The 3390 million people, around 83% of the adult population in Korea use smartphone. Although the safety problem of the certificate has been occurred continuously, most of these users use the certificate. These safety issues as a solution to 'The owner of a mobile phone using SMS authentication technology', 'Biometric authentication', etc are being proposed. but, a secure and reliable authentication scheme has not been proposed for replace the certificate yet. and there are many attacks to steal the certificate and private key. For these reasons, security experts recommend to store the certificate and private key on usb flash drive, security tokens, smartphone. but smartphones are easily infected malware, an attacker can steal certificate and private key by malicious code. If an attacker snatchs the certificate, the private key file, and the password for the private key password, he can always act as valid user. In this paper, we proposed a safe way to keep the private key on smartphone using smartphone's unique information and user password. If an attacker knows the user password, the certificate and the private key, he can not know the smart phone's unique information, so it is impossible to use the encrypted private key. Therefore smartphone user use IT service safely.
What Michel Foucault has interpreted about Jeremy Bentham' Panopticon in the point of power relationship of ones's gaze is put in comparison with the characteristics shown in the modern media and mutual meanings are interpreted in the respect of a power relationship of modern gaze. Modern people communicating through media are placed in certain type of power relationship. This study analyzed the difference of it in the respect of the power of gaze in Panopticon and the consumption of information. Panopticon assumes single-network supervision, that is, one-way gaze. However, in modern media, interactive communication is possible based upon the development of information telecommunication technology. Therefore, this study aims to compare and study modern single-network supervision and multi-networks supervision based on information telecommunication technology. The development of various media such as internet, mobile phone and smart card has changed the single-network supervision system structured since modern times into the multi-network supervision system. 'Gaze-power' presented in the relationship to media enables us to discuss the problem of mutual receptiveness, the presence of various powers according to information structure and consumption power. In particular, the form provided by modern media has the complexity of mutual communication in the relationship of multi-networks, rather not assuming only one-way nature of single-network. Therefore, the approach of communication issue provided by modern media in the respect of multi-networks relationship was done by the power relationship of gaze in the respect of information communication. Gaze determines the power of watching. In addition, the visualization format aims at the power.
In current society, the digital era that makes enormous amount of data, and the diversified city, the smart space, which has characteristics of creating, collecting and representing data, is appeared. After 2012, in the social media environment called hyper-connected society with wide-spread smart phone, people started to get interested in public data and big data by generalized mobile device and SNS. At first, development of forming platform of data was focused, but now, many different idea from diverse area have been suggested about data analysis and usage to visualize the space intellectualization service. To focus on the visualization process to increase the usage of this public data for ordinary people more than specialized people, this research grasps the present condition of open data and public data service from the current public data portal and considers the applicability of them. As the result of research, the analysis and application of data to ordinary people decrease the use of paper documents, and this research will help to develop the application which is fast and accurate about individual behavior and demand to utilize public data service in intellectual space.
In this paper, we propose a low-cost license plate recognition system based on smart cam system using Android. The proposed system consists of a portable device and server. Potable device Hardware consists of ARM Cortex-A9 (S5PV210) processor control unit, a power supply device, wired and wireless communication, input/output unit. We develope Linux kernel and dedicated device driver for WiFi module and camera. The license plate recognition algorithm is consisted of setting candidate plates areas with canny edge detector, extracting license plate number with Labeling, recognizing with template matching, etc. The number that is recognized by the device is transmitted to the remote server via the user mobile phone, and the server re-transfer the vehicle information in the database to the portable device. To verify the utility of the proposed system, user photographs the license plate of any vehicle in the natural environment. Confirming the recognition result, the recognition rate was 95%. The proposed system was suitable for low cost portable license plate recognition device, it enabled the stability of the system when used long time by using the Android operating system.

As the use of smartphones has rapidly increased due to the development of digital technology, the expansion of smartphones, and the COVID-19 incident, dependence on smartphones and the Internet is emerging as a serious social problem. As one of the solutions to the smartphone overdependence problem, the government and companies are releasing smartphone overdependence prevention applications. However, research on the effectiveness of smartphone overdependence prevention applications is insufficient. Therefore, this study selects 25 applications serviced in Korea as analysis targets and evaluates smartphone overdependence prevention applications in terms of function and service using the FGI survey method to identify problems and propose improvements. In the function evaluation, the functions of blocking illegal/harmful apps/websites, limiting smartphone usage time, and monitoring smartphone usage status are provided in most applications, so satisfaction scores are also highly evaluated. However, functions such as location check, smombie prevention, and body camphishing prevention served by some applications are evaluated low due to poor performance and poor accuracy. Classified by service provider, government-providing applications need to accurately perform functions and improve convenience of use. Mobile-Carrier-providing applications need to improve connectivity with other carriers and compatibility with other smart devices like smartphone, tablet, etc. Other private enterprise-providing applications need to open AS channels such as customer service centre and chatbot to improve service.

The revolution of smart media such as smart phone, smart TV and tablets has brought easiness for people to get contents and related information anywhere and anytime. The characteristics of the smart media have changed user behavior for watching the contents from passive attitude into active one. Video is a kind of multimedia resources and widely used to provide information effectively. People not only watch video contents, but also search for related information to specific objects appeared in the contents. However, people have to use extra views or devices to find the information because the existing video contents provide no information through the contents. Therefore, the interaction between user and media is becoming a major concern. The demand for direct interaction and instant information is much increasing. Digital media environment is no longer expected to serve as a one-way information service, which requires user to search manually on the internet finding information they need. To solve the current inconvenience, an interactive service is needed to provide the information exchange function between people and video contents, or between people themselves. Recently, many researchers have recognized the importance of the requirements for interactive services, but only few services provide interactive video within restricted functionality. Only cooking domain is chosen for an interactive cooking video query service in this research. Cooking is receiving lots of people attention continuously. By using smart media devices, user can easily watch a cooking video. One-way information nature of cooking video does not allow to interactively getting more information about the certain contents, although due to the characteristics of videos, cooking videos provide various information such as cooking scenes and explanation for each recipe step. Cooking video indeed attracts academic researches to study and solve several problems related to cooking. However, just few studies focused on interactive services in cooking video and they still not sufficient to provide the interaction with users. In this paper, an interactive cooking video query service system with linked data to provide the interaction functionalities to users. A linked recipe schema is used to handle the linked data. The linked data approach is applied to construct queries in systematic manner when user interacts with cooking videos. We add some classes, data properties, and relations to the linked recipe schema because the current version of the schema is not enough to serve user interaction. A web crawler extracts recipe information from allrecipes.com. All extracted recipe information is transformed into ontology instances by using developed instance generator. To provide a query function, hundreds of questions in cooking video web sites such as BBC food, Foodista, Fine cooking are investigated and analyzed. After the analysis of the investigated questions, we summary the questions into four categories by question generalization. For the question generalization, the questions are clustered in eleven questions. The proposed system provides an environment associating UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) that allow user to watch cooking videos while obtaining the necessary additional information using extra information layer. User can use the proposed interactive cooking video system at both PC and mobile environments because responsive web design is applied for the proposed system. In addition, the proposed system enables the interaction between user and video in various smart media devices by employing linked data to provide information matching with the current context. Two methods are used to evaluate the proposed system. First, through a questionnaire-based method, computer system usability is measured by comparing the proposed system with the existing web site. Second, the answer accuracy for user interaction is measured to inspect to-be-offered information. The experimental results show that the proposed system receives a favorable evaluation and provides accurate answers for user interaction.

We the smart phone of Android bases it will be able to solve like this problem points [ayp] from under planning and development boil the elementary student safe helper it will can use. When it uses the elementary student safe helper system which we propose before the accident occurs, it will grasp the state information of the student and it will be able to prevent an accident in advance. We will try to more efficient safe guard to elementary school student by real-time monitoring skill soon.
This study systematically analyzed types of fashion brand application focusing on accounts created in Korea. While referring to 'Chanel' which has developed a fashion brand app for the first time in August of 2008, not only for App store by Apple Inc. of the greatest market share but also for Android market, the one and only competitor of App store, the study examined cases of fashion brand app in Korea and foreign countries which have been in service till August of 2013 since the year of 2008. To achieve the research goal, the study conducted a literature research and a case review, categorizing the app by their distinctive functions which were Basic Information, SNS, AR, LBS, Entertainment, Mobile Shopping and Live Streaming. As for the first function, Basic Information, it was considered to provide information on a brand such as prices, sizes and colors of products which should be the most fundamental function of a fashion brand. The function would include look book, catalogues, photographs and others of products, helping users of the app with their understanding on images and concepts of the brand. Second, SNS function was considered useful for its mobility and communication and with the help of theirs, the users share fashion information with each other. Third, AR function as in a filed of virtual reality would edit virtual objects to look real in an actual environment. This would eventually offer the users a chance to try for clothes virtually. The fourth function, LBS, would work with GPS to find a store closest from a present location. This would be a help when the users try to find stores holding promotion events or trails while hiking in mountains. The fifth Entertainment function would include all sorts of games and chances for the users to listen to music and keep fashion diaries. The sixth function, Mobile Shopping, would help the users purchase items online via the app as they would not visit a store in person. The seventh function, Live Streaming, would give the users chances to actually see fashion collections in real time, held all over the world in every season. Because of this function, not only fashion experts but also regular people have become able to enjoy the fashion shows. The distinctive characteristics of the fashion brand application discussed in the study will be a useful reference when any relevant fields try to design other new fashion brand application.
In recent years, a series of large-scale disastrous accidents have been occurred frequently both in public and private sector. Such disasters become catastrophe due to poor early response and delayed prompt rescue. Damage from catastrophe could have been drastically reduced or minimized with effective response and recovery management. The smart phone-based mobile applications have important potentials in providing solutions for the effective response and recovery management. Mobile applications can greatly improve risk communication in case of disasters by integrating process of exchange information and data on risk among risk evaluators, risk managers, and other interested parties. In this light of potentials, this study investigates the measures and management to better manage early responses and to effectively deal with domestic disaster-related of the status of public applications service, and utilization. This study examines how disaster applications can be better used and how effective information dissemination through applications could help the post-disaster management process. Based on this findings, it proposes a guideline of effective disaster-related applications by public sector for the future development of actual services and activation solutions. The results show that "User Promptness Side" and "Content Believability Side" factors found to be the two most significant factors in the disaster-related applications by public sector. Discussion and implications are discussed.

The increase in the number of music files in smart phone and MP3 player makes it difficult to find the music files which people want. So, Query-by-Singing/Humming (QbSH) systems have been developed to retrieve music from a user's humming or singing without having to know detailed information about the title or singer of song. Most previous researches on QbSH have been conducted using musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) files as reference songs. However, the production of MIDI files is a time-consuming process. In addition, more and more music files are newly published with the development of music market. Consequently, the method of using the more common MPEG-1 audio layer 3 (MP3) files for reference songs is considered as an alternative. However, there is little previous research on QbSH with MP3 files because an MP3 file has a different waveform due to background music and multiple (polyphonic) melodies compared to the humming/singing query. To overcome these problems, we propose a new QbSH method using MP3 files on mobile device. This research is novel in four ways. First, this is the first research on QbSH using MP3 files as reference songs. Second, the start and end positions on the MP3 file to be matched are estimated by using multi-layered perceptron (MLP) prior to performing the matching with humming/singing query file. Third, for more accurate results, four MLPs are used, which produce the start and end positions for dynamic time warping (DTW) matching algorithm, and those for chroma-based DTW algorithm, respectively. Fourth, two matching scores by the DTW and chroma-based DTW algorithms are combined by using PRODUCT rule, through which a higher matching accuracy is obtained. Experimental results with AFA MP3 database show that the accuracy (Top 1 accuracy of 98%, with an MRR of 0.989) of the proposed method is much higher than that of other methods. We also showed the effectiveness of the proposed system on consumer mobile device.
