ELECTRE IS의 구현 시 일치판정 기준비율 도출과 핵심대안 선정을 위한 혼합정수계획 모형 (A Mixed-Integer Programming Model to Draw the Concordance Level and the Kernel Set for the Implementation of ELECTRE IS)

  • ELECTRE IS requires the decision maker (DM) to specify several parameters such as weights, pseudo-criteria thresholds and the concordance level. Among these parameters, the concordance level has a significant effect on the outranking relation. And the number of alternatives selected may be sensitive to the value of these parameters. Therefore the DM may have to perform many iterations to obtain the desired number of alternatives in the kernel set. In this study, we developed a mixed-integer programming (MIP) model to elicit the concordance level and thereby to choose the desired number of alternatives in the kernel set. The MIP model can be applied in the interactive process so that the pseudo-criteria thresholds are adjusted according to the results of MIP model. Using the MIP model in the interactive process, we can reduce the number of iterations needed to perform ELECTRE IS.

혼합정수계획 모형을 활용한 원양산업의 최적 감척 일정계획 수립에 관한 연구 (A Study on Scheduling of Scrap Disposal for Deap-sea Fishing Industry Using a Mixed Integer Programming Model)

  • In Korea, deap-sea fishing industry plays an important role in a food industry. However, it is in a difficult situation because of the more competitive business environment. Therefore, there is a need to restructure the deap-sea fishing industry by scraping superannuated ships. This paper is designed to present scrap programs for deap-sea fishing industry of Korea. We performed ratio analysis to evaluate financial performance of fishing companies and then applied a mixed integer programming (MIP) model to identify optimal schedule for scraping. The results of the financial ratio analysis indicates that it is legible to provide governmental aid to Atlantic trawl, Northern Pacific trawl, and Indian ocean trawl with minimum required rate of return (MRR) of 3%, and the Atlantic strip fishing industry is qualified to receive the governmental aid with MRR value of 5%. Furthermore, by applying the MIP model to develop scrap planning, we demonstrate how our model can be used to restructure the deap-sea fishing industry of Korea.

  • 공급사슬망에서 분산되어있는 제조시스템에 대한 생산 계획수립은 공급사슬관리의 주요 연구분야 중의 하나이다. 본 논문은 공급사슬망에서 자원제약을 갖는 다단계 다품목 로트사이즈 결정 문제(Multi-Level, multi-item Capacitated Lot Sizing Problem: MLCLSP)를 위한 알고리즘을 제시한다. MLCLSP는 MIP(mixed integer program) 문제에 해당한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 휴리스틱과 최적화 패키지인 LINGO를 이용해 서로 반복적인 방식으로 해를 풀어나가는 혼성적인 성격을 갖는다. 휴리스틱을 이용하여 정수형 변수를 결정한 후, 얻게 되는 LP(linear program) 문제를 LINGO를 이용하여 해를 개선해 나가는 방식을 기본으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 탐색 휴리스틱 기법으로 임의 재시작 타부탐색 알고리즘을 제시한다. 다양한 시나리오의 실험을 통해 제안된 알고리즘들의 성능을 평가한다.

  • Increasing peak load is one of the major concerns about operation of urban railroad systems. Since ESSs (Energy Storage Systems) have a great potential for shaving the peak load, there has been a growing interest in the use of ESS for peak load reduction. Also, ESS can be optimally scheduled to minimize the electricity purchasing cost under a given ToU (Time-of-Use) tariff by taking advantage of electricity price difference between peak and off-peak time. This paper presents a Mixed Integer Programming (MIP)-based ESS scheduling method to minimize the electricity purchasing cost under a ToU tariff for an urban railroad system.

  • Currently, issues related to freight at Vietnamese logistics companies are becoming more and more urgent because of typical problems in Vietnam such as traffic, infrastructure, and application of information technology. This problem has been studied by applying many different approaches such as Integer Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), hybrid, meta search, … In this paper, we applied the ILP model in order to deal with the VRP problem in a small size logistics company which is very popular in Vietnam. The experiments showed promising results with some optimal solutions with some small extra costs.

혼합정수계획법을 이용한 요격미사일의 할당 및 교전 일정계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Allocation and Engagement Scheduling of Air Defense Missiles by Using Mixed Integer Programming)

  • This paper considers the allocation and engagement scheduling of air defense missiles by using MIP (mixed integer programming). Specifically, it focuses on developing a realistic MIP model for a real battle situation where multiple enemy missiles are headed toward valuable defended assets and there exist multiple air defense missiles to counteract the threats. In addition to the conventional objective such as the minimization of surviving target value, the maximization of total intercept altitude is introduced as a new objective. The intercept altitude of incoming missiles is important in order to minimize damages from debris of the intercepted missiles and moreover it can be critical if the enemy warhead contains an atomic or chemical bomb. The concept of so called the time window is used to model the engagement situation and a continuous time is assumed for flying times of the both missiles. Lastly, the model is extended to simulate the situation where the guidance radar, which guides a defense missile to its target, has the maximum guidance capacity. The initial mathematical model developed contains several non-linear constraints and a non-linear objective function. Hence, the linearization of those terms is performed before it is solved by a commercially available software. Then to thoroughly examine the MIP model, the model is empirically evaluated with several test problems. Specifically, the models with different objective functions are compared and several battle scenarios are generated to evaluate performance of the models including the extended one. The results indicate that the new model consistently presents better and more realistic results than the compared models.

거부 및 무차별 선호 조건을 고려한 다기준 그룹 의사결정 (Multi-Criteria Group Decision Making Considering the Willingness to Reject and the Indifferent Preference)

  • The paper deals with the development of a model for group decision making under multiple criteria. The Multi-criteria group decision making (MCGDM) is the process to determine the best compromise solution in a set of competing alternatives that are evaluated by decision makers having their own preferences on conflicting objectives. For MCGDM, we propose a Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) model that implements a revised median approach by noticing that the original median approach cannot consider the willingness to reject and the indifferent preference conditions. The proposed MIP model tries to select a common best Pareto-optimal solution by maximizing the overall desirability considering the willingness to reject and the indifferent preference that represent the tolerance measure of each decision maker. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model, we compared the results of the proposed model with those of the median approach. The results showed that the proposed MIP model produces more realistic and better compromised alternative by incorporating the decision maker's willingness to reject and the indifferent preferences over each criteria.

수리계획모형을 활용한 대도시 폐기물 관리 시스템의 광역화 운영 계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Regionalization of the Municipal Solid Waste Management System Using a Mathematical Programming Model)

  • The increased environmental concerns and the emphasis on recycling are gradually shifting the orientation of municipal solid waste (MSW) management. This paper is designed to evaluate regionalization programs for MSW management system. We developed a mixed intiger network programming (MIP) model to identify environment-friendly, cost-effective expansion plans for regionalization scenarios considered. The MIP model is a dynamic capacity expansion model based on the network flow model that depicts the MSW management cycle. In particular, our model is designed to determine the optimal form of regionalization using binary variables. We apply this model to assess the regionalization program of Seoul Metropolitan City, which includes three scenarios such as 1) districting, 2) regionalization with neighboring self-governing districts, and 3) g1obalization with all districts. We demonstrate how our model can be used to plan the MSW system. The results indicate that optimal regionalization with nearby self-governing districts can eliminate unnecessary landfills and expansions if jurisdictional obstacles are removed.

이산함수를 사용한 신뢰도 최적화에 의한 장치 선택에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Equipment Allocation using Reliability Optimization with Discrete Functions)

  • 본 연구에서는 장치가 가지고 있는 신뢰도 데이터와 가격을 고려하여 공정에서 요구하는 신뢰도에 도달할 수 있도록 최적화 분석을 수행하여 어떠한 장치를 선택하는가에 대한 방법을 제시하였다. 이산함수를 이용한 목적함수와 제한 조건을 이용하여 보다 실질적인 최적화 문제를 구성하였다. 재? 반응기를 대상으로 하여 시스템에서 요구하는 신뢰도 목표 값에 도달하기 위해 가격에 따라 다른 고장률을 가지는 장치에 대하여 최적화 분석을 수행하였다. 이러한 최적화 분석을 수행하기 위해 mixed-integer programming(MIP) 방법을 사용하였다. 재? 반응기의 신뢰도 목표값이 $1.65{\times}10^{-04}$일 경우에 최적화 분석 수행결과는 가격과 고장률이 모두 좋은 장치로 분석되었다. 그러나 신뢰도 목표값이 낮을 경우 최적화 분석의 수행결과는 비싼 장치의 선택보다 가격과 신뢰도가 낮은 장치를 선택함으로써 원하는 신뢰도 목표값에 도달할 수 있었다.

유전알고리즘을 이용한 지역 집중형 및 분산형 다단계 역물류 네트워크 분석 (Analysis of regionally centralized and decentralized multistage reverse logistics networks using genetic algorithm)

  • 본 연구에서는 지역적으로 집중화된 역물류네트워크(Regionally centralized multistage reverse logistics network: cmRL)와 지역적으로 분산회된 역물류네트워크(Regionally decentralized multistage reverse logistics network: dmRL)를 제안하고 있다. cmRL과 dmRL 각각은 고려되는 영역 전체와 지역적으로 분산된 세부영역에서의 RL 네트워크로 구성된다. 이들은 혼합정수계획법(Mixed integer programming: MIP) 모델로 공식화되며, 유전알고리즘(Genetic algorithm: GA)을 통해 해를 구하게 된다. 사례연구에서는 두 가지 형태의 RL네트워크를 제시하며 다양한 수행도 척도를 사용하여 cmRL과 dmRL의 효율성을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 cmRL이 dmRL 보다 더 우수한 수행도를 나타내었다.
