  • Depending on the industrialization, construction market has grown buildings are based on concrete will continue to increase. But the problems of environmental pollution come to the fore with the indiscriminate use of concrete and rapid development. In addition, carbon dioxide(CO2) in the process of producing cement being emitted a large amount of has been caused a serious problem of environmental pollution. This trend is being actively conducted research to reduce the use of cement. In this study, eco-friendly materials, such as flats, Blast-furnace slag by mix and cement review the mechanical characteristics of the mudflats eco-friendly cement mortar to reduce the usability of the review were seen as a green building material.

품질불량 골재가 고강도 콘크리트의 공학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Poor Quality Aggregates on the Properties of High Strength Concrete)

  • This paper is to investigate the effect of poor quality aggregate source used in Korea on the mixture proportion and strength development of the high strength concrete fixed at 450 kg/m3 of cement contents. For aggregate kinds, good quality crushed stone from KS certified manufacturer and low quality crushed stone from non certified construction field are used. For fine aggregates, river sand, land sand, sea sand and mixed sand are also used. It is found that the use of low quality aggregates resulted in an increase of water demand considerably due to poor gradation of aggregate and excessive fine particles. Test results indicate that the use of low quality aggregate also decreases the compressive strength compared with that of good quality aggregate.

  • The purpose of this study is to arrange the design elements and methods for sustainable community. After made the concept of sustainable community clear in the contemporary architecture and urban design, this study examines rural ecovillage, urban demonstration project, co-housing, new urbanism and urban village, and ecological township as the application modes of sustainable community. Through the cases of the application mode, the design elements for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: the symbiosis system with the nature, permaculture and edible landscape, identity, the technology for saving of resources and energy, the traffic system for the reduction of private motor use, mixed use development, and the housing with diversity. And the design methods for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: strategic planning, visioning, community action planning, workshops and charrette, environmental evaluation, and participation techniques.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a reference data for the development of high workable and normal strength concrete using Polycarboxylate superplasticizer and granulated blast furnace slag as concrete admixtures. So in this study, it is quantitatively evaluated the workability, compressive strength, the heat of hydration and dry shrinkage of high workable concrete on normal compressive strength($21{\sim}27MPa$) for the practical use in construction field. As a result of this study, it is appeared that the performance of high workable and normal strength concrete is superior than that of ready-mixed concrete of the same strength through the B/P tests in the plants.

텍스트마이닝에 의한 지자체 민원청구 패턴 분석 (Pattern Analysis for Civil Complaints of Local Governments Using a Text Mining)

  • 우리나라는 급속한 경제발전과 도시화 과정을 거치며 도시 내부에서 안전, 환경, 교통 등 다양한 분야에서 많은 문제들에 직면하고 있다. 각 지방자치단체는 이런 도시문제를 해결하기 위해 전자민원을 접수 받아 처리하고 있지만, 민원은 해를 거듭할수록 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 지방 중소도시인 진주시를 대상으로 2010년부터 2015년까지 총 6년간의 전자민원 데이터를 수집하여 민원사유별로 분류하고 민원 발생지점의 위치데이터를 추출한 후 지오코딩을 통해 공간상에 점 데이터로 나타내어 공간분포 패턴분석을 실시하여 토지이용과의 연관성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 진주시의 전자민원은 시내중심지역 내에서도 택지개발이 이루어진 주거지역, 중심상업지역, 공업·주거 혼재지역에 군집되어 발생하였다. 민원사유를 토지이용별로 분석한 결과 불법주차단속 민원이 가장 많았다. 또한 민원 발생지점의 반경 50m 내에 위치한 시설물 분포에 대해 분석한 결과 중심상업지역과 공업·주거시설이 혼재된 지역에서는 단독주택이 밀집된 지역에서 많이 발생하였다. 주거지역(구도심)의 경우 일반음식점이 많은 곳에 집중되고 있음이 확인 되었다. 이와 같은 분석결과는 민원에 대해 도시공간적 차원에서 분석함으로써 민원의 근본 원인을 찾아내어 해결방안을 모색하는데 효과적으로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

곡물 순환식의 상온통풍 건조기 개발(I) - 건조기 개발 및 벼의 건조성능 분석 (Development of a Grain Circulating Type Natural Air In-bin Dryer (I) - Development of dryer and analysis of drying performance)

  • A natural air in-bin grain dryer with a grain circulator was developed for on farm use. Natural air drying test for rough rice was carried out to evaluate drying rate, uniformity of moisture content distribution in grain bed and energy consumption. It took 10 days to dry 8 ton of paddy rice from 21.9%(w.b) of moisture contents to 16.7%(w.b), by prototype dryer and the average drying rate was 0.52%/day. The uniformity of moisture content after drying was superior to a conventional natural air dryer in which grains were not mixed during drying periods. The dryer performance evaluation index was 738.3kJ/(kg.water), which was more effective than that of grain circulation type hot air dryer(3,500∼5,000 kJ/kg.water)

새만금 간척지 수림대 조성 방안 - 곰솔과 졸참나무의 초기 생장량 분석 - (Plan to Construct Tree Belt around Saemangeum Reclaimed Land - Analysis of Initial Growth Amount of Pinus thunbergii and Quercus serrata -)

  • This research was conducted to construct a tree belt around Saemangeum reclaimed land using various planting methods and to analyze initial growth amount, to provide practical data to construct tree belt of various purposes. Tree species used in tree belt construction were Pinus thunbergii and Quercus serrata, and the main planting treatment methods used were categorized by existence of windy fence, mixed planting, and un-mixed planting. Growth amount analysis was conducted using ANOVA to compare growth amounts in different experimental groups and Duncan's multiple range test. Growth amount analysis results of tree belt by planting method showed that it is most statistically plausible to install 50% porous windy fence from the direction of wind and frost, followed by planting P. thunbergii and Q. serrata in areas that require mixed tree species tree belt around Saemangeum reclaimed land. In areas where un-mixed planting tree belt is required, it was appropriate to use P. thunbergii alone without a windy fence. Lastly, if the purpose of the tree belt is limited to rapid growth, it was most ideal to plant P. thunbergii alone (without windy fence) or install 50% porous windy fence from the direction of wind and frost, followed by planting P. thunbergii and Q. serrata. This research is based on initial growth amount of tree belt and there is a need for a long-term monitoring of tree belt growth to increase tree-planting success rate in establishing tree belt according to Saemangeum internal development.

Development of a displacement-based design approach for modern mixed RC-URM wall structures

  • The recent re-assessment of the seismic hazard in Europe led for many regions of low to moderate seismicity to an increase in the seismic demand. As a consequence, several modern unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings, constructed with reinforced concrete (RC) slabs that provide an efficient rigid diaphragm action, no longer satisfy the seismic design check and have been retrofitted by adding or replacing URM walls with RC walls. Of late, also several new construction projects have been conceived directly as buildings with both RC and URM walls. Despite the widespread use of such construction technique, very little is known about the seismic behaviour of mixed RC-URM wall structures and codes do not provide adequate support to designers. The aim of the paper is therefore to propose a displacement-based design methodology for the design of mixed RC-URM edifices and the retrofit of URM buildings by replacing or adding selected URM walls with RC ones. The article describes also two tools developed for estimating important quantities relevant for the displacement-based design of structures with both RC and URM walls. The tools are (i) a mechanical model based on the shear-flexure interaction between URM and RC walls and (ii) an elastic model for estimating the contribution of the RC slabs to the overturning moment capacity of the system. In the last part of the article the proposed design method is verified through nonlinear dynamic analyses of several case studies. These results show that the proposed design approach has the ability of controlling the displacement profile of the designed structures, avoiding concentration of deformations in one single storey, a typical feature of URM wall structures.

메타분석을 이용한 자율주행자동차 혼재교통류 영향 분석에 관한 연구: 연속류 도로를 중심으로 (Analysis of Impact on Mixed Traffic Flow with Automated Vehicle Using Meta-analysis: Focusing on Uninterrupted Road)

  • 최근 국내외에서 자율주행자동차의 상용화를 위한 연구개발이 활발히 진행중이며, 연속류 도로에서 레벨3 수준의 자율주행자동차들의 주행이 도입 및 증가될 것으로 예상된다. 이에 다양한 국내외 연구들에서 자율주행자동차의 시장점유율(MPR)에 따른 혼재 교통류 연구들이 진행되었으나, 각 연구들은 독립적으로 시행되어, 연구 결과에 따라 서로 다른 경향을 보인다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다수의 연구 결과들을 계량적으로 취합하여 통합된 결론을 내리는 메타분석 기법을 이용하여 연속류 도로에서 자율주행자동차의 혼재교통류의 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 혼재율 75% 이상부터 추정된 효과크기가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났으며, 자율주행자동차 혼재기에 연속류 도로 운영 및 관리를 위해서는 자율차 혼재기별 맞춤형 정책이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

전기제동을 이용한 전동차의 혼합제동장치의 개발방향 (The Development for Blending Brake System of Electrical Multiple Unit used by Electric Brake)

  • An electric multiple unit(EMU) consists of car body, bogie and brake equipment which is directly related to safety and performance of the motorcar. The blending brake mixed an electric brake and a friction brake is to reduce the energy by applying the restoration energy caused when the motorcar is stopped to car lines and to curtail the maintenance cost by saving the friction brake use. We have developed the advanced EMU since 2004, based on the experiences on the standard EMU in 1999, and we develop the installation which minimizes the use rate of the friction air brake by maximizing the electric brake use in the existing blending brake. We could accomplish the goal by improving the motorcar's Performance and solving the restoration energy's deficit by the friction brake. Actually, when it comes to the test results of standard EMU, except the service brake, in most conditions, we use electric brake to meet the requirements of the necessary brake power, exclusive when the motorcar leaves and stops. Therefore, in this paper, we consider the design concept of motorcar's blending brakes and suggest the way to develop the blending brake using the electric brake maximumly, which is caused by adequately controling the electric brake and the restoration brake.
