This research intends to find the concept of eco-village in suburban area which various people can experience. For this, we established general ideas through theoretical reflections, and found an objective of suburban eco-village through functional practices. According to the research, a composition of eco-village to reduce the environmental load consists of three major functions. First, by forming traditional meanings of eco-village community, it creates eco-friendly life through energy saving and resource recycling. Second, it functions as relieving the stress of the urbanites and healing their mind and body in the nature of formed eco-village community. Finally, the implementation of eco-village is an idea of group of people who tends to live with nature. Thus, by recovering the nature and by preserving the nature with eco-friendly concept, it will be developed by a place where people can experience the importance of nature. However, these three functions should reflect regional characteristics sufficiently, and through saving and utilizing the history, culture and ecological resources of the regions, it gives positive support to local natives' sustainable life. Consequently, it will show the right direction of development of suburban eco-village through each case analysis of these three functions.
"The four types of temperament" (hereinafter "Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine") is applied to not only medicine, but also various fields like management, politics, education, etc. Despite that "Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine" is "Mind-Body Medicine" which is fundamentally based on "Controling Mind and Body", though, it was rarely used for psychotherapy in practical. Practical treatment on clinical medicine is limited to only medicine-treatment or acupuncture-therapy. However treatment on illness and pathological phenomenon suggested by "Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine" keeps individual's nature in control, and it governs environmental facts: age, region, and socio-cultural factors: alcohol, debauchery, riches, authority(酒 色 財 權). Especially, "Moral Cultivation" in "Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine" emphasizes the importance of properly understanding vice(邪心) and laziness(怠行) concealed in natural temperament of human being, and pursuing "Understanding Each Other(博通)" and "Upright Conduct by Oneself(獨行)". Furthermore, because "Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine" is developing medical theory based on "Understanding Others(知人)" and "Straighten Oneself(正己)" doing try integral approach, it has great implications for the present generation that forms much of social connection. Similarly, Ken Wilber who is one of representatives of "World Philosophy" and "Integral Psychology" is suggesting "Integral Life Practice" (hereinafter ILP) - applies practical and heuristic "Integral Approach" to individual experiences. ILP is the only practical discipline for development of viable whole-area. ILP says that there are four core modules: body, mind, shadow, spirit(靈), and five auxiliary modules: morals(倫理), gender(性), work(일), emotion(情緖), relationships(關係性). These nine modules could apply mind-body treatment of "Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine", and thereby more developed mind-body treatment would be found.

Background Marjolin's ulcer is known to present a high proportion of recurrence and poor prognosis compared to other kinds of skin cancer. Based on our experience, Marjolin's ulcer patients who have received reconstructive surgery present a higher proportion of recurrence when there was disturbed wound healing after surgery. The impact of disturbed wound healing after surgery on the prognosis was examined in this study. Methods A retrospective study was carried out on 26 patients who were diagnosed with Marjolin's ulcer and received surgery in this hospital from 1996 to 2011. Histologic grading, lymph node metastasis at diagnosis, and the wound healing process were evaluated and chi-squared analysis applied in order to determine the correlation with recurrence. Results The proportion of recurrence increases in patients with a low histologic grade or lymph node metastasis at diagnosis. The proportion of recurrence is even higher when the problem occurs during the wound healing process after surgery. Conclusions Disturbed wound healing after surgery could be used as a sign to quickly identify the recurrence of carcinoma. Therefore, in the event a problem occurs in the wound healing process after surgery, one should keep in mind that this could be a sign of the possibility of recurrence and proceed with careful observation and active diagnosis through additional physical examinations, general X-ray tests, computed tomographys, magnetic resonance imagings, and so on, to obtain an early diagnosis of recurrence.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to explore and describe the experience of pursuing complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in breast cancer patients. Methods: Ten women with breast cancer participated in the study. Data were collected through individual in-depth unstructured and individualized interviews with each participant from February to July, 2015. Theoretical sampling was used upto the point of theoretical saturation. Data were analyzed using Corbin & Strauss's grounded theory methodology. Results: Through open coding, 22 sub-categories, and 13 categories were identified. Analysis revealed that the core category was 'endless management of mind and body for healing', which consisted of four phases; exploring, applying, grasping, and integrating. Through this process, the participants utilized various action/interactional strategies such as 'dealing with information', 'trying out blindly', 'enduring volitionally', 'experiencing effects on mind and body,' and 'grasping one's own way.' The consequences of these strategies were integrating the habit of health remedy into one's life, becoming a main agent for change, and tolerating one's weak body. Conclusion: In-depth understanding of the CAM pursuing experiences of patients with breast cancer would guide clinical nurses and policy makers to develop effective interventions and policies for better supporting them with regard to the usage of CAM.
Healing Environment is to cure the user as a whole by considering his social, psychological aspect, beyond the functional aspect of treatment. Various design elements of healing space have been developed so far, but they were mostly described with same rank. Even though every element is significant, facilities such as nursing homes tends to run with low budget, and they can't fulfill them all at the same time. It is important to find the sequence between design elements. The purpose of this study is to reorganize the design principles of healing environment by Maslow's hierarchy of needs(Physiological needs, Safety needs, Love/Affilitation needs, Self-Esteem needs and Self-Actualization needs), and analyze elderly nursing homes and examine the framework itself by application. Research method was consist of literature review on healing space design elements and hierarchy of needs, reconstruction of design elements with hierarchy, and application on 5 Korean nursing home cases. As the result, Maslow's hierarchy of needs and design elements were linked with good balance. Analysis of 5 nursing homes revealed that lower needs were short of environmental support compared to higher needs. Especially design elements related to Physiological needs should be improved. Also, new framework had strength in not only providing gasps on current situation in detail, but also suggesting elements for improvement with hierarchy and sequence. Through this research healing environment design elements and human needs were linked. Nursing home is the last environment for the elderly, which should help to heal their body and mind and also support them to accomplish self-actualization.
The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of fire officers' experience of traumatic events and subsequent forest healing on their occupational burnout. The results are as follows: First, the experience of traumatic events, social and psychological healing, and relieving stress by strolling had a significant effect on burnout. The more fire officers are exposed to traumatic events, the more they lose self-control in social and psychological aspects, and the lower the level of stress relieved through strolling, the higher the level of burnout. Thi sresult suggests that the more fire office rsare called out for fire fighting, the more they see their colleagues with severein juries, and the higher the level of mental and physical an xiety, the more they areex hausted. Moreover, for es thealing help store duce the irmental and physi calfatig uecaused by traumatic events, thu spreven ting them from suffering from burn out. Second, the experience of traumatic events, social and psychological healing, and relieving stress by strolling had a significant impact on occupational stress. The more fire officers are exposed to traumatic events, the more they lose self-control in social and psychological aspects, and the lower the level of stress relieved through strolling, the higher the level of occupational stress. This result indicates that to relieve job stress caused by fire fighting, increased forest healing activities, including various programs such as psychotherapy, developing interpersonal relationships and self-control, and creating a positive mind-set, can reducejobstress and help fire officers recover from it. Lastly, job stress had a mediation effect on the effects of the experience of traumatic events and forest healing on burnout. This implies that burnout can be prevented when fire officers gain high emotional stability through social and psychological healing and stress-relief strolling over a traumatic experience, and stronger support from the organization and family can keep them from being emotionally drained, thus contributing to the prevention of burnout.
The purpose of this study was to show that yoga psychology aims to actualize the positive potentials in the depth of human mind with the perspective of body-emotion-mind-spirit integration. This approach is described in the context of modern positive psychology. For this purpose, the Self-realization of yoga psychology is discussed, which is to develop one's higher self as a center of psyche apart from one's psychological growth or maturation. An individual can experience positive emotions such as pleasure, joy, happiness and ecstasy through the typical yoga technique of concentration. Happiness is one of the main issues of positive psychology, but yoga psychology called it "ānanda" and divided it further into seven types. The positive emotions of positive psychology seem to be equivalent to positive states of mind in yoga psychology. But yoga regards calmness, tranquility, nonattachment and transcendence as the most valuable virtues for the full actualization of human potentials. From the perspective of yoga psychology, the tranquil state of mind is the wonderful fruit of long and arduous yoga practices. It is the calm and neutral state of mind which is free from all the turmoils of everyday life. Tranquility is beyond the scope of modern positive psychology's issues, but it offers some precious insights to them.
The purpose of this study is to find out the possibility of the healing function of art museums in modern times with the precedent studies and to explore the healing potential specifically. There have been studies on the various healing programs regarding patients with Alzheimer, learning disability, seniors, etc. The researcher approached this study in three aspects, art appreciation, space, communication as healing potential of art museums. These findings will be able to draw more social attention on art museums. Therefore, this study will provide a new perspective on the art museums to people concerned art museums. And it will make the professionals, working for company workers, students and other people suffering under the modern stress, recognize the art museums as a place to look inside in the professionals' own mind and to heal as well as a place for culture and sophistication. These findings will be able to draw more social attention on art museums.
Purpose: Arirang, the most beautiful song in the world, has been meeting with natural healing to increase synergy. Arirang and nature healing have pioneered the field of Arirang music healing by crossing different boundaries. Methods: Arirang Gymnastics was used. Results: New Arirang Gymnastics is part of the healing of Arirang music, which consists of six movements. Starting with warm-up exercises in time for Seoul Arirang, the patient will apply pressure to the pit of the pit of the stomach, the head of the stomach, and the non-surface field. To match Haeju Arirang, massage the right side of abdomen, left side underbed, top (stomach), and lower bladder. Tap the Danjeon, the bladder, the heart, and the lungs in accordance with Millyang Ariryang. We have numerous terms representing mind. We can understand them largely as the relationship of 'Discernible Mind' and 'Indiscernible Mind.' Because, our understanding mind is formed by linguistic discernment. When any discernment arise from our mind, we recognize the mind shown by discernment[Discernible Mind]. At the same time, we can think orignal mind[Indiscernible Mind] outside that discernment. Buddhism, generally, has understood mind in the relation with everything. That is to say, they have understood it from the perspective of dependent co-arising. In the early Buddhism and the abhidharma Buddhism, approaches to mind were mainly made by the discerning method. They explained arising and vanishing of 'Discernible Mind' by the law of dependent arising. Co-arisen 'Discernible Mind' is impermanent and temporary. But they never be denied on 'Discernible Mind' as an vainness. In $Mah{\bar{a}}y{\bar{a}}na$ Buddhism, $N{\bar{a}}garjuna$ understood the essence of dependent arising as the ${\acute{s}}{\bar{u}}nyata$ (emptiness) and the law of dependent arising as simultaneous dependence, not gradual dependences. $N{\bar{a}}garjuna$ criticized on vainness of Discernible Mind through ${\acute{s}}{\bar{u}}nyata$, and made possible to directly perceive Indiscernible Mind, before Discernment. Undiscriminating Mind can not be explained for being stayed beyond the state linguistic discernment(false discrimination), however, had been approached from various other names to potential consciousness or original nature. While ${\acute{s}}{\bar{u}}nata$ thought focused on criticizing vainness of discernment, Hwaeum thought suggested aspect of Indiscernible mind from the aspect of $ekay{\bar{a}}na$ dependant co-arising that everything has been co-arisen, the truth of discrimination. Furthermore, it opened the path to affirm the both indiscernible mind and discernible mind by illuminating that everything is manifestation of original nature itself, i.e. nature-arising. Hwaeum thought focused on perfect understanding by explicating the relation both indiscernible mind and discernible mind from the view point of non-abiding, rather than clarifying 'Discernible Mind' and 'Indiscernible Mind', itself. That is to say, from the aspect of dependant co-arising, Hwaeum thought plays a role that enters the indiscernible world from discernible world, and also, another role, from the aspect of nature-arising that is manifesting discernible world from indiscernible world. These aspects are important for righteous understanding on mind, and also simultaneously, very effective for healing disease of obsession, a kind of metal disease.
