nursing students, so it is necessary to develop the mobile bathing services into the service program in pursuit of learning by action.

  • In the mobile industry, customer complaints play a significant role in retaining customer loyalty to the services provided. Thanks to user complaints, mobile service providers can effectively identify problems and then propose solutions to adapt or improve their services. Hence, it's critical to understand the relationship between consumer complaints and satisfaction with mobile services. While several studies have shown that customer satisfaction is an intermediary variable that explains customer complaint intention, there have been few studies on the relationship between pre-determinants of their satisfaction, leaving a gap in our understanding of customer complaint intention. To demonstrate an in-depth approach to this matter, authors revisit justice theory and suggest trust and perceived responsibility variables be combined into a research model. A cross-section survey was conducted to collect data from 265 mobile services users of the three biggest mobile service providers in Kien Giang Province, Vietnam. This study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to analyze the samples collected. The result showed that customer complaint intention is affected by distributive justice, interactional justice, trust but not procedural justice. Additionally, the moderating role of the perceived responsibility variable to the relationship between customer satisfaction and complaint intention is also proved.

Design and Evaluation of a Fuzzy Hierarchical Location Service for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

  • Location services are used in mobile ad hoc and hybrid networks to locate either the geographic position of a given node in the network or a data item. One of the main usages of position location services is presented in location based routing algorithms. In particular, geographic routing protocols can route messages more efficiently to their destinations based on the destination node's geographic position, which is provided by a location service. In this paper, we propose an adaptive location service on the basis of fuzzy logic called FHLS (Fuzzy Hierarchical Location Service) for mobile ad hoc networks. The adaptive location update scheme using the fuzzy logic on the basis of the mobility and the call preference of mobile nodes is used by the FHLS. The performance of the FHLS is to be evaluated by a simulation, and compared with that of existing HLS scheme.
