A Study on Mobile Application Advertising Users' Perceived Perception and Service Recovery (모바일 애플리케이션 광고 이용자의 지각된 인식과 서비스 회복에 관한 연구)

  • In general, service failure occurs inevitably and the customers who experienced the greater dissatisfaction have the higher expectations of service recovery. However, most of the previous studies have focused on the evaluation and risk factors of pre-service quality. Thus, this study is contrary to the numerous previous studies and focus on the effectiveness of mobile application advertisement users' perceived perception on service recovery after service fails. A research model presented in this study is based on the Equity Theory and deeply evaluated the effectiveness of Distributive Justice, Interactional Justice, and Authenticity Relevance on Service Recovery. The survey of this study was conducted among 286 users who have experienced a services recovery of mobile application advertising. As a result, among all the factors of users of mobile application advertising, Distributive Justice, Interactive Justice, and Relevance have a positive impact to Satisfaction. In addition, Distributive Justice, Authenticity and Satisfaction also have a positive impact to Trust. Ultimately, Satisfaction and Trust have a positive impact to Service Recovery. The results of this study are expected as a reference for presenting a new business model for mobile application advertising industry, reducing business risk and enriching the related researches.

Categorizing Sub-Categories of Mobile Application Services using Network Analysis: A Case of Healthcare Applications (네트워크 분석을 이용한 애플리케이션 서비스 하위 카테고리 분류: 헬스케어 어플리케이션 중심으로)

  • Due to the explosive growth of mobile application services, categorizing mobile application services is in need in practice from both customers' and developers' perspectives. Despite the fact, however, there have been limited studies regarding systematic categorization of mobile application services. In response, this study proposed a method for categorizing mobile application services, and suggested a service taxonomy based on the network clustering results. Total of 1,607 mobile healthcare services are collected through the Google Play store. The network analysis is conducted based on the similarity of descriptions in each application service. Modularity detection analysis is conducted to detects communities in the network, and service taxonomy is derived based on each cluster. This study is expected to provide a systematic approach to the service categorization, which is helpful to both customers who want to navigate mobile application service in a systematic manner and developers who desire to analyze the trend of mobile application services.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of credit-control application to provide prepaid service for Diameter Mobile-lP application in Diameter-based AAA system. Diameter credit-control application is designed to support prepaid accounting service, which is not supported in RADIUS and Diameter accounting. Real-time credit-control requires that an application must be able to rate service information in real-time. In addition, it is necessary to check that the end user's account provides coverage for the requested service, prior to initiation of that service. In this paper, we design and implementation Diameter credit-control to provide prepaid service for Diameter Mobile-IP application.

  • According to the scale of mobile applications has been expanded, the high coupled application combined mobile and web service are growing. The growth of mobile application's size means that predicting design for variability should be involved. If mobile application's change is occurred, application should be reinstalled totally. However this reinstallation can raise side-effects in case of high-coupling application. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique of customization for changing web service protocol as the mobile applications are connected with web service in android platform. Proposed protocol customization technique is consist of selection and plug-in technique.

  • RFID is issued as a core technology for Ubiquitous environment recently. Especially, Mobile RFID which is converged with RFID and wireless internet, provides new services to users, increased added-value to service providers. For commercial service of Mobile RFID, it needs an accounting service. The Diameter Base Protocol, mostly used for authentication, authorization, and accounting service, supports only deferred accounting service. For more variable accounting policy, Diameter Credit-Control Application which is capable of prepayment accounting, also should be considered. In this paper, a new accounting model with Diameter Credit-Control Application for Mobile RFID service is proposed.

Classification and Evaluation of Service Requirements in Mobile Tourism Application Using Kano Model and AHP

  • Purpose The emergence of mobile applications has simplified our life in various ways. Regarding tourism activities, mobile applications are already efficient in providing personalized tourism related information and are very much effective in booking hotels, flights, etc. However, there are very few studies on classifying the actual service requirements and improving the customer satisfaction in mobile tourism applications. The purpose of this study is to implement a practical mobile tourism application. To serve the purpose, we classify and categorize the service requirement of mobile tourism applications in Korea. We employed Kano model and analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Specifically, we conducted a focus group study to find out the service requirements in mobile tourism applications. Design/methodology/approach The data for this study were collected from Koreans and Foreigners who has the experience using mobile tourism applications. Participants needed to be familiar with mobile tourism applications because such users may be more aware of the mobile tourism applications services. We analyzed 147 valid data using Kano model and conducted AHP analysis on five experts in the field of tourism using Expert Choice software. Findings In this paper, we identified the 17 service quality requirements in the mobile tourism applications. The results reveal that the service requirement such as Geo-location map, Multilingual option, Compatibility with different operating systems were unavoidable service, absent of such requirements leads to the dissatisfaction. Based on the results of the integrated application of both Kano model and AHP analysis, this study provide specific implications for improving the service quality of the mobile tourism applications in Korea.

  • Purpose - This study aims to provide a brief understanding of usability and its extended models with TAM as well as identifying additional determinants that had been suggested in previous studies on mobile services. Research design, data, and methodology - Empirical data were collected by conducting a field survey of potential mobile application service users. The call for participation was also made in mobile related application issues, which were widely discussed. Result - The ease of use and usefulness had a significantly positive influence on attitude and intention. It also was revealed that added value services can offer practical value to customers. Thus, positive attitudes toward the adoption of services by customers are present when they perceive higher usefulness and ease of use of mobile application services. Conclusion - It was indicated that customers who are more inclined to try new products or who have a higher demand for new things tend to think about those functionalities and added value mobile application services from the perspective of usefulness and ease of use and operation.

  • The purpose of this study is to introduce the concepts of smartphone and app, to review the theoretical researches and the representative service examples in academic libraries' mobile services based on smartphone apps, and to propose the proper mobile services methods based on smartphone apps in academic libraries of Korea. The ways for mobile app services in academic libraries are like these: 1) Libraries need to prepare the hybrid service system based on the combination of mobile web and app for smartphone. 2) Libraries have the guidelines for choosing apps which are applied to library services. 3) Libraries develop the apps for library marketing and education services and make use of existed apps to their own services. 4) Smartphone application bibliography service(Appography service) needs to be developed and serviced as an academic library service field.

Distributed all question of 190 copies but disk floret inclination did valid data 171 that clear question and omission remove a lot of questions by type of study among questionnaire of collected 182 wealths. Analyzed factor analysis and authoritativeness to search validity and confidence of questionnaire and used single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis for hypothetical verification. According to verification result, Mobile service that apply position base service usefulness and system quality, adaptedness of Mobile service that apply position base service by leading person affecting in use, acted for connection healthy and felt value is important factor immediately. Usability and social effect, felt expense, privacy did not appear by leading person that keep in mind in this study. Is been related with step that Mobile service that apply position base service is placed. That is, as present childhood, a person who have experience that use service to look for friend is few and usability fairly in last in wide application boundary and this very important person was removed finally in model. This study has sense in terms of study systematically about LBS application service use leading person that is getting into the spotlight worldwide among Mobile service that is injured newly.
