  • 마이크로프로세서 시스템의 키보드 버튼의 누름 결과를 기존의 입력 스캔 제어방법이 아닌 인터럽트 제어방법으로 시도하였다. 키보드 스캔 결과를 인터럽트 제어 방법으로 제어 시 적절한 30ms의 주기로 인식하도록 함으로써 마이크로프로세서의 작업부하를 줄이는 키보드 버튼 누름 제어 인식 알고리즘을 제시하였다.

A design of 16-bit adiabatic Microprocessor core

  • A 16-bit adiabatic low-power Micro-processor core is designed. The processor consists of control block, multi-port register file and ALU. A simplified four-phase clock generator is designed to provide supply clocks for adiabatic processor. All the clock line charge on the capacitive interconnections is recovered to recycle the energy. Adiabatic circuits are designed based on ECRL(efficient charge recovery logic) and $0.35\mu\textrm$ CMOS technology is used. Simulation results show that the power consumption of the adiabatic Microprocessor core is reduced by a factor of 2.9~3.1 compared to that of conventional CMOS Microprocessor

A compatibility verification environment for HDL-modeled microprocessors

  • This paper describes the simulation environment that verifies whether a new microporcessor described with HDL is compatible with an existing microprocessor. The compatibility verification is done by showing that the new microprocessor executes the OS(Operating System) program used in the existing microprocessor without any modification of its binary code. The proposed verification environment consists of a virtual system and a graphic user interface (GUI) module. Each module is independently designed based on serve-client model and three exists a communication part for information interchange between the two modules. This paper describes the method of constructing the verification environment and presents the compatibility verification environment of the x86 microprocessor as the simulation result.

  • The three-phase full(6-pulse) bridge controlled rectifier is one of the most widely used types of solid-state converters in DC drive applications for higher performance. In most of the previous designs, the gate control circuits of the converter have been designed with analog method which can be easily affected by noise. Nowdays with advances of microelectronics and power electronics, microprocessor and pheripal LSIs are increasingly used for eliminating this problems. In this paper, a novel general-purpose microprocessor -based firing system and control scheme for a three-phase controlled rectifier bridge has been developed and tested. Using the phase relations between ${\Delta}$-Y transformer in power operation part, gate pulse of the converter is generated with real time process so that microprocessor may share its time to control algorithms efficiently. The firing angle of the converter is smoothly controlled in the range of 0 $^{\dirc}$ to 180$^{\dirc}$ with a fast respone and a constant open loop gain, even for the case where the converter is fed by a weak AC system of unregulated frequency. The hardware and software control circuit implementation built around a 80286 microprocessor is discussed, and the experimental results are given. This scheme uses less hardware components and has higher dynamic performance in variable speed DC drive applications.

  • This paper deals with an implementation method for the one chip microprocessor(8097)-based capacitance type wave recorder for a measuring real-time wave height. The system was developed to make it possible to real-time remote sensing the wave height by deploying the RS-232/422/485 communication methods. The system test results for the developed system such as linearity, system stability and robustness of the disturbance was also verified through the performance tests of the system. Furthermore, the system was developed after due consideration with connecting the public network such as satellite mobile communication system and LAN, through the deploying VLSI(Very Large Scale Integration) design techniques.

  • This paper describes a new pulse width modulation (PWM) scheme suitable for microprocessor-based PWM inverters. Optimal switching patterns minimizing the performance index corresponding to the distortion factor are decided in real time by numerical calculation using the microprocessor-implemented control system. This PWM method is compared with conventional methods, such as the natural PWM and the direct PWM. Harmonic analysis using digital simulations shows that the proposed PWM scheme has much less low-order harmonics than the other methods. The validity of this method is verified in experiments using a microprocessor-based control system, where a 16-bit single-chip microcontroller, Intel 80c196kc is used.

레졸버를 이용한 BLDC 모터의 드라이브 개발 (Development of Drive for BLDC Motor Using Resolver)

  • The paper shows a result for development of BLDC motor drive by using a resolver as position detection sensor. The developed drive use a method detecting rotor position based on HSI interrupt function of microprocessor without a specialized counting circuit. The algorithm generating three-phase PWM wave to change switching voltage and current is realized based on single chip microprocessor. The PWM generating part and position counting circuit are realized by software technique without usage of conventional analogue circuit or object-oriented chips. So the drive system become compact. The effectiveness of the developed drive is verified by experimented results of speed response for step reference input.

  • A microprocessor-based incremental servo system with a variable structure is presented. New system properties are obtained by composing a desired trajectory from the parts of trajectories of different structures. It is implemented with Z-80A microprocessor to control a dc motor, and fast response without overshoot and good steady-state accuracy can be easily obtained.

  • In this paper, the authors introduce a high-speed microprocessor based on automatic vacuum capacitor switch with a modified digital filter design using distributed arithmetic. The automation trends particularly the automatic vacuum capacitor switch has helped ameliorate the power factor essentials and automatically triggered to close when the line current exceeds rated value. Microprocessor relays use digital filters to extract only the fundamental and attenuate harmonics. To provide optimum speed characteristics a distributed arithmetic based filter design in the microprocessor controller which not only enhances filtering speed but additionally enables lower power consumption at the cost of area has been introduced. The result is a unified description that describes a digital filter structure down to bit level.

  • The pulse width modulated inverters based on fully digitalized method are becoming an industrial standard. This paper describes a real time generation of fully digitalized PWM pulses and its realization by single chip microprocessor. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique, the algorithm is implemented by using single chip microprocessor, 8097BH. The proposed method is compared with the well known triangular comparison method through experimental results, and the speed control of a motor is experimentally done by voltage-to-frequency constant control based on the proposed PWM generation method.
