  • 본 연구에서는 로봇 미들웨어 기술 중 국제표준으로 채택된 RTC를 이용하여 이동 로봇 시스템의 구성요소에 대한 컴포넌트를 개발하였다. 또한 미들웨어 네트워크를 기반으로 이동 로봇 구성요소를 서로 연결하여 하나의 시스템을 구현하였으며 실제 이동 로봇인 NRLAB 02를 이용하여 구현한 이동 로봇 시스템의 성능 시험을 수행하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose the self-autonomous algorithm for mobile robot system (MRS). The proposed mobile robot system which is learned by learning with the neural network can trace the target at the same distances. The mobile robot can use ultrasonic sensors and calculate the distance between target and mobile robot. By teaming the setup distance, current distance and command velocity, the robot can do intelligent self-autonomous drive. We use the neural network and back-propagation algorithm as a tool of learning. As a result, we confirm the ability of tracing the target with proposed mobile robot.

  • We propose the hybrid control for the path control of wheeled mobile robot system. To develop the hybrid control of mobile robot, the continuous dynamics of mobile robot are modeled by the switched systems. The abstract model and digital automata for the path control are developed. This hybrid control system has the 3-layered hierachical structure : digital automata as the higher process, mobile robot system as the lower process, and the interface as the interaction process between the continuous dynamics and the discrete dynamics. The control of following the desired-paths with edges are investigated as the applications by the computer simulation.

  • In the past few years, many researchers are interesting of control of mobile robot with nonholonomic constraints. And tracking problems is important as well as regulation in nonholonomic system control. Some researchers have investigated the stable tracking control law for mobile robot. But, few results showed the globally asymptotically stable control method simply. So, we address the design of globally asymptotically stable tracking control law for mobile robot with nonholonomic velocity constraints using simple method. The stabilizability of the controller is derived by Lyapunov direct method. And we analyze the system responses according to the variation of control parameters in line tracking problem. It is derived that the responses represent no overshoot property in line tracking. Examples are two-wheeled mobile robot and car-like mobile robot and the simulation results represent the effectiveness of our method.

  • A localization system to estimate the position as well as movement direction of mobile robots is proposed in this paper. This system implements a camera fixed on a robot and color patches evenly distributed and mounted on the planar ceiling. Different permutations of patch colors code information about robot localization. Thus, extraction of color information from patch images leads to estimation of robot position. Additionally, simple geometric indicators are combined with patch colors to estimate robot's movement direction. Since only the distribution of patch colors has to be known, the analysis of patch images to is relatively fast and simple. The proposed robot localization system has been successfully tested for navigation of sample mobile robot. Obtained test results indicate the robustness and reliability of proposed technique for robot navigation.

  • RFID system can be used to improve object recognition, map building and localization for robot area. A novel method of indoor navigation system for a mobile robot is proposed using RFID technology. The mobile robot With a RFID reader and antenna is able to find what obstacles are located where in circumstance and can build the map similar to indoor circumstance by combining RFID information and distance data obtained from sensors. Using the map obtained, the mobile robot can avoid obstacles and finally reach the desired goal by $A^*$ algorithm. 3D map which has the advantage of robot navigation and manipulation is able to be built using z dimension of products. The proposed robot navigation system is proved to apply for SLAM and path planning in unknown circumstance through numerous experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 유궤도 이동로봇의 이점을 활용하고 궤도의 유연성을 높여주기 위해 금속 테잎형태의 유궤도를 갖는 이동로봇 시스템을 제작하였다 제작된 무인 운반용 이동로봇은 초음파 및 광(적외선)센서가 탑재된 센서부, 모터 및 엔코더로 이루어진 모터부. 사용자 인터페이스부, 중앙제어부, 컴퓨터 인터페이스부로 구성된다. 초음파센서를 이용하여 이동 경로상의 장애물을 감지하고, 광(적외선)센서를 이용하여 금속 테잎의 궤도를 정확히 감지하여 원하는 위치에 이동할 수 있도록 하였다 개발된 유궤도 이동로봇은 금속 테잎형태의 궤도를 사용함으로써 궤도의 유연성을 높여줄 백만 아니라 무인 이동로봇들의 하드웨어적 소프트웨어적인 비용을 상당부분 절감할 수 있도록 하였다.

전역 초음파 시스템을 이용한 이동 로봇의 자율 주행 (Autonomous Navigation of Mobile Robot Using Global Ultrasonic System)

  • Autonomous navigation of an indoor mobile robot using the global ultrasonic system is presented in this paper. Since the trajectory error of the dead-reckoning navigation grows with time and distance, the autonomous navigation of a mobile robot requires to localize the current position of the robot, so that to compensate the trajectory error. The global ultrasonic system consisting of four ultrasonic generators fixed at a priori known positions in the work space and two receivers on the mobile robot has the similar structure with the well-known satellite GPS(Global Positioning System), and it is useful for the self-localization of an indoor mobile robot. The EKF(Extended Kalman Filter) algorithm for the self-localization is proposed and the autonomous navigation based on the self-localization is verified by experiments.

  • This paper proposes a 2D joystick and LoRa-based teleoperation system for the Ackermman steering mobile robot. The proposed joystick mapping algorithm reduces the linear speed of the robot when the joystick is steered in the direction of the maximum steering angle in the high-speed driving state of a mobile robot to reduce the risk of rollover. The LoRa-based remote operation system is designed for remote operation of mobile robots that require long range communication with relatively little data transmission and low power. The proposed system is implemented and the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the teleoperation system with respect to the stability of communication strength and the robot motion.

  • This paper represents the mobile robot control system remote controlled by PDA(personal digital assistance). So far, owing to the development of internet technologies, lots of remote control methods through internet have been proposed. To control a mobile robot through internet and guide it under unknown environment, We propose a control method activated by PDA. In a proposed system, PDA acts as a user interface to communicate with notebook as a controller of the mobile robot system using TCP/IP protocol, and the notebook controls the mobile robot system. The information about the direction and velocity of the mobile robot feedbacks to the PDA and the PDA send new control method produced from the fuzzy inference engine.
