A Study on the Development of Analytical Methods and Behaviors of Environmental Pollutants(II) : Optimization for Separation of Alkylphenols by Reversed-Phase Liquid Chromatography (환경 오염물질의 정량법 개발과 거동에 관한 연구(II) : 역상 액체 크로마토그래피에서 알킬페놀류의 분리 최적화)

  • As for analytes which did not represent the differences of the selectivity on the stationary and mobile phase, secondary chemical equilibrium theory was applied to study pH effects on the separation of alkylphenols. Mobile phase was consisted of an aqueous sodium carbonate-bicarbonate buffer and acetonitrile. The maximum selectivity for adjacent peak pairs was predicted from those values of $k^{\prime}_{HA}/k^{\prime}_{A-}$ and ${\Delta}pK$. The optimum pH determined by this method was 11.18 pH and solvent selectivity were considered at the same time to invoke the full range of selectivity effects possible for separations. Quaternary mixture composed of methanol, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran and water was adjusted to optimum pH 11.18. As the statistical simplex technique of an overlapping resolution map (ORM) was used to predict the optimized solvent system. The optimum solvent, which gives complete separation of alkylphenols, was determined as follws MeOH : ACN : THF = 14.4 : 81.8 : 2.8.

ViP: A Practical Approach to Platform-based System Modeling Methodology

  • Research on highly abstracted system modeling and simulation has received a great deal of attention as of the concept of platform based design is becoming ubiquitous. From a practical design point of view, such modeling and simulation must consider the following: (i) fast simulation speed and cycle accuracy, (ii) early availability for early stage software development, (iii) inter-operability with external tools for software development, and (iv) reusability of the models. Unfortunately, however, all of the previous works only partially addresses the requirements, due to the inherent conflicts among the requirements. The objective of this study is to develop a new system design methodology to effectively address the requirements mentioned above. We propose a new transaction-level system modeling methodology, called ViP (Virtual Platform). We propose a two-step approach in the ViP method. In phase 1, we create a ViP for early stage software development (before RTL freeze). The ViP created in this step provides high speed simulation, lower cycle accuracy with only minor modeling effort.(satisfying (ii)). In phase 2, we refine the ViP to increase the cycle accuracy for system performance analysis and software optimization (satisfying (i)). We also propose a systematic ViP modeling flow and unified interface scheme based on utilities developed for maximizing reusability and productivity (satisfying (ii) and (iv)) and finally, we demonstrate VChannel, a generic scheme to provide a connection between the ViP and the host-resident application software (satisfying (iii)). ViP had been applied to several System-on-a-chip (SoC) designs including mobile applications, enabling engineers to improve performance while reducing the software development time by 30% compared to traditional methods.

  • 사용자들은 분산 P2P 환경을 통해 대량의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 쉽게 제공 밭을 수 있는 환경이 되었다. 또한 고용량 모바일 기기의 발전과 보급이 확산됨에 따라 사용자들은 사진, 음악, 동영상과 같은 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 대량으로 휴대하며 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나, 이러한 대량의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 관리는 사용자 각자에게 맡겨져 있어 콘텐츠 관리를 어렵게 하고 있는 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 분산 P2P 환경에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 공유와 추천을 통해 사용자에게 적합한 콘텐츠를 제공하고, 제공된 콘텐츠는 모바일 동기화 서비스를 통해 모바일 기기로 저장하고 관리되는 #분산 P2P 환경에서 모바일 동기화 서비스를 통한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 추천 시스템#을 설계하고 실험하였다. 제안된 시스템은 사용자 선호 프로파일 정보로 협업 필터링을 통해 분산 P2P 환경에서 공유된 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 중에서 적합한 콘텐츠를 추천해 주고, 추천된 콘텐츠는 푸쉬 서비스를 통해 모바일 기기로 저장되며. 모바일 기기 사용자의 행동에 따라 모바일 동기화 서비스를 통해 사용자 모바일 기기의 콘텐츠를 관리한다. 이처럼 제안된 시스템은 콘텐츠 추천과 모바일 동기화 서비스로 능동적인 콘텐츠 관리를 제공하여 사용자에게 효율적인 콘텐츠 관리 기법과 활용 방법을 제공 할 수 있다.

  • 모바일 기기 보급이 급증함에 따라 모바일 환경에서 이루어지는 Peer-to-Peer(P2P)방식에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 모바일 기기는 무선통신이라는 특성이 있기 때문에, 이동하는 peer의 에너지 절약이 항상 요구된다. Peer에 저장된 에너지를 모두 사용하게 되면 네트워크에 참여할 수가 없고, 에너지가 없는 peer 수가 지속적으로 증가되면 파일 탐색이 불가능하게 된다. Super peer를 기반으로 하는 계층적인 P2P 시스템은 기존의 단일 계층인 P2P 시스템보다 적은 양의 메시지를 이용하여 파일을 탐색할 수 있다는 장점이 있지만, super peer로 선정된 peer는 주변의 sub-peer들로부터 파일 탐색 요청 메시지를 지속적으로 받게 되어 빨리 에너지가 소모되는 단점이 있다. 본 논문은 super peer를 이용한 모바일 P2P 시스템에서 peer들의 남은 에너지를 고려하여 에너지가 적은 peer의 사용을 피하여 상대적으로 에너지가 많이 남은 peer들의 사용을 유도하는 시스템을 제안하였다. 실험을 통해서 성능평가를 하였으며, 제안된 시스템의 네트워크 유지시간이 기존 super peer를 이용한 시스템보다 오래 지속됨을 확인하였다.

Efficient Parent Peer Selection Method in a Wireless P2P System (무선 P2P 시스템에서 효율적 부모 피어 선택법)

  • In this paper, we devise a cost function by considering the energy consumption rate and the remaining energy of a peer. Then, we propose a parent peer selection method that chooses the least cost peer in the system in a distributed manner. On the contrary to the conventional method that makes each peer select the least cost neighbor as a parent peer, the proposed method chooses a parent peer using the swarm intelligence formed among a set of peers. Therefore, the proposed method could extent distributedly the number of peers searched for parent peer selection. Thus, compared to the conventional method, the proposed method increases the probability of being a parent peer as the cost of a peer becomes smaller with less operational load.

  • 기존의 사용자 성향 분석 방법은 사용자의 정보를 일정 수준 이상 축적하고, 이를 분석하여 필요한 서비스를 지원해 준다. 하지만 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 사용자의 정보가 전혀 축적되지 않아도 사용자의 현재 상황에 적합한 서비스가 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 P2P 모바일 에이전트를 이용하여 사용자의 컨텍스트 정보를 공유하고 유사한 사용자들을 그룹화시킴으로써, 사용자의 성향을 분석하는 시간과 비용을 최소화할 수 있는 사용자 성향 분석 시스템을 제안한다.

  • JXTA 기술은 네트워크 프로그래밍과 컴퓨팅 플랫폼으로 P2P(peer to peer) 컴퓨팅이나 P2P 네트워킹이라는 영역에서 폭넓게 발생하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 만들어진 것이다. P2P 네트워크 영역과 같은 분산 컴퓨팅 문제를 해결할 수 있는 JXTA 플랫폼을 이용하여 효율적인 이동 에이전트 시스템을 설계하여, 동적으로 경로를 선정하고, 서비스에 부하를 덜 주면서 Peer 에게 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • Most of current gCRM systems have focused on analysis of data using location information about customers. Many technological preconditions are required to implement functions for analysis in the gCRAM systems, but it isn't easy to satisfy them and this is preventing the expansion of gCRM. Therefore, some alternatives in which companies can satisfy preconditions for gCRM more easily or reduce the number of them need to be suggested. As one of those alternatives, we suggested new design of gCRM system which is combined with mobile CRM and uses new technology like P2P LBS. In this paper, we reviewed the present status of gCRM, P2P and LBS, and then proposed and implemented a prototype as a case about the expansion of application areas of gCRM.

  • In order to supply services necessary for users intelligently in the ubiquitous computing, effective filtering of context information is necessary. But studies of context information filtering have not been made much yet. In order for filtering of context information, we can use collaborative filtering being used much at electric commerce, etc. In order to use such collaborative filtering method in the filtering of ubiquitous computing environment, we must solve such problems as first rater problem, sparsity problem, stored data problem and etc. In this study, in order to solve such problems, the researcher proposes the collaborative filtering method using types of context information. And as the result of applying this filtering method to MAUCA, the P2P mobile agent system, the researcher could confirm the average result of 7.7% in the aspect of service supporting function.

Effects of a Mobile Web-based Pregnancy Health Care Educational Program for Mothers at an Advanced Maternal Age (고령임부 대상 모바일 웹 기반 임신 건강관리 교육프로그램 효과)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a mobile web-based pregnancy health care educational program for mothers who were at an advanced maternal age (AMA) and to verify the effects of the program on pregnancy health care. Methods: This program was developed using a web-based teaching-learning system design model and composed of 10 subject areas. This research was a quasi-experimental study using a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest time serial design and data were collected from April 2 to May 3, 2014. To verify the effects of the program, it was used for 2 weeks with 30 AMA mothers (experimental group). For the control group, a classroom education booklet for pregnant women used with 31 AMA mothers. Results: The experimental group having participated in program had statistically significantly higher scores for knowledge (t=3.76, p <.001), self-efficacy (t=8.54, p <.001), and practice behavior (t=4.88, p <.001) of pregnancy health care, compared to the control group. Conclusion: The results of the program indicate that a Mobile web-based pregnancy health care educational program is effective in meeting the needs of AMA mothers and can be used as the prenatal educational program for AMA mothers and is appropriate as an educational media for theses mothers.
