Convergence Study on the Optimization for Suppression of Starch Hydrolysis using Rutin, Quercetin and Dietary Fiber Mixture Design (루틴, 퀘르세틴, 식이섬유 혼합물 설계를 이용한 전분소화 지연 효과의 최적화에 대한 융합 연구)

  • This study was conducted to develop the efficient system for starch hydrolysis suppression using rutin, quercetin and dietary fiber through the statistical mixture design. The three components were replaced with wheat flour at the level of 10% and the mixed gel with three components was characterized by in vitro starch digestion. The mixture design was applied by simplex-centroid experimental model. The quadratic model (R2=0.86) was well fitted and the obtained regression equation indicated that the significant positive effects was observed in the quercetin and fiber mixture. Based on the statistical results, the best mixing ratio of quercetin and fiber was 72: 28 that led to the lowest predicted glycemic index (pGI). Their interactions on the pGI of starch digestibility were clearly visualized in the 3D surface plot. These results suggested that the mixture of quercetin and fiber interact strongly with wheat flour, consequently retarding starch hydrolysis by 15%.

  • Lots of effort toward design optimizations have been paid for a cost-effective system design in various ways from a transistor level to RTL designs. In this paper, we propose a bit level optimization of an adder design for expanding its design space. For the bit-level optimization, a heterogeneous adder organization utilizing a mixture of carry propagation schemes is proposed to design a delay-area efficient adder which were not available in an ordinary design space. Then, we develop an optimization method based on Integer Linear Programming to search the expanded design space of the heterogeneous adder. The novelty of the Proposed architecture and optimization method is introducing a bit level reconstruction/recombination of IPs which have same functionality but different speed and area characteristics for producing more find-grained delay-area optimization.

A STUDY ON THE ENGINE PERFORMANCE OF A SPARK IGNITION ENGINE ACCORDING TO THE IGNITION ENERGY

  • The more or less homogeneous fuel-air mixture that exists at the end of the compression process is ignited by an electric ignition spark from a spark plug shortly before top dead center. The actual moment of ignition is an optimization parameter; it is adapted to the engine operation so that an optimum combustion process is obtained. Brake mean effective pressure (BMEP) of the spark ignition energy control device (IECD) than conventional spark system at the stoichiometric mixture is increased about 9%. For lean burn engine, the lean limit is extended about 25% by using the IECD. It was considered the stability of combustion by the increase of flame kernel according to the high ignition energy supplies in initial period and discharge energy period lengthen by using the IECD.

  • 본 논문은 HMM 기반 임베디드 음성인식 시스템 구현에 관한 몇 가지 주제들을 설명한다. 임베디드 환경은 한정된 자원을 가지고 있고 그러한 가운데 타당한 인식률과 향상된 인식 속도를 얻기 위해서 몇가지 방법들을 이 논문에서 설명한다. 구현 환경은 DSP6711 기반에서 이루어졌다. 가우시안 mixture 계산 루틴을 부동소수점 연산에서 고정소수점 연산 및 software pipelining을 적용하였다. 고정소수점 변환 전과 후 비슷한 인식률을 얻었고 고정소수점 변환과 software pipelining 적용 후 연산 속도의 향상을 얻었다.

  • It is a quite quality concerning to control temperature of single crystalline growth as it does when you get most of heat treating products. It is also important factor to control temperature when you make the $Al_2O_3$(single crystalline) used to artificial jewels, glass of watches, heat resistant transparent glasses. Thus, it is a major interest to get the proper temperature in accordance with the time process while you are making mixture of oxygen and hydrogen to have the right temperature. In this paper, we will study of electrical valve positioning system for the gas mixture to improve the quality of products.

  • The techniques related to ultra-high strength concrete(UHSC) became the key issue in recent days since requirements of the high-rise building which story is over than 100 gradually increases. Therefore, for the development of 150MPa UHSC this research is generally categorized by 4 parts: development of pre-mixed binders, evaluation for the fire performance of coarse aggregate, optimization of the mixture proportion, and mock-up test. Finally, based on the optimized mixture and its laboratory tests, mock-up test for wall and column specimens were carried out to simulate and evaluate the UHSC in real situation. The mechanical properties of core specimens were compared with the cylinder specimens made in laboratory. For instance, it showed the reasonable the results that the strength at the age of 91 days is 183MPa.

  • Laser lithography technique is useful for fabricating micro-patterns of silicon wafers. In this work, the laser lithography micromachining technique is optimized based on Taguchi method. Sensitivity analysis was performed using laser scanning speed, laser power level, developing time and mixture ratio between developer and Di-water as the parameters. The results show that for the photoresist used in this work, 70${\mu}m$/s scan speed, 50㎽ laser power, 60sec. developing time and 6: 1 mixture ratio gives the best result. This work shows the effectiveness of laser lithography technique in fabricating patterns with a flew micrometer in width.

  • In this paper, we have investigated the output characteristics of the Stokes Raman laser in hydrogen, deuterium, and their mixed gases as a function of the incident pump energy and gas pressure using KrF excimer laser as pumping source for generating the differential absorption lidar (DIAL) wavelengths suitable in measuring the ozone concentration of the troposphere. The optimization results of compact excimer-Raman laser transmitter in DIAL system for the tropospheric ozone sounding at the 292 nm/319 m and 292 nm/313 nm wavelength pairs are presented. for the ozone sounding in the 4-12 km range, it has been demonstrated that the design of transmitter for DIAL lidar may be significantly simplified by the use of 292 nm/319 nm wavelength pair. The investigations of Raman scattering in the mixture of hydrogen and deuterium gases have shown that such mixture may be efficiently used for developing the multi- wavelength light sources for DIAL systems.

  • Barrier rib for the plasma display panel (PDP) was made by photolithographic process utilizing photosensitive barrier rib paste. The barrier rib paste was prepared by first dissolving poly(MMA-co-MAA) binder polymer in butyl carbitol(BC) solvent at 15 wt% concentration. To this solution were added a mixture of functional monomers , Irgacure 651 photoinitiator, and barrier rib power and then the whole mixture was dispersed in the three roll mill for 2 hour. The effect of component and concentration of photosensitive barrier rib paste was studied. After optimization of the paste formulation and photolithographic process, barrier rib could be obtained with good resolution up to 110-120 ${\mu}m$ height and 80-90 ${\mu}m$ width.

A Study of the Optimization of the Compounded PP Using the DOE (실험계획법을 이용한 복합 폴리프로필렌의 최적화 연구)

  • In order to formulate the compounded polypropylene(C-PP) which is suitable to an automotive door trim panel, 9 sorts of properties were measured after manufacturing the C-PP using an extruder and an injection machine with polypropylene(PP), ethylene-octene rubber(EOR) and talc. Mixture design, especially extreme vertices design, in DOE with MINITAB - commercial software was used to analyze the data. The relations between each property and each component, for example, $y=0.00907222x_1+0.00870556x_2+0.0155722x_3$ for specific gravity, were found out by the regression analysis and the variance analysis. The optimized formulation of the C-PP for an automotive door trim panel was acquired at PP(77.6962), EOR(11.0238) and talc(10.2800) by use of the response optimizer(mixture) in MINITAB.
