  • X-ray 회절법을 이용하여 P-toluenesulfonanilide, C13H13NO2S의 결정 및 분자구조를 규명하였다. Methanol 용액으로부터 얻은 무색 단결정은 단사정계, 공간군은 P21/c이며, a=8.777(1)Å, b=9.784(2)Å, c=15.139(2)Å, β=99.00(1)°, Z=4, V=1284.0(6)Å3, Dc=1.28g/cm3, λ(Mo-Kα)=0.71069Å, μ=2.3cm-1, F(000)=520, Temperature : 293±3K, 직접법으로 개략적인 분자모델을 설정하고 3.0σ이상인 711개의 독립 회절반점에 대하여 완전행렬 최소자승법으로 정밀화하여 최종신뢰도값 R=0.038인 최종적인 분자모형을 구하였다. 두 벤젠고리의 이면각이 68.4°이며 분자들은 c축 방향 2회선 나선형으로 이상적으로 충진되어 있으며 분자간은 van der Walls 결합력으로 이루어져있다.

열 가압 방식을 사용하여 제작된 인레이 세라믹 수복물의 적합도 평가 (Assessment of inlay ceramic restorations manufactured using the hot-pressing method)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal and internal fit of lithium disilicate ceramic inlay produced by heat pressing that inlay pattern made by subtractive manufacturing and additive manufacturing method. Methods: A mandibular lower first molar that mesial occlusal cavity (MO cavity) die was prepared. After fabricating an epoxy resin model using a silicone impression material, epoxy resin die was scanned with a dental model scanner to design an MO cavity inlay. The designed STL pile was used to fabricate wax patterns and resin patterns, and then lithium disilicate ceramic inlays were fabricated using hot-press method. For the measurement of the marginal and internal gap of the lithium disilicate, silicone replica method was applied, and gap was measured through an optical microscope (x 80). Data were tested for significant differences using the Mann-Whitney Utest. Results: The marginal fit was 103.56±9.92㎛ in the MIL-IN group and 81.57±9.33㎛ in the SLA-IN group, with a significant difference found between the two groups (p<0.05). The internal fit was 120.99±17.52㎛ in the MIL-IN group and 99.18±6.65㎛ in the SLA-IN group, with a significant difference found between the two groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: It is clinically more appropriate to apply the additive manufacturing than subtractive manufacturing method in producing lithium disilicate inlay using CAD/CAM system.

폴리술폰 중공사막을 이용한 Flaring Gas에서의 이산화탄소 분리 및 전산모사 (Separation and Simulation for Carbon Dioxide from Flaring Gas Using Polysulfone Hollow Fiber Membrane)

  • Flaring gas에서 $CO_2$ 제거를 위해 폴리술폰 고분자를 이용한 중공사막을 제조하였다. 제조된 중공사막은 1단과 2단 공정의 전산모사와 실제 공정을 통해서 $CH_4$ 농도 99% 이상 $CO_2$ 농도 1% 미만의 운전조건과 성능을 확인하였다. 또한 $25Nm^3/h$ 급 bench scale $CO_2$ 분리막 연속공정에서 100시간의 운전시간 동안 $CO_2$의 농도를 1% 미만으로 안정적으로 운전하였고 이때의 $CH_4$ 회수율은 약 98%였다.

  • 경남농업기술원 화훼연구소에서 황색 대륜계 '99-가-2'를 모본, 복색 중륜계 '99-나-3-1'을 부본으로 인공교배를 실시하여 복색 소륜계 거베라 'Sun Cap'을 육성하였다. 특성 검정 포장에 정식하여 2004년부터 2007년까지 3회에 걸쳐 생육 및 수량특성 검정을 실시하였다. 'Sun Cap'은 선명한적/황의 복색(RHS 45-B/9-A)과 녹색의 화심이 잘 조화되는 화경이 강건하고 안정된 화형의 홑꽃 소륜화이다. 년간 주당평균수량은 약 102.6본 정도이며, 평균 절화수명은 약 13.5일 정도이다.

담도폐쇄증 진단에서 DISIDA 간담도주사의 진단적 의의 (Diagnostic Utility of Tc-99m DISIDA Hepatobiliary Scintigraphy in the Diagnosis of Biliary Atresia)

  • 목 적: 신생아 담즙정체증의 흔한 원인중 하나인 담도폐쇄증의 진단에 많이 이용되고 있는 Tc-99m DISIDA간담도 주사의 진단적 의의에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법: 1995년 1월부터 1999년 8월까지 4년 8개월 동안 서울 중앙병원 소아과와 소아외과에서 신생아담즙정체증으로 Tc-99m DISIDA간담도 주사를 시행한 60명의 환자를 대상으로 그 결과를 분석하였다. 결 과: 전체 60명의 환자 중에서 담도폐쇄증으로 14례(23%), 신생아 간염으로 33례(55%), 간내 담도형성부전증으로 9례(15%), 경정맥 고영양법으로 인한 황달로 4례(7%)가 진단되었다. Tc-99m DISIDA 간담도주사의 민감도는 100%를 보였고 특이도는 80%였다. 결 론: Tc-99m DISIDA 간담도주사에서 장관내 방사능이 관찰되면 담도폐쇄증을 진단에서 제외할 수 있지만 관찰되지 않을 경우에는 경피간침생검이나 시험적 개복술 등의 적극적인 진단방법을 고려해야 할 것으로 생각된다.

  • 액정(LCD)과 반도체 제조공정에서 발생하는 인산, 질산, 초산, Al, Mo 등이 혼재하고 있는 인산계 혼산폐액을 액정제조공정에서 사용할 수 있는 고순도 에칭액으로 재활용하기 위해서 용매추출법, 진공 증발법, 확산투석법 및 이온교환법의 각각의 기술적 특성을 살린 혼합 처리공정을 이용하여 고순도 인산 회수 기술을 확립하고 상용화 시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 시험 결과 진공증발에 의해 질산과 초산을 100% 제거할 수 있었고, TOP를 사용한 용매추출에서도 추출 4단, 탈거 6단, 상비 1/3으로 완벽하게 제거할 수 있었다. 이온교환의 전단계로 적용한 확산투석에서 Al 97%, Mo 75% 제거할 수 있었고 이온교환공정에서 Al 및 Mo를 각각 1ppm 이하로 정제할 수 있었다.

MINERAL CONCENTRATION IN RICE STRAW AND SOIL IN KYONGBUK PROVINCE, KOREA

  • A field survey was carried out in Korea to assess the mineral composition of rice straw since it is a cheap and available cattle feedstuff. Forage and soil samples were collected in 4 localities in the Kyongbuk province. Soil analysis were also carried out in order to establish the relationships between soil composition and mineral content in the rice straw. Based on NRC tables, the rice straw samples provided adequate amounts of Mg, Ca, K, S, Mo, Mn and Zn. Percentages of samples deficient in P, Na, Cu and Se were 83, 50, 67 and 83 respectively. Soil samples, whose mean pH was 5.8 and mean organic matter content was 3.99%, were comparatively acidic and had high organic matter content. They also had high amounts of extractable Fe and Mn. Correlation coefficients between mineral content in soil and rice straw were low, i.e., 0.42 for Me (p < 0.05), and 0.37 for Mo (p < 0.05). The low or nonexistent correlation between soil and forage composition indicates the difficulty of establishing appropriate methods of mineral availability to the plants.

Analysis of the Dynamic Balance Recovery Ability by External Perturbation in the Elderly

  • Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the age-related ability of dynamic balance recovery through perturbation response during standing. Method: Six older and 6 younger adults participated in this study. External perturbation during standing as pulling force applied at the pelvic level in the anterior direction was provided to the subject. The margin of stability was quantified as a measure of postural stability or dynamic balance recovery, and using principal component analysis (PCA), the regularity of the margin of stability (MoS) was calculated. Results: Our results showed that in the older adult group, 60.99% and 28.63% of the total variance were captured using the first and second principal components (PCs), respectively, and in the younger adult group, 81.95% and 10.71% of the total variance were captured using the first and second PCs, respectively. Conclusion: Ninety percent of the total variance captured using the first two PCs indicates that the older adults had decreased regularity of the MoS than the younger adults. Thus, the results of the present study suggest that aging is associated with non-regularity of dynamic postural stability.

  • A purpose of this study is to identify the concept formation and classify the diverse concepts which related to Kyoung(景) in the Classical Korean Poems(Chong, Chol(鄭澈, 1536-1593), Pak, Inno(朴仁老, 1561-1642), Yun Sondo(尹善道, 1587-1671) on the Yi dynasty period and to construct the direction of the use of that concepts in the future. The results were as follows ; The type of landscape concept was 9 types and had the following frequencies in order ; Kyoung(景)(3), Pung-Kyoung(風景)(2), Kyoung-Chi(景致)(2), Yeo-Kyoung(麗景), Cheong-Kyoung(淸景), Jin-Kyoung(眞景)(1), Mo-Kyoung(暮景)(1), Ka-Kyoung(佳景)(1), Kyoung-Mul(景物). Types of landscape concepts in Yi dynasty period were classified into 9 according to the many characteristics ; personal situations, faith, religion, confucianism in the specific time of Yi dynasty. The most popular type of landscape concepts in general was Kyoung(景). The word, "Pung-Kyoung(風景)" was used in expressing personal thoughts and feelings in one's recollection in terms of landscape elements. The word, "Mo-Kyoung(暮 景)" was used in expressing specific time and the dejection in one's heart in that time. The words, "yeo-Kyoung(麗景)" and "Ka-Kyoung(佳 景)" was used in expressing the landscape elements. The nine concepts had a grest deal to do with defining and perpetuating a personal characteristics, the place and landscape elements, and a society's character in the Yi dynasty period.ty's character in the Yi dynasty period.

In-Process Evaluation of Surface Characteristics in Machining

  • This paper reported research results to develop an algorithm of on-lin evaluation of surface profiles and roughness generated by turning. The developed module consisted of computer simulation of surface profiles using mechanism of cutting mark formation and cutting vibrations, and online measurement of cutting vibrations. The relative cutting vibrations between tool and worpkiece were measured through an inductance pickup at the rate of one sample per rotation of the workpiece. The sampling process was monitored using an encoder to avoid conceling out the phase lag between waves. The digital cutting signals from the Analog-to-Digital converter were transferred to the simulation module of surface profile where the surface profiles were generated. The developed algorithm or surface generation in a hard turning was analyzed through computer simulations to consider the stochastic and dynamic nature of cutting process. Cutting tests were performed using AISI 304 Stainless Steel and carbide inserts in practical range of cutting conditions. Experimental results showed good correlation between the surface profiles and roughness obtained using the developed algorithm and the surface texture measured using a surface profilemeter. The research provided the feasibility to monitor surface characteristics during tribelogical tests considering wear effect on surface texture in machining.
