In this paper, we propose a connected car platform architecture called Mobile Second for developing of verity convergence services. A Mobile Second platform architecture is designed to provide more powerful and diverse convergence services for vehicles and drivers by applying technologies of Connected Car and ICT Convergence in various ways. The Mobile Second platform is implemented by applying Tizen IVI and Android to hardware platforms for IVI, Nexcom's VTC1010 and Freescale's i.MX6q/dl respectively. The Mobile Second platform provides the driver with the vehicle's information via IVI devices, mobile devices and PCs, etc., and provides Vehicle Selective Gateway(VSG) and Vehicle Control Framework for the driver to control his/her vehicle, and also provides a web framework to enable the use of VSG's APIs for the monitoring and controlling the vehicle information in various mobile environments as well as IVI devices. Since the Mobile Second platform aims to create new variety of services for Connected Car, it includes service frameworks for Smart Care / Self diagonostics, Mood & Entertainment services, and Runtime, libraries and APIs needed for the development of related applications. The libraries given by the Mobile Second Platform provides both a native library for native application support and a Java Script-based library for web application support, minimizing the dependency on the platform and contributing the convenience of developers at the same time.

This study is to evaluate the economies of scale of the public libraries in metropolitan cities. The results of the regression analysis confirm that for all samples of libraries there is diseconomies of scale in library operations (${\Sigma}b_{n}$≒6.14∼10.91). Therefore, all the types of public libraries should be improve productivity by user-based collection development, increasing circulation turnover rate, activation of in-library use, strengthening mobile library services, rational planning of services area, development of reading programs connected with the curriculum, a new branch library plans, etc.

In this study, the characteristics and types of 1D, 2D barcodes were examined. It is necessary to provide mobile services by making full use of the advantages of the technologies, such as 1D, 2D barcodes, and RFID, and by complementing the disadvantages of them mutually in Korea. Especially, in a mobile environment where the spread of smart phones and mobile networks are expanding, barcodes and RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) were analyzed as a very useful information media which is able to connect offline analogue media and online digital media. In addition, library automation systems and the cases of mobile student ID services using barcodes and RFID in Korean libraries were analyzed. The cases of mobile services using barcodes in foreign countries were also analyzed. With these cases, we propose a method to empower mobile services using barcodes in Korean libraries.

The concept of ubiquitous is being applied already in Korean public libraries, and ubiquitous technologies are becoming intensively in RFID system and mobile service. This research is a survey study to analyze RFID system and mobile service in Korean public libraries which sees ubiquitous age. The RFID system investigation executed manager group of 15 public libraries where the RFID system is constructed and the 259 person user groups which are the experience which uses the RFID system. It analyzed the construction and management, the percieved system benefits, the use satisfaction, and the technical and ethical problems of the RFID system. And mobile service investigation executed 20 public libraries which provide a mobile service. It analyzed the current condition of construction and the problems on management of the mobile service. At the analysis result, the study suggested the concrete plan to activate the RFID system and mobile service in Korean public libraries.

Many businesses, government offices, educational institutions, according to the characteristics of each business and information system is used. However, prevalence of smart phones and a wide range of mobile devices with services, which requires users with mobility, according to the latest mobile services and in many places, and is under development. Interworking between existing systems and mobile systems to be set aside for the development cost and time, a waste of human resources is getting worse. Also, in many places to provide mobile services to existing systems need to fix the problem is coming. In this paper, to solve the problem of interworking between existing systems and mobile systems for the data transfer and processing of existing server, web services server, and mobile systems has been developed between the library.

Recently, the expansion of smart phones, wi-fi. and unlimited service changed our life style from personal computer based to mobile device based. With this trend, a lot of companies and government facilities use QR code as an advertising material, and now the QR code is very popular service in our ordinary life. In the meantime, libraries in abroad and university libraries started using QR code in library service about 2 or 3 years ago, and domestic libraries started using it in service due to the increase of establishment of mobile Library websites. In this research, starting with looking into the literature, I analyzed the examples of the use of QR code in libraries. On the base of it, I drew a QR code library service model, and what needs to be considered for the use of it.

This study aims to investigate information seeking behavior of mobile-based Web users, especially, college students. This study also evaluates mobile search services based on various criteria, and suggests how to improve portal's mobile search services. The results of this study show that the most urgent improvement is needed in the contents of mobile search services. Improvements are also required in the area of interface design followed by accessibility and mobile search functionalities. The results of this study can be applied to the portal's effective development of mobile search services.

In this work, the preparations and characteristics of capacitors and inductors for RF IC as a integrated devices are investigated. These kinds of capacitors and inductors can be applicable to the passive components utilized in voltage controlled oscillator(VCO), low noise amplifier(LAN), mixer and synthesizer for mobile telecommunication of radio frequency band(900 MHz to 2.2GHz), and in a library of monolithic microwave integrated circuit(MMIC). The results show that these inductors and capacitors array for RF IC may be applicable to the RF IC passive components for mobile telecommunication.

This study aims to analyze users' assessment of electronic libraries in the mobile app market and promote service improvement based on this. To this end, the basic background and purpose of the research, research method, and research scope were first set, and the relevant literature and empirical prior studies were analyzed. Next, users' evaluations of electronic libraries were collected and analyzed from Google Play Store. Based on the results analyzed, measures to improve the quality of electronic libraries were discussed. Based on the results of the study, the following improvement measures are proposed. Need for systemic improvement and stabilization. Provision of applications suitable for multi-device environments. Resumption of services after systematic inspection after updating. Simplification of sign up, log in, and authentication procedures. User support through real-time chat. Introduction of a detailed assessment of reviews. Provision of guidance and user manual for electronic libraries. Improvements to expand user convenience, and Securing differentiation from other similar services.

This study aims to investigate the current states of branch systems of public libraries in Korea and to find implications to improve such systems. Nationwide surveys to directors and branch directors of public libraries were conducted along with case studies on major local areas. It was revealed that the duties for each branch were rationally assigned in functional perspectives. The result also revealed that the branch systems of provincial office of education were planned in an inappropriate manner without considering their functional attributes. Other findings included (1) public library branches were necessary to be located in local governments based on the hierarchal structure of the following: a central library, a main local branch. a mobile library unit. public mini-library and deposit station ; (2) Saemaul mobile library and private mini-library service were the most effective when they were provided in conjunction with public library branches.
