A study on Mobile SNS Attributes Effects on Information share, Relationship formation, and User satisfaction (모바일 SNS속성이 관계형성과 정보공유를 매개로 사용자 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This research conducted a survey targeting mobile SNS users in order to see whether mobile SNS attribute( accessibility, usefulness, newness, connectivity) through the medium of information share and relationship formation had a positive influence on user satisfaction. The results of the analysis showed that usefulness and accessibility had a significant influence on information share, while accessibility and connectivity had a significant influence on relationship formation. Information share and relationship formation both had a significant influence on user satisfaction. Based on this research, an angle of approach different from the business transactions and information services offered in existing mobile networks is necessary when corporations provide SNS through mobiles. When considering that the most important part in the use of mobile SNS is the social component, this can be actively used for the development and marketing of SNS services. Therefore, the SNS provider must focus its efforts on finding a method to stimulate user sensibilities in order to increase customer satisfaction and draw out continuous usage.

  • An SNS(Social Network Service) is an online service that supports an effective way to share information over virtual communities. Recently, as SNSs such as Twitter, Facebook, and Me2day are getting bigger, the purposes of using popular SNSs are expanded to broadcastings, politics, marketings and so on. In this paper, we propose an API to integrate and manage open APIs for various SNSs, presenting a library as an implementation of the proposed API. Also, utilizing the developed library, a smartphone application is provided which supports integrated management of popular SNSs and personal schedules. Using the library, developers can reduce costs when they need to implement specific functions for managing various SNSs. With the developed application, we can read and write to/from the related SNSs on same screen, automatically reminding our schedule and sharing the schedule with friends over the SNSs.

Influencing Factors on Users' Resistance to the Mobile Easy Payment Services : Focusing on the Case of KakaoPay Users (모바일 간편결제 서비스에 대한 사용자 수용저항 요인 : 카카오페이 사용자를 중심으로)

  • Since the global financial crisis of 2008, the continuous development and innovation in technology-related fields such as information and communications technology (ICT) are likely to swim against the recession. In this paradoxical situation, the necessity of financial innovation through ICT is on the rise. For this reason, the appearance of Fintech is more meaningful as a new converged industry with the potential to lead financial innovation. The term of Fintech is derived from combining 'Finance' and 'Technology.' In South Korea, one of the most popular types of Fintech is mobile payment. KakaoPay, which is the first mobile easy payment service in Korea, is a much more simplified type of mobile payment service than ones used in the past, and is provided by the most popular mobile messenger service in Korea, KakaoTalk. However, KakaoPay has few active users in spite of its many advantages, which include convenience, simplicity, and a powerful platform. Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to investigate influencing factors of user resistance on KakaoPay. In order to investigate specific factors, a research model is developed based on the unified understanding of user resistance put forth by Laumer and Eckhardt (2012). After gathering online survey data from KakaoTalk users, an empirical analysis is conducted to verify this research model. The results of this study give insights regarding user resistance factors in the Fintech sector, and by so doing, it is expected that the important factors of user resistance could help the diffusion of new services when new mobile payment services appear in the near future.

Proposal of Emotion Recognition Service in Mobile Health Application (모바일 헬스 애플리케이션의 감정인식 서비스 제안)

  • Mobile health industry has been combined with IT technology and is attracting attention. The health application has been developed to provide users a healthy life style. First of all, 5 mobile health applications were selected and reviewed in terms of their service trend. It turned out that none of those applications had any emotional data but physical one. Secondly, to extract users' emotion, technological researches were sorted into different categories. And the result implied that text-based emotion recognition technology is the most suitable for the mobile health service. To implement the service, the application was designed and developed the process of emotion recognition system based on the contents of the research. One-dimension emotion model, which is the standard of classifying emotional data and social network service, was set up as a source. In last, to suggest the usage of health application has been combined with persuasive technology. As a result, this paper prospered a overall service process, concrete service scheme and a guidelines containing 15 services in accordance with the five emotions and time. It is expected to become a direction for indicators considering a psychological individual context.

Analysis of a Decentralized Mobility Management Support for u-City Wireless Network Infrastructure

  • The number of mobile devices roaming into a ubiquitous city (u-city) continues to rise as wireless systems have been widely deployed. The number of mobile devices also varies with time, and they tend to frequently change their locations. In addition, the available wireless access networks may belong to different domains, administrations, management, and internet service providers (ISPs). A fusion of overlapping heterogeneous wireless access networks (e.g., WiMax, Wi-Fi, LTE, etc.) serves the u-city in order to reach different coverage. In this context, technical challenges arise in mobility management for heterogeneous networks to realize their potential coverage and capacity benefits. This paper deals with the analysis of a decentralized mobility management support for u-City wireless network infrastructure. This scheme takes advantage of the features of the fully-distributed model of networked-based mobility management protocol to alleviate and realize the ubiquitous requirements of a u-City.

  • Recently, as the types of services that can be enjoyed in mobile telecommunication networks such as social networks and video streaming are increasing, mobile users(MUs) can access mobile contents easily by consuming mobile data. However, under a mobile telecommunication environment, MUs have to pay a high data fee to a network service provider(SP) in order to enjoy contents. The 'data sponsor' technique, introduced as a way to solve this problem, has attracted attention as a breakthrough method for enhancing contents accessibility of MUs. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that determines the optimal discount rate through the Stackelberg game in the data sponsor environment. We also propose an algorithm to design edge caching, which caches highly popular content for MUs on edge server, through many-to-many matching game. Simulation results clearly indicate that the profit for CP's content consumption is improved by about 6~11%, and the profit of CP according to the ratio of edge caching is improved by about 12% than the other existing schemes under data sponsor environment.

  • 이 연구는 사회관계망의 형태와 구성원에 관한 정보를 분석하여 모바일로 서비스하는 것에 관한 연구이다. 사람들은 얽히고 설킨 다양한 인간 관계를 갖고 있다. 인간 관계를 유지하기 위해 여러 채널을 통해 커뮤니케이션을 하게 된다. 실생활에서 갖게 되는 인간 관계의 형태와 가장 비슷한 형태의 커뮤니케이션 채널은 휴대전화이다. 사회관계망 이론의 관점에서 보면 휴대전화의 사용은 기존의 인맥에서 친밀도가 적은 사람에게는 영향이 크지 않지만 친밀도가 높은 사람에게는 더욱 친밀하게 만드는 영향을 준다. 이 연구에서는 휴대전화의 통화상대, 통화시간, 통화량 등의 정보가 나타나있는 통화기록에 기반하여 일정기간 동안 통화한 상대들을 추출하였다. 통화기록의 정보를 사회 관계망 분석 도구인 UCINET으로 분석한 결과 휴대전화를 매개로 한 사회관계망의 형태가 자아 중심적 관계망과 같은 형태를 지니고 있다는 사실을 도출해냈다. 그리고 자아 중심적 관계망의 분석 기법을 이용하여 관계망의 중심에 있는 자아와 통화상대와의 관계를 분석하였다. 또한 통화상대들의 휴대전화 통화기록을 통해 서로 관계가 있는지에 대해 알아보았다. 그 결과 자아의 인맥 네트워크 안에 있는 사람들을 그룹화하고 그들의 나이, 성별, 직업에 의해 어떠한 특징을 갖는 그룹인지 분석하였다. 이러한 연구는 휴대전화를 통해 자신의 인간 관계 형태를 파악하여 관계를 관리하고 유지할 수 있는 새로운 모바일 서비스 개발을 위해 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 버추얼 커뮤니티(Virtual Community)와 이를 모바일 환경에 응용한 모바일 커뮤니티(Mobile Community)에 관련된 학술적, 산업적 연구는 다양한 분야에서 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 모바일 커뮤니티 연구는 사회적 네트워크 서비스 (Social Network Service)에 치중되어 있기 때문에 모바일 커뮤니티를 비즈니스 환경에 접목하려는 시도는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 비즈니스 환경에 커뮤니티 개념을 도입하고 모바일 비즈니스 커뮤니티 서비스라는 새로운 가치를 창출할 수 있는 가치 사슬(Value Chain) 및 서비스 모델을 제안한다.

  • The smartwork is future-oriented working environment that allows us to engage in work anytime, anywhere conveniently and efficiently by utilizing information and communication technologies in a variety of locations and mobile environments. We proposed a smartwork platform to support the efficient housing management for small housing management companies. Our systems interwork in real time with smart mobile devices and SNS to support high quality housing service for tenants and rental operators. In this paper, we describe real-time complaint handling service using SNS which is a part of smartwork platform for the efficient housing management.

  • The development of various mobile devices and mobile platform technology has led to a steady increase in the number of online social network (OSN) users. OSN users are free to communicate and share information through activities such as social networking, but this causes a new, user privacy issue. Various distributed OSN architectures are introduced to address the user privacy concern, however, users do not obtain technically perfect control over their data. In this study, the control rights of OSN user are maintained by using personal data storage (PDS). We propose a technique to improve data privacy protection that involves making a group with the user's friend by generating and providing fake text data based on user's real text data. Fake text data is generated based on the user's word sensitivity value, so that the user's friends can receive the user's differential data. As a result, we propose a system architecture that solves possible problems in the tradeoff between service utility and user privacy in OSN.
