  • The attack trend on end-users via mobile devices is increasing in both the danger level and the number of attacks. Especially, mobile devices using the Android operating system are being recognized as increasingly being exploited and attacked strongly. In addition, one of the recent attack methods on the Android operating system is to take advantage of Android Package Kit (APK) files. Therefore, the problem of early detecting and warning attacks on mobile devices using the Android operating system through the APK file is very necessary today. This paper proposes to use the method of analyzing abnormal behavior of APK files and use it as a basis to conclude about signs of malware attacking the Android operating system. In order to achieve this purpose, we propose 2 main tasks: i) analyzing and extracting abnormal behavior of APK files; ii) detecting malware in APK files based on behavior analysis techniques using machine learning or deep learning algorithms. The difference between our research and other related studies is that instead of focusing on analyzing and extracting typical features of APK files, we will try to analyze and enumerate all the features of the APK file as the basis for classifying malicious APK files and clean APK files.

  • The mobile environment which is based on the Internet is expanding the area of the web information systems. The mobile Internet is expanding mobile content and services due to the development of wireless network technology, the proliferation of smart terminal devices, and the emergence of a variety of mobile services platforms. A mobile web is to access to the Internet service using a mobile network or other wireless network using a smart phone or a mobile device. Recently, it is to increase the smart phone usage rapidly in the country, and many companies is entering the mobile market. There are increasing need for this operation plan of a mobile web information system. In this paper, we compared the COBIT, ITIL, the SLA, which are the International Information Systems operation standards, and the information system operation standards of Korea Information Security Agency. We analyzed the suitability of the mobile environment and information system operating instructions, and we compared mobile web, operating environments and the ITIL V3.

  • Mobile air conditioning systems work under widely changing operating conditions. To understand the system behavior under such dynamic conditions, a test facility that can impose transient loads as well as conducting dynamic measurements is needed. To test mobile air conditioning systems including their dynamic performance under various drive cycle patterns without using full scale vehicles in a wind tunnel, a new test facility, called "dynamic simulator," is described. It can replicate real vehicle operating conditions by interacting with the system being tested based on the measured system performance and subsequently adjusting the air properties returning to the test system based on the results of a numerical cabin model. A new dynamic simulator has been designed, constructed, and verified for performing dynamic tests. It was successful in controlling the temperature and relative humidity of the air returning to the test unit within ${\pm}0.7^{\circ}C$ and ${\pm}4%$ of their respective intended values. The verification test under the New European Driving Cycle demonstrated that detailed transient behavior of the mobile air conditioning system could be measured by using this dynamic simulator.

  • This research suggests critical factors affecting success and failure of several commercial mobile operating systems from Palm OS appearing in to main mobile OSs appearing in 2013. For this, we analyses several mobile operating cases, elicit factors affecting success and failure of mobile OS, and conduct ID3 based inductive learning analyses based on elicited factors and values in case dataset. Through this, we draw rules in success and failure of mobile OS and suggest strategic implications for the commercial success of mobile OS in perspective of innovation and globalization.

  • Recently, there are several attempts to save temporal, spatial and paper resources through mobile teleconference. However, present application-based mobile solutions have limited access, and are occasionally not working because of its operating system dependency. In recent times, several researchers attempt to develop mobile teleconference systems that can operate in all operating systems. It is still required to install proprietary applications to sync screens in user device. In this paper, we propose a full duplex and real-time data mirroring technology based on hybrid web that allows syncing screens without application installation, and operates in all mobile devices.

  • In this paper we implement collision avoidance using an artificial potential field and remote control of a mobile robot through ROS(Robot Operating System) among the robot's middleware. We also apply dynamic reconfigure to a node of collision avoidance. The main purposes of ROS are sharing and cooperation. In order to make to fit the purpose of ROS, the hardware that frequently is used in the robot such as LRF and joystick, were reused as node that provide in the ROS.

  • The Android operating system currently has a proven method of Unity optimization. However, the Tizen operating system does not know how effective the existing Unity optimization method can be applied to the Tizen operating system and how effective it is. In this paper, we analyze the efficiency of applying Unity optimizing techniques of Android operating system to Tizen operating system. To get this purpose, this study investigates whether the existing Unity optimization method can be applied to Tizen operating system and evaluates the efficiency of the method through Unity Profiler. This research will allow us to further evaluate the Unity optimizations for the existing Android operating system in the future.

  • As robotics become more sophisticated, there are a growing number of generic systems being used for routine tasks in nuclear environments to reduce risk to radiation workers. The nuclear sector has called for more commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) devices and components to be used in preference to nuclear specific hardware, enabling robotic operations to become more affordable, reliable, and abundant. To ensure reliable operation in nuclear environments, particularly in high-gamma facilities, it is important to quantify the tolerance of electronic systems to ionizing radiation. To deliver their full potential to end-users, mobile robots require sophisticated autonomous behaviors and sensing, which requires significant computational power. A popular choice of computing system, used in low-cost mobile robots for nuclear environments, is the UP Core single board computer. This work presents estimates of the total ionizing dose that the UP Core running the Robot Operating System (ROS) can withstand, through gamma irradiation testing using a Co-60 source. The units were found to fail on average after 111.1 ± 5.5 Gy, due to faults in the on-board power management circuitry. Its small size and reasonable radiation tolerance make it a suitable candidate for robots in nuclear environments, with scope to use shielding to enhance operational lifetime.
