This study, through the cases occurred in mathematics pencil-paper test, after analyzing the types and the factors of misunderstanding, was to seek to pursue the alternatives to diminish the misunderstanding caused in paper test. When classifying misunderstanding shown in pencil-paper test, four types are found - unsuitable edit, unsuitable organization, formal/typical habits, and unsuitable question situation. One Way, considering accomplishment rate based on existence and nonexistence of misunderstanding factors, the testing paper, that is, type A with misunderstanding factors, showed that the accomplishment rate is 10 percent below the testing paper, type B excluding misunderstanding factors. Also, after distinguishing only items including misunderstanding factors, in comparison with the accomplishment rate, the results showed about 22% difference. And in the type of misunderstanding factor, when system was unsuitable, the degree of misunderstanding appeared seriously. The more complicated many types were, the higher the number of misunderstanding cases appeared. Based on these study results, the conclusions are the followings : First, teachers should try to develop examination papers for exact evaluation. Second, teachers, while students are solving the questions, misunderstanding recognize what are the misunderstanding factors they feel. Third, in the pencil-paper evaluation, the work that teachers should consider importantly, is to analyze students' thought process. Fourth, teachers should try for smooth communications with students.

We recognized that most teachers are having insufficient understanding or misunderstanding about congruent conditions of triangles. So the purpose of this study was to analyze teachers's understanding about congruent conditions of triangles and to find the causes of teachers's misunderstanding. Most teachers have been misunderstanding that triangle determining- conditions are only 3 ways(SSS, SAS, ASA). And they have wrong confidence that 2 sides and a non included angle(ASS) is not always able to make one triangle. This study found that these teachers's misconception was from the textbook using now. As the result of this study, we suggested 7 improvement ways about planning of curriculum, writing of textbook and teacher training course.

The SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) is whooped up and many Organizations have considered the SOA as the next generation architecture. Due to misunderstanding of the SOA, they think that the CBD is not useful anymore and may be completely replaced by the SOA. Because of misunderstanding of the SOA, they think that the CBD is not useful anymore and may be completely replaced by the SOA. In this paper, we presented the critical success factor, technology and successful construction methods of the CBD based SOA. So, we expect that this paper provides the guides for adopting and realizing the SOA.

In the communication mobile terminal, Vocabulary recognition system has low recognition rates, because this problems are due to phoneme feature extract from inaccurate vocabulary. Therefore they are not recognize the phoneme and similar phoneme misunderstanding error. To solve this problem, this paper propose the system model, which based on the two step process. First, input phoneme is represent by number which measure the distance of phonemes through phoneme likelihood process. next step is recognize the result through the reliability measure. By this process, we minimize the phoneme misunderstanding error caused by inaccurate vocabulary and perform error correction rate for error provrd vocabulary using phoneme likelihood and reliability. System performance comparison as a result of recognition improve represent 2.7% by method using error pattern learning and semantic pattern.

What is the fundamental cause of the broader gap between East and West medicine? This is a very long story that began in the late Renaissance and still continues today. Why it took so long time from the end of the XIIth century when acupuncture was firt imported to Europe to XX century when it was finally settled in France? We present three cases which caused the delayed establishment : A "blisters" article from Diderot and D'Alembert in the eighteenth century, the practice of acupuncture by Dr. Berlioz in Paris in early 19th century, and the reception of the works of Georges Soulie de Morant in France in the 1930's. We attempt to show the misunderstanding that has always prevailed between the East and West medicines because of different viewpoint : the West has not understood the richness and subtlety of the approach of East asian thought and wanted to "align" the Asian medical modality to west medicine with inappropriate and insufficient "experiments" without enough explanation of the principles and philosophical backgrounds. It was not the matter of technology but the mutual incomprehension of history and culture.

Misunderstanding of multimedia in the computer industry, the confusion of consumers, and the lack of understanding of technology in the human context provide an impetus for examining and speculating on the future of multimedia. "What can a multimedia technology do ?" is not a sufficient question for consumers until we add "for whom." Both how the relevant technology is likely to develop and how human choices would be made are examined with a focus on historical trend in media technology adoption.

Pyroprocessing (or pyrometallurgy) is the way of extracting from materials subjected to high temperatures. Generally, this process has a high energy consumption because of mass production and heating-up. To attain effective and efficient energy management, energetic analysis using 0-dimensional model is usually conducted. However, this model can lead to a misunderstanding about energy evaluation due to many assumptions and limitations. In this study, heat & mass balance using 0-dimensional model was reviewed to systematize problems and considerations in general process energy evaluation.

A severe noise in industrial field can be sometimes generated from unexpected installation error and misunderstanding of industrial machinery. To solve the noise problem, the diagnostic tool is generally applied to identify the noise source and to detect the fault of machinery. And then, the suitable control countermeasure corresponding to the diagnostic results is presented. In this paper, two control cases an noise problem of the Incineration Plant and the Pump are introduced.

There are some similar phonological properties shared by different languages. The phenomenon of vowel length is just one of them which shows distinctive futures. In some languages long vowels serve to differentiate meanings. In that case the phonological context it creates is important and so it has to be incorporated into the phonemic inventory of the language, otherwise there will be misunderstanding. In this paper I will try to explain the Turkish vowel system as well as the Korean, and then to show how long vowels take their forms in Turkish and Korean.
